Message From Jesus February 2, 2008

7:05 AM

Son, let me say a few words!

My eventual coming is near at hand. Signs will multiply that will unmistakably point to the fact that fulfillment of prophecy can no longer be denied. I wish to inform my children who patiently wait for my appearance not to slacken

anymore nor lose heart in what you hear but instead trust my words that what I say will be fulfilled.

Jesus King of All Nations to the littlest of His Servants

JESUS KING OF ALL NATIONS JUST JUDGE OF ALL PEOPLE February 3, 2008

I have warned MY people for many years to REPENT of their sins. They have ignored MY pleas and have continued to commit even more hideous sins. All of HEAVEN is filled with the stench that rises from the earth.

MY JUSTICE which has been delayed for so many years must now come. I will strike the nations of the earth repeatedly until evil has been extinguished forever.

MY JUSTICE is coming and when it starts it will not stop until the cleansing is complete.

This is MY FINAL PLEA to MY people. Come to ME and you shall have MY MERCY like never before in the history of the world, turn away from ME and you shall have MY JUSTICE like never before in the history of the world. It is up to each

person to decide. I WILL NOT FORCE YOU TO ACCEPT ME.

There is so little time. The shaking will start soon. The world and all its inhabitants will be brought to their knees. One blow of MY JUSTICE after another. MY children why do you ask for MY JUSTICE? I wish to give you MY MERCY but by your actions you cry for MY JUSTICE. AM I to do nothing as the stench of the filth of your conduct reaches HEAVEN crying out for MY JUSTICE. IT IS MY JUSTICE THAT YOU SHALL RECEIVE!!!

(JESUS seems to be shouting when HE said this). Will you recognize MY HAND in these natural events or will you continue to worship the god of nature by claiming that they are natural. I tell you and warn you that these events will

be so devastating that your pagans (scientists) will be unable to explain them.

REPENT for MY ARM of JUSTICE is falling. REPENT for millions will soon come before ME in JUDGMENT. REPENT for I AM is coming to restore the world to its original design, PARADISE.

REPENT confess your sins so I may forgive them. REPENT so you maybe ready for you know not the hour nor the day I will come for you. REPENT so you may join your SAVIOR forever in the HEAVENLY PARADISE. REPENT so MY MERCY can be poured out upon you. REPENT MY SACRED HEART BLEEDS to see so much sin. REPENT this is your last warning. Know that when these events happen you will know that I AM has begun HIS PURIFICATION. REPENT this is MY FINAL WORD TO YOU.

MY DEAR DEAR PRECIOUS LITTLE CHILDREN,

IT IS WITH GREAT HOPE THAT WE PRAY TOGETHER SO MUCH HAS HAPPENED IN THE WORLD AND HAS CAUSED MAN TO DENOUNCE GOD. MAN DOES NOT FEAR THE LOSS OF HIS SOUL AND RESIDES IN THIS WORLD MUCH LIKE PAGANS. BUT MY SON GAVE HIS LIFE FOR MANKIND AND

SO HIS LIFE WAS NOT GIVEN IN VAIN. THERE IS HOPE FOR THE WORLD AND IT RESIDES WITH THE FEW WHO HAVE CHOSEN GOD OVER ALL THE WORLD. PRAY THEN WITH CONVICTION, TRUSTING THAT GOD'S LOVE AND MERCY WILL COME SOON AND THERE SHALL BE A NEW HEAVENS AND A NEW EARTH.

OH MY LOVES HOW TRULY BLESSED YOU ARE TO HAVE BEEN CHOSEN AND TO HAVE DECIDED FOR GOD.

WHEN YOU COME INTO LENT, MAKE EACH DAY A RENEWAL OF YOUR COMMITMENT AND THEN LET YOUR HEARTS SING WITH JOY AS YOU CONTINUE TO REMAIN FIRM IN FAITH, TRUST AND YOUR COMMITMENT.

THIS IS THE DAY OF THE LORD - REJOICE MY CHILDREN IN YOUR FIDELITY - YOU WILL KNOW TREASURES SET ASIDE ONLY FOR YOU.

NOW WITH TRUE LOVE I BLESS YOU IN THE NAME OF THE FATHER, THE SON, AND THE HOLY SPIRIT. WITH TRUE LOVE PRAISE AND THANK GOD AND DO IT NOW AND FOREVER.

Message From Mother Mary February 2, 2008

7:10 AM

Son, let me say something!

Dear children, your Mother wishes to greet you on this Day of the Presentation of My Son Jesus in the Temple. Candles lighted in my Son's honor bear witness to the symbol which my Son Jesus brought into the world. He is the light of the world. His words dispel the darkness that pervaded man's soul.

Please light a candle for him!

Presentation of Jesus at the Temple From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia (Redirected from Candlemas)

The Presentation of Jesus at the Temple Presentation of Christ at the Temple by Hans Holbein the Elder, 1500-

1501 (Kunsthalle, Hamburg)

Observed by Anglicans Eastern Catholics Eastern Orthodox Lutherans Oriental Orthodox Roman Catholics Type Christian Date 2 February (Western Christianity) 2 February/15 February (Eastern Christianity)

The Feast of the Presentation of Jesus at the Temple celebrates an early episode in the life of Jesus, and falls on or around 2 February. In the Roman Catholic Church, the Presentation is the fourth Joyful Mystery of the Rosary. In the Eastern Orthodox Church, it is one of the twelve Great Feasts, and is sometimes called Hypapante (lit., 'Meeting'). In many Western liturgical churches, Vespers (or Compline) on the Feast of the Presentation marks the end of the Epiphany season. In the Church of England, the Presentation of Christ in the Temple is a Principal Feast celebrated either on 2 February or on the Sunday between 28 January and 3 February.

Scripture The event is described in the Gospel of Luke 2:22?40. According to the gospel, Mary and Joseph took the baby Jesus to the Temple in Jerusalem forty days after his birth to complete Mary's purification after childbirth, and to

perform the redemption of the firstborn, in obedience to Law of Moses (Leviticus 12, Exodus 13:12-15, etc.).

Upon bringing Jesus into the temple, the Holy Family encountered Simeon the Righteous. The Gospel records that Simeon had been promised that "he should not see death before he had seen the Messiah of the Lord." (Luke 2:26) Simeon prayed the prayer that would become known as the Nunc Dimittis, or Canticle of Simeon, which prophesied the redemption of the world by Jesus: "Lord, now lettest Thou Thy servant depart in peace, according to Thy word, for

mine eyes have seen Thy salvation, which Thou hast prepared before the face of all people, a light to enlighten the Gentiles, and the glory of Thy people Israel" (Luke 2:29-32).

Simeon then prophesied to Mary: "Behold, this child is set for the fall and rising again of many in Israel; and for a sign which shall be spoken against? Yea, a sword shall pierce through thy own soul also?that the thoughts of many hearts may be revealed" (Luke 2:34- 35).

The elderly prophetess Anna was also in the Temple, and offered prayers and praise to God for Jesus, and spoke to everyone there about Jesus and his role in the redemption of Israel (Luke 2:36-38).

Name of the celebration

In addition to being known as the Presentation of Jesus at the Temple, other traditional names include Candlemas, the Feast of the Purification of the Virgin, and the Meeting of the Lord.

Its formal name in the Eastern Rite Catholic Churches is the Feast of the Purification of the Virgin. It is known as the Presentation of the Lord in the Roman Catholic Church.

[1] In the Eastern Orthodox Church it is known as the Feast of the Presentation of our Lord and Savior in the Temple or as The Meeting of Our Lord, God and Saviour Jesus Christ.

In the churches of the Anglican Communion it is known by various names, including: The Presentation of Our Lord Jesus Christ in The Temple (Candlemas)

(ECUSA), The Presentation of Christ in the Temple, and The Purification of the Blessed Virgin Mary (Anglican Church of Canada), The Presentation of Christ in the Temple (Candlemas) (Church of England), and The Presentation of Christ in the Temple (Anglican Church of Australia).

It is known as the Presentation of Our Lord in the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. In some Protestant churches, the feast is known as the Naming of Jesus (though historically he would have been named on the eighth day after the Nativity, when he was circumcised).

Liturgical celebration

Presentation in the Temple by Ambrogio Lorenzetti, 1342 (Galleria degli Uffizi, Florence).

Traditionally, Candlemas had been the last feast day in the Christian year that was dated by reference to Christmas; subsequent moveable feasts are calculated with reference to Easter. Prior to the liturgical reforms of the Second Vatican

Council, Candlemas in the Roman Catholic Church marked the end of the Christmas and Epiphany season. The present Roman calendar substitutes the Saturday before

the Baptism of the Lord as the final day of the Christmas liturgical season. If Easter falls early enough, 2 February can occur during the pre-Lenten season (causing the omission of "Alleluia" in the Roman liturgy).

The Western term "Candlemas" refers to the practice found in the Roman Missal whereby a priest on 2 February blesses beeswax candles with an aspergilium for use throughout the year, some of which are distributed to the faithful for use

in the home. In Poland the feast is called "Matka Boska Gromniczna" (Matka Boska, "Mother of God" + Gromnica, "beeswax candle").

Within the Roman Catholic Church, since the liturgical reforms of the Second Vatican Council, this feast has been referred to as the Feast of Presentation of the Lord, with references to candles and the purification of Mary de-emphasised in favor of the Prophecy of Simeon the Righteous. Pope John Paul II connected the feast day with the renewal of religious vows.

In the Eastern Orthodox tradition, the Meeting of the Lord is unique in that it combines elements of both a Great Feast of the Lord and a Great Feast of the Theotokos (Mother of God). It has a Forefeast of one day, and an Afterfeast of

seven days. However, if the feast falls during Cheesefare Week or Great Lent, the afterfeast is either shortened or eliminiated altogether. The holy day is celebrated with an All-Night Vigil on the eve of the feast, and a celebration of

the Divine Liturgy the next morning, at which beeswax candles are blessed. This blessing traditionally takes place after the Little Hours and before the beginning of the Divine Liturgy (though in some places it is done after). The

priest reads four prayers, and then a fifth one during which all present bow their heads before God. He then censes the candles and blesses them with holy water. The candles are then distributed to the people and the Liturgy begins.

The services for the Meeting of the Lord contain hymns composed by many of the great Church hymnographers: St. Andrew, Bishop of Crete (7th cent.); St. Cosmas, Bishop of Maiuma; St. John Damascene; St. Germanus, Patriarch of Constantinople (8th cent.); and St. Joseph the

Hymnographer, Archbishop of Thessalonica (9th cent.)

On the same day, Orthodox Christians also commemorate a wonder- working icon of the Theotokos known as "the Softening of Evil Hearts" or "Simeon's Prophecy." It

depicts the Virgin Mary with her hands upraised in prayer, and seven swords piercing her heart. This is one of the few Orthodox icons of the Theotokos which do not depict the infant Jesus.

It is because of the biblical events recounted in the second chapter of Luke that the Churching of Women came to be practiced in both Eastern and Western Christianity. Though the usage has mostly died out in the West, the rite is

still practiced to this day in the Eastern Orthodox Church.

Some Christians observe the practice of leaving Christmas decorations up until Candlemas.

THREE GENERAL GRANTS OF INDULGENCES

http://www.dominicanidaho.org/indulg.html

Foreword

1. Presented in the first place are three grants of indulgences, intended to serve as a reminder to the faithful to infuse with the christian spirit the actions that go to make up their daily lives and to strive in the ordering of their lives toward the perfection of charity.

2. The first and second grants are a resume of many given in times past; the third, on the other hand, is something altogether new but most suited to the present time when, with the mitigation of the law of fast and abstinence, it is

more than ever imperative that penance be practised in other ways.

3. The three grants are truly general in character, each of them comprising many works of the same kind. However, not all such works are enriched with indulgences, but those only which are performed in a particular manner and

spirit.

An example in point is the first grant, which reads as follows: "A partial indulgence is granted to the faithful who, in the performance of their duties and in bearing the trials of life, raise their mind with humble confidence to

God, adding-even if only mentally -- some pious invocation."

By virtue of this grant those acts only are indulgenced, by which the faithful, while performing their duties and patiently suffering the trials of life, raise their mind to God in the manner indicated.

Acts of this kind, considering the frailty of human nature, are not frequent.

But should anyone be so zealous and fervent as to make such acts frequently in the course of a day, he would justly merit -- over and above a copious increase of grace -- a fuller remission of the punishment due for sin and he would in his charity be able to come to the aid of the souls in purgatory so much the more generously.

The above observations apply with practically the same force to the second and third grants.

4. The three grants are fully in harmony with the Gospel and with the teachings of the II Vatican Council. To illustrate this briefly for the benefit of the faithful, each of the three grants is followed by citations from the Sacred Scriptures and from the Acts of the Council.
