Reading: Matthew 11:20-24
Dear friends,
Then he (Jesus) began to reproach the towns where most of his mighty deeds had been done, since they had not repented. Matthew 11:20
During my prayer time this morning I was with Jesus, Our Lord and Friend, and He said, Melvin, My brother, I love you. My message as usual is addressed to all My brothers and sisters everywhere whom I love and bless with all My Heart. I am calling you again this morning to pray to our Heavenly Father in My Name for the conversion of sinners and those who have rejected Me.
Pray that they may receive the grace to believe in their Creator and Saviour and to amend their life of sin.
I reproached many towns while I was on earth because of their unbelief. I went to Capernaum, Chorazin, Bethsaida and others and performed great healings in their sight, yet they would not accept Me.
Today these towns do not exist. They are just heaps of stones covered in dirt. The same thing happened to Jerusalem after My death on the cross because the people there refused to welcome Me. This city was completely destroyed for hundreds of years. Shortly other cities will disappear from the face of the earth because they are but dens of sin.
There is still time, however, for them to repent of their sins, to return to Me and to come back to My Church. If they do this, their cities will be spared in the same way that the Father spared Nineveh.
Time is short so now is the time to leave the darkness of sin and the ways of Satan and to return to the light of My Kingdom and become My disciples. I am waiting for their return.
I am not the one who destroys cities, but it is sin that disrupts nature and causes all kinds of havoc. The sin of Adam and Eve, who were tempted by the devil, caused a great disruption in nature.
You hear often of floods, earthquakes, tsunamis, hurricanes, fires, tornados, etc. and they cause a lot of damage.
Repent today so that these do not come upon your cities to destroy them. Pray, My friends, that the people will have a change of heart and come back to Me. I bless you all.

Son, I wish people to know that:
My work of intercession in their behalf has not waned through all these years
and yet will be given a boost should they assist me with their own intercessory
prayers. A disciplined prayer life is the right formula to ward off the
attackers from the unseen world, that is why I cannot under emphasize its vital
importance in your day to day walk with my Son Jesus. Without sufficient
prayers, the light in the spirit gets dimmer and when prayer is totally
neglected due to some other preoccupations of the mind, the power to resist sin
goes weaker too. That is why prayers are indispensable in your life's journey
towards eternity.

Jesus
I am always with you, dear apostles. You move through your days of service learning greater and greater lessons in holiness. I am the teacher.
When you offer Me your day, you pledge to remain with Me throughout it. This in no way diminishes the need for you to experience your humanity with all of its joys and sorrows. On the contrary, it is through your daily joys and
sorrows that you are learning the lessons of love. You might think that
your cross is heavy and perhaps in truth the cross that you carry is
heavy.
You might think that you would proceed more easily or more swiftly
without
the cross. This is possible, My friends, but to what purpose? Surely,
I,
Jesus Christ, could have advanced more quickly and comfortably to
Calvary
without the jeering of the crowds, the physical infirmities or the
weight
of the cross. This is an obvious statement. But you were destined to be
saved by My Passion. The whole world benefited by My decision to accept
God’s will, which included suffering. In the same way, the world is
benefiting from your decision to accept the crosses in your life. You
offer
Me your day. This is such a simple thing from the eyes of the world and
yet, from the eyes of heaven, this is a very large offering indeed. Do
not
be afraid of the cross in each day. Do not think that your cross will
interfere with the plan that I have for you. The truth is the opposite.
The
plan that I have for you includes suffering, and your holiness will
increase because of your crosses. I do not rejoice in the suffering of
My
friends. No, I do not. I do rejoice in the willingness of My friends to
suffer, for Me and with Me. This will never change. My gratitude toward
each of My beloved apostles increases as each day’s commitment flows
into
the past. A stream of allegiance pledges trail behind you as you
proceed
into tomorrow. Be at peace in your crosses, I beg you, because your
crosses
benefit you in ways that you cannot understand. It must be enough for
you
that the Saviour understands. If you are weary, do not be afraid. You
will
have what you require to cope and I will sustain you. I was weary,
also. If
you falter, do not be discouraged. I faltered, also, and I will lift
you
back to your feet. There are no circumstances that should cause you to
be
anxious because just as you pledge your allegiance to the Father, I,
the
Saviour, pledge My allegiance to you. I will take care of you, My
beloved
ones. You will not be abandoned.

Son, let me say these:
On the eve of this New Year, let me share some fresher news of hope for the
world.
Look to the New Year with optimism. Why worry about what you hear about the bad
news. Will worrying add something good to you? Take one day at a time. This
day, make a personal inventory of what you think must be amended in your lives.
Write them down. Search your heart and ask what any particular area needs
improvement. Then in the coming year, and with the invocation of the Holy
Spirit, prayers, worship and meditation on my words, resolve to change. I will
help you if you humble yourself and acknowledge your weaknesses. Then Pentecost
will happen again. You will be born again of the spirit- the spirit of truth,
love, hope and peace. The doors of opportunity will be opened, more powerful
this time but of course your free will choice can never be discounted. Choose
wisely and live the best years of your life, tribulation or not for as long as
you have the Spirit of God in your life, there is no fear but the enjoyment of
the fruits of a spirit filled life will reign supreme as I reiterate in spite
of circumstances.

At Adoration, 4:15 p.m.
"My dearest little child, be at peace now for a visit here in My Presence. I,
your Jesus of Mercy, have given you mercy tonight. It is such an important part
of your healing, that you sit quietly, as you are, and allow Me to empty the
things of the world and fill you with My gifts and strength. You are correct,
little servant of My Father's Will, all those who serve Me must be totally
dependant on Me for all your needs! It is what I did with Mary and Joseph, as
we had nothing of the world's goods and usually very little to eat. Of course,
the Father provided meager work for Joseph, who provided simple furniture with
the wood he was able to buy. We had nothing extra, only the needs of each day at
the last moment, a lamb as My pet and companion, a few goats and a spinning
wheel on which My Mother could weave cloth for our simplest garments. It was
always enough, although We were often hungry, and ate only once a day. We were
happy and content in each other's company. I learned to help Joseph as I grew,
and always assisted My Mother in whatever she requested.
We spent much time each day in prayer and gratitude to the Father, reading
Scripture that was also My school Book that I learned to read at My Mother's
knee. She would explain each Book of the Bible to Me, especially the references
that dealt with My own life and mission to the world! The Holy Spirit, her
Beloved Spouse, was most present in these words and in her teaching. We would
discuss each passage and give thanks to Our Father God for our time each day
with these Sacred stories that enriched us with the meaning of life and gave us
a deeper understanding of our ancestors, as well as all that would unfold for
us, given through the Prophets.
The days were full of work and prayer and quiet reflection as well, pondering
all that was explained and allowing these words to be the foundation and
formation of My life and further enrichment for Joseph and dearest Mary, My
Mother. We learned to sing songs of praise to the Father each day and later
would add our own words of thanksgiving to her melodies. My Mother was gracious
to the neighbors, who were often unkind to us, mostly because of the enormous
poverty in which we lived. Joseph was brave in the face of ridicule from them
for spending less time working than they thought he should in order to have more
time for prayer and teaching for Me. He, too, was well-schooled in the words of
Scripture, and together My earthly parents would follow the prompting's of the
Holy Spirit in their discipline and loving ways with Me.
I grew quickly in stature and understanding of My special mission to the
Father's Will, and had the deepest, most tender love and obedience for both of
these earthly parents I had been given. As I grew older, it was the order of
our day to speak with great respect for each other, always seeing to the needs
of the holy Mother and she for us. We never spoke more than was necessary. As I
advanced in wisdom and age, I began to be most eager to begin My mission of
proclaiming My Father's Kingdom and calling all to the repentance preached first
by My cousin, John. This was the focus of our lives and when dear Joseph was
taken from us in death, we understood that this time was closer than ever. There
was always the most profound peace in the house of this little family.
Reflect on My words, dear ones who read, and grow in stature with Me and the
words of Sacred Scripture, learning what you would learn from the Holy Spirit
about your own lives, and then come to know Me better with a more intimate
knowledge of My teachings and love for My Father's Will for Me and thus for you,
that left you with Sacraments and gifts to help you follow on the path I trod by
accepting each event that developed in My public life and sacrifices, and
ultimately My Passion and Death and Resurrection from the dead: all My words to
all My disciples and followers.
It is your life, too, My dearest disciple and all my followers today, just as it
was for Me in My time on the earth. I invite you to new wisdom and
understanding, new obedience and fidelity to Our Father's Will and all He calls
you to be through My Life in these critical days in your salvation history! I
bless each of you at the beginning of this New Year on the glorious Feast of the
Solemnity given to Mary, now 'Our' Mother, according to the schedule of feast
days in the yearly calendar of My Church, the holy Roman Catholic Church. Amen,
My dear ones. As you pray, 'Come, Lord Jesus,' I say to you,
'Come and learn from Me, for I am meek and humble of heart!' Little one, you
have done well taking all My words and are now filled with the gift of My peace.

This morning of December 30, 2007 Jesus gave His First Luminous Mystery Teaching
for the Little Children's Rosary where He speaks on Baptism .
In the meditations given for the Children's Rosary a teaching is chosen to
give to the parents to help them have a better understanding of the rosary to
help their children. Today Jesus gave Fr. Melvin a teaching for the parents to
help the children have a better understand of Jesus meditation given to Patsy
Soto. The teaching's given today from Jesus to Fr. Melvin and Patsy Soto were
on the Holy Sacrament of Baptism.

First Luminous Mystery
Jesus Baptism in the Jordan
Here, as Christ descends into the waters, the innocent one who became
“sin†for our sake (2Cor 5:21), the heavens open wide and
the voice of the Father declares him the beloved Son. (Mt. 3:17)
My Beloved little children today I will first begin to speak to you of sin.
When someone does something that is wrong like taking something from someone
without their permission or telling something that is not true and you know it
is not true, this is a sin. God the Father who created all, created a man and
a woman who were the first to come into this world and their names were Adam and
Eve. They were given a choice to obey God the Father, but just as sometimes
you make the choice not to listen to something your parents have asked of you,
Adam and Eve did not listen and committed the first sin. This caused God the
Father to give them a punishment, just as you would be given for being
disobedient. As they were the first parents on this earth, their punishment was
not only for them but would be for every child that comes into the world. You
may not think this was fair, but God the Father, did this to show how serious
it was to be disobedient. God the Father also created every human with a soul
and in the beginning Adam and Eve’s soul were pure and not stained
with sin. But their punishment was that every child now would come into the
world with original sin on their soul. This my little children is why God the
Father asked Me your Jesus of Mercy to come into this world to die for all
children so that original sin could be removed from the soul by the Holy
Sacrament of Baptism. When a child is born into this world the nurse will take
the child from it’s mommy and place the child in a little blanket
wrapped tightly around the child to keep the baby warm, than the nurse takes
the baby to have it’s first bath and washes the baby clean, getting
the baby ready to meet all their new family.
As I told you, every child is born with a soul and few weeks later the family
brings the baby to the church where they are then placed in a baptismal font
which looks like a small bath tub. This is how original sin is removed from the
soul, it is the First Sacrament given and just as you had your first bath to
wash away all the little things that made you feel uncomfortable, at your
baptism, you have your First Holy Sacrament which washes away original sin from
your soul. The priest pours water over you and says the words, “I
Baptize you, (and saying the name of the child), also says, in the name of the
Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. These words being said while
pouring the water over the child, takes away original sin. This mystery of the
Luminous Mysteries tells about My Baptism, which is a different baptism, in
that mine was a Baptism of Repentance. When I came to John the Baptist at the
river Jordan and got into the water, this was My Baptism of Repentance, which
means My Baptism was to be offered for the repentance of all sinners. If one is
baptized at an older age, then all the sins committed by that person plus
original sin are all taken away through the Holy Sacrament of Baptism. Now my
little children, I have promised you that I will be with you each time you say
your daily rosary and God the Father promises that your prayers will save many
souls so lets start now with One Our Father, Ten Hail Mary’s and One
Gloria. Please remember My precious little children that I will wait every day
for this special time that you come to spend with Me and pray your rosary I
love you, your Jesus of Mercy.

I am the light
Reading: Matthew 2:13-15
Dear friends,
Behold the angel of the Lord appeared to Joseph in a dream and said, Rise, take the child and his mother, flee to Egypt, and stay there until I tell you. Matthew 2:13
We will have one hour of prayer in the prayer room from 11:00 p.m. to midnight tomorrow evening to thank the Lord for all He has done during 2007 and to ask for His help and protection for the New Year. It will also be a time of
reparation for all the insults hurled at Jesus during the past year.
My half-hour of prayer was spent with Our Lord Jesus to praise and thank Him for
all the graces and help He gave us during the year that is slipping away. He
said, "Melvin, My brother and sharer in My priesthood, I love you. I bless and
welcome all My brothers and sisters who wish to spend time with Me in prayer. I
always wait for your visit every day.
The evil one was after Me right from My birth, desiring to destroy and eliminate
Me from the face of the earth. He used King Herod as his instrument by sending
his army to Bethlehem to kill all the male children less than two years of age.
My Father in heaven made sure that these soldiers would not find Me. He sent an
angel who appeared to Joseph in a dream to tell him to flee to Egypt with My
Mother and Me. That very night he prepared everything and we fled Bethlehem
toward Egypt. I was not welcomed in My homeland even though I was just an
infant. I had to go and live in a strange land. When it was time, the angel came
back to Joseph in a dream to tell him that the King was dead and so we could
return home.
The devil, the master of the darkness in the world, wanted to get rid of Me but
he would not succeed until My hour had come. However, I used this hour to offer
My supreme sacrifice to My Father in heaven for the salvation of the people in
the world. Through My sacrifice I defeated the evil one and My Kingdom was born.
I am the light who chases away the darkness spread by the enemy. His hold on the
world is diminishing every time a person turns to Me, repents of his sins and
enters My Kingdom. All enter through the doors of My Church through baptism.
Call everyone to enter the Kingdom prepared for you and there will be peace in
the world. I love you and bless you."

MESSAGE FROM THE FATHER December 31, 2007

Son, kindly take note of what I wish to tell people today.
My creation, this is your Father. I created you in my image and likeness,
breathed life into your nostrils and sent you to populate the whole world. You
have grown much in number as many as the stars in the sky but how many of you
know and acknowledge me as your Creator? You may say, I heard of you O God but
then why do you not listen to my admonition which are meant solely for your good
and not mine as I have everything I want. Do not question why I say you must do
what I tell you.
Obey first and in your submission, you will find out at the end that I never
led you astray. You will find out that the way I led you into leads to my
Kingdom of everlasting peace and happiness unequal to any semblance of them in
your earth life. Then later, you will know with full understanding why I said
you must do for at first I subject you to a test on whether or not you will obey
my words. You can exercise your free will choice and look the other way and
that is alright but you will never know what you might have missed.
Again I say, I am not depriving you of your free will choice to obey me or not.
I hate to threaten and that is against my very nature but stubbornness sometimes
force me to leave my comfort zone as how I reacted during the time of my servant
Moses. I had to be harsh sounding then for that is what would bring my chosen
people into the direction I designed for them, a glorious one should I say, but
should there be no need to apply the iron hand to help people find the true way,
I prefer to be known as a Father of love, mercy, forgiveness, slow to anger,
kind, generous, patient, humble and meek and never a God of wrath and
destruction. Punishment is my last recourse, mercy and salvation my priorities.

DESIRES ARE PLACED IN HIS HEART AND TO THE DEGREE THAT IT SHALL BE OF GOD'S

I desire that priests proclaim this great mercy of Mine towards souls of sinners. Let the sinner not be afraid to approach Me. The flames of mercy are burning Me-clamoring to be spent; I want to pour them out upon these souls.
Jesus complained to me in these words, Distrust on the part of souls is tearing at My insides. The distrust of a chosen soul causes Me even greater pain; despite My inexhaustible love for them they do not trust Me. Even My death is not enough for them. Woe to the soul that abuses these [gifts]. (50)
When I spoke about this to Mother Superior [Rose, telling her] that God had asked this of me, she answered that Jesus should give some sign so that we could recognize Him more clearly.
When I asked the Lord Jesus for a sign as a proof "that You are truly my God and Lord and that this request comes from You," I heard this interior voice, I will make this all clear to the Superior by means of the graces which I will grant through this image. (51)

Jan 2 - BECOME MY HERALDS
In this message dated Jan 2, 1989, the Madonna calls us to be her heralds:
My dear children, for this year I especially want to tell you: pray! I, your mother, love you. I want to help you and I need your assistance too. I want you to become, dear children, my heralds and my sons who will bring peace, love, and conversion to others. I want you to be a sign for others. In this new year I want to give you peace; I want to give you love and harmony. Abandon all your problems and difficulties to my care. Live my messages. Pray, pray! (Visionary Prayer Group Jan 2, 1989).
And in Matthew's gospel, Christ sends out the twelve apostles to be his heralds:
These twelve Jesus sent out with the following instructions "As you go, proclaim the good news, `The kingdom of heaven has come near'. Cure the sick, raise the dead, cleanse the lepers, cast out demons. You received without payments; give without payment" (Mt 10:5-8).
Reflection:
"As far as we can discern", wrote the psychiatrist Carl Jung, "the sole purpose of human existence is to kindle a light in the darkness of mere being". Both Christ and Our Lady call us today to kindle that light, to be heralds of God's love and peace.
This is a vital and repeated theme in both scripture and the Medjugorje messages. In the Madonna's weekly message of May 8, 1986, she says:
Dear children, you are the ones responsible for the messages you are the vessels which convey the gifts Each one of you shall be responsible according to your own abilities (Weekly Message May 8, 1986).
We have been charged with a special responsibility by Our Lady, one that can bring her peace to many hearts. At the same time, we are enriched by the grace she mediates to be confident and joyous in helping with her great work.
Application:
This week, share the story of Medjugorje with a friend, a coworker, or fellow parishioner. Could you give a presentation in your parish? Is it possible to form a Medjugorje prayer group? Could you lend someone a book or video on the apparitions?

This year you will face profound changes in your life. Your life as you know it will begin to disappear.
DETACH yourselves from the things of this world and attach yourselves to ME, JESUS CHRIST, THE FIRST AND THE LAST, THE ALPA AND THE OMEGA. It is only I AM who can see you through the changes that are surely coming.
PRAY THE DIVINE MERCY CHAPLET. PRAY THE ROSARY. VISIT ME, I AM IN THE BLESSED SACRAMENT.
Without ME you will be hard pressed to endure what is coming this year. There is little time left. DO NOT DELAY!!! PREPARE. DO NOT DOUBT THIS MESSAGE BUT INSTEAD PREPARE.
