Reflection : Psychologists maintain that a mentally healthy person can tolerate uncertainty and change. Our ability to adapt and live with the unknown and unexpected is our strongest survival tool. Many of those in mental hospital cannot bear to live with unanswered questions. They must have the correct answers for everything, even if they have to create their own world to provide those answers. Living with uncertainty is the hallmark of spiritual health as well. This is called "faith," what Our Lady continually calls us to in Medjugorje. In his letter to the Hebrews. Paul defines faith "as the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen " (Heb 11 :1). Faith is trust in God's providence and care. Its an attitude that declares, " I don't know what God is doing, but I so believe that whatever it is, it's good. " Christians do not need the answer to every question because they have the presence and love of Christ. Why do we need every answer when God is with us to comfort and assure us in the midst of our ignorance and confusion? We are like infants held in the strong, safe arms or our parent. Sometime ago we published Message #264 entitled 'Catholic Teaching To Be A Hate Crime' and a follow up Message #267, which discussed the then newly-enacted Canadian law that prohibits hate speech against homosexuals and others. Effectively, such law deems preaching the Bible as 'hate speech' and a criminal offense in Canada. In 2004, France enacted a law making it a crime to speak out against homosexuality. Earlier this year in the United Kingdom, it became a crime to express 'hate speech' against homosexuals there as well. The maximum sentence under this new law is worse than that rendered to the average rapist. Additionally, we published Message #234 entitled 'As It Was in the Days of Lot', which discussed an overt act by the US Supreme Court to legalize sodomy in America. Now the satanic globalists have acted again! A new bill entitled H.R. 1955: 'Violent Radicalization and Homegrown Terrorism Prevention Act of 2007' has been passed by the US House of Representatives. A carbon copy of this bill (S. 1959) will be voted on by the US Senate soon. Under the guise of the above mentioned socially acceptable name, these bills comprise the first step towards making preaching the Church’s teachings on homosexuality a crime in America. The stated purpose of the bills is the establishment of a Commission to "Examine and report upon the facts and causes of violent radicalization, homegrown terrorism, and ideologically based violence in the United States, including United States connections to non-United States persons and networks, violent radicalization, homegrown terrorism, and ideologically based violence in prison, individual or 'lone wolf' violent radicalization, homegrown terrorism, and ideologically based violence, and other faces of the phenomena of violent radicalization, homegrown terrorism, and ideologically based violence that the Commission considers important." Further, the bills call for an interim report (within 6 months of the first meeting of the Commission) and a final report (within 18 months of the first meeting of the Commission) regarding "legislative recommendations for immediate and long-term countermeasures to violent radicalization, homegrown terrorism, and ideologically based violence". It has gotten to the point in America where one easily can identify the sinister bills/laws by their sweet sounding names. Satan and his minions are snakes -- and they continue to slither through the law eradicating our freedoms incrementally. When one approach fails; they try another. To date, previous attempts at a 'hate speech' law in America have failed. Indeed the devil lies in the details of these bills. Read the following defined terms contained within the bills, noting how they can (and will) be applied to Christian teaching against homosexuals: - VIOLENT RADICALIZATION - The term 'violent radicalization' means the process of adopting or promoting an extremist belief system for the purpose of facilitating ideologically based violence to advance political, religious, or social change. - HOMEGROWN TERRORISM - The term 'homegrown terrorism' means the use, planned use, or threatened use, of force or violence by a group or individual born, raised, or based and operating primarily within the United States or any possession of the United States to intimidate or coerce the United States government, the civilian population of the United States, or any segment thereof, in furtherance of political or social objectives. - IDEOLOGICALLY BASED VIOLENCE - The term 'ideologically based violence' means the use, planned use, or threatened use of force or violence by a group or individual to promote the group or individual's political, religious, or social beliefs. While the enactment of these bills into law will not, in and of themselves, categorize Christian teaching as hate speech in America, they do represent the first step in that direction. What is the probability that France, Canada, the UK and certain other countries have passed laws against speaking against homosexuality as hate crimes recently; and the USA and other countries are considering doing the same currently; and all of these events have occurred about the same time by chance? Fridays and Saturdays are the regular days I receive messages so I don't expect any message from Monday to Thursday but today Wednesday is an exception...for I have a short message, duration 5 minutes but which jolted me the most because it seems to me that from now on, my prayers for mercy extension will not bear much fruit anymore. The Father is very much aware of my work schedule that I need to be in the office before 8:00 am since from church I have to drive for 20 more kilometers to get to work in traffic clogged streets. Since time immemorial it has been my devotion to perform my role as a Prayer Warrior, an intercessor or a Restrainer against doom and gloom events. I have been praying against earthquake devastation, supertyphoons, tsunamis, financial crash, world war, asteroid or comet hit, terror attacks, and many others that partake of events which a normal person would not want to happen. As soon as I get hold of a doom message, my immediate response is to pray that God may extend His mercy and God knows and very much aware that it's my predilection. I cannot therefore predict anything and say that it's going to happen for sure because I know that prayers can help alter the course of prophetic events simply because God is love and mercy and He does not delight in sending or allowing grave tribulations to come to humankind. His priority is our salvation not our tribulation. Today I am a bit surprised at what the Lord told me through the still, small, inner voice. Maybe my thoughts only as that is very hard to distinguish from an outside source as the Divine, but let me share anyway.
