My dearest children, once again I am your God and Father, come to speak to you,
to be with you in this special way. I encourage you to reread and ponder the
words I have given you very recently. (1-20-08)
They are so important to all My people everywhere in your role as leaders for
those who will come to you, for those around you who will not know what is
occurring when the great Warning I have planned for you, the great gift of
seeing your sins as I see them as your God, occurs everywhere in the world.
Again I say, this is central to all of the prophesies given these many years,
for all that you prepare for, all that you have learned to focus on: the
children, the people I will send to you. I remind you again to imagine the
state they will be in; the great neediness; the great, great fear; their feeling
of helplessness and hopelessness. Never could I mention these too often if it
will prepare you better to be ready to receive them, to be ready to be all they
need you to be.
My dear, dear ones, your very immediate future contains events you have expected
for so long. These events will be destructive. These will fulfill many of the
prophesies given by Heaven. It is time to move on in My plans. It is time to
go forward. No one can bear to wait another moment, and yet you are stronger.
You see this, My children. You are more pliable and docile; and you know the
value of these words, of these virtues. You know how much I need this within
you, and have sent you these gifts through experiences for so long. My
children, all I can say is to pray for each other and those who will come.
There will be destructive events soon. Pray for all of those who are involved
in these, for they will not be everywhere; and yet they will touch many, many,
many of Our people and your own lives as well.
My children, be at peace. I pour out the peace of My Son this very day. There
are so many distractions in the world at this time; so I ask you to open and
accept this gift of peace, to nurture it, that it might grow and develop within
your lives, to carry you, to hold you up, to lift you up higher all the while
being a source of that peace to our needy ones. My dear ones, you are all
needy; and so you are a source of peace for each other. Thank you for becoming
so much more thoughtful in your everyday lives and your dealings with each
other. You have indeed done this. You are indeed My mighty ones. How I love
you! How I thank you! How I bless you! My children, you will think of these
times when events do begin; and you will praise and thank Me more then, for you
will realize all it will mean to you at the time.
I love you, My dear faithful ones. I thank you for loving Me and for being
faithful. Do not only desire words of a prophetic or even disastrous nature.
Desire words of peace, My children. Be words of peace, be the peace needed by
the entire world. All is well for you, My children. Pray for everyone in your
country. Pray, for everyone is in danger. Pray, My children, with the great
balance you have developed and accepted between preparedness and fear. Pray and
act and work and be in balance. Amen, little ones. Thank you for being here
and pouring out your hearts. All of heaven rejoices for you and loves you.

Son, please write for me!
My beloved children, I Am your Father, the Father of All Mankind. My
communication with you these days familiarizes you with the fact that your
Father is very much in control of the affairs of the world and has not abandoned
domain to the enemy of the soul.
I wish you to know that hard times are afoot which your Father allows as a
purification process to make you fit for the Kingdom.
Everything that I will allow to happen is designed not to break your spirit and
you lose hope but to take them as a form of discipline from a loving and caring
Father.
For your sake, the time of deep trouble is to be considerably shortened.

My brothers and sisters who are my Father's children because you do His will,
share my joy at your eager anticipation of your long awaited blessings.
Be happy that your salvation thru my blood sacrifice has been accomplished,
however, your perseverance in your faith shall have to be maintained in view of
the delays in the fulfillment of the glorious promises.
Everything has its season. There is the time to sow and the time to reap the
harvest. The harvest season is coming and the harvesters are now standing ready
to do their work.
Be prepared for the time is nigh.

Love casts out fear. Since I came to love God with my whole being and with all the strength of my heart, fear has left me. Even if I were to hear the most terrifying things about God's justice, I would not fear Him at all, because I have come to know Him well. God is love, and His Spirit is Peace. I see now that my deeds which have flowed from love are more perfect than those which I have done out of fear. I have placed my trust in God and fear nothing. I have given myself over to His holy will; let Him do with me as He wishes, and I will still love Him. (589)

Feb 11 - FEAST OF OUR LADY OF LOURDES
Today Our Lady speaks of consecration:
Dear children, today I invite you again to consecrate your life to me in love, so that I can guide you lovingly. It is a very special love that I bear for you, dear children, and it is my desire to lead all of you to heaven, near to God. Understand that this life lasts only a short time in comparison with that of heaven.
That is why, dear children, again today, decide in favor of God. Only in this way can I show you how dear you are to me, and how much I desire that all of you be saved, to be with me in heaven (Weekly Message 11-27-86).
From Exodus, the miracle of water from the rock:
But the people thirsted there for water; and the people complained against Moses and said, "Why did you bring us out of Egypt, to kill us and our children and our livestock with thirst?"
So Moses cried out to the Lord, "What shall I do with this people? They are almost ready to stone me." The Lord said to Moses, "Go on ahead of the people, and take some of the elders of Israel with you; take in your hand the staff with which you struck the Nile, and go. I will be standing there in front of you on the rock at Horeb. Strike the rock and the water will come out of it, so that the people may drink." Moses did so, in the sight of the elders of Israel (Ex 17:3-6).
From a letter by St. Bernadette Soubirous, 1861:
The third time I went, the lady spoke to me and asked me to come every day for fifteen days. She also told me to drink from the stream....She indicated a little trickle of water close by. I went back each day for fifteen days and each time... the lady appeared and told me to look for a stream and wash in it....
Reflection:
As with Moses and the Israelites in the desert, miraculous water flowed from the grotto at Lourdes as a sign of God's healing power and love. In response to this life-giving love, we are called, like St. Bernadette, to consecrate our lives to the Blessed Mother so that, as she says, "I can guide you with love."
In love we can see with new eyes that, "this life lasts briefly compared to the one in heaven," and so Our Lady urges us to prioritize our lives, putting God in first place. "Decide again for God," she says, which will enable her to guide us to peace and eternal life.
The water in the desert and the healing waters at Lourdes both invite us to drink generously of God's grace and love. Only a prayer and an open heart are necessary.
Application:
In our own words, let us tell the Lord, as Mary asks, that we decide again for him. And since Our Lady says to "consecrate your life to me with love," let us do just that using the Prayer of Consecration she gave to us, found on November 24:

Medjugorje Day By Day Feb 10 - LOVE YOUR ENEMIES
"The Most Holy Sacrament is a gift which has proceeded from pure love . . . for no other purpose than to make us understand the immense love that he [Jesus] bears us" (St. Alphonsus Liguori).

Feb 10 - LOVE YOUR ENEMIES
Our Lady speaks of a profound love today :
Love your enemies. Banish from your heart all hatred, bitterness, and judgementalism. Instead, pray for your enemies and call a divine blessing upon them (Locutionists Jelena & Mirjana June 16, 1983).
The Virgin's message is an echo of Christ's words :
But I say to you that listen, love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who abuse you. If anyone strikes you on the cheek, offer the other also; and from anyone who takes away your coat, do not withhold even your shirt(Lk 6 :27-29).
Reflection :
This great love, which encompasses even our enemies is a direct Reflection of divine love. But rather than commenting on it, perhaps it would be more effective simply to see it in action, as others have practiced it in their own lives. The following story is from Ernest Gordon's account of life and death in a Japanese P.O.W. camp on the River Kwai :
Father on, we were shunted onto a siding for a lengthy stay. We found ourselves on the same track with several carloads of Japanese wounded. They were on their own and without medical care. No longer fit for action, they had been packed into railway trucks which were being returned to Bangkok. Whenever one of them died en route, he was thrown off into the jungle. The ones who survived to reach Bangkok would presumably receive some form of medical treatment there. But they were given none on the way.
Without a word, most of the officers in my section unbuckled their packs, took out part of their ration and rag or two, and with water canteens in their ration and a rag or two, and with water canteens in their hands went over to the Japanese train to help them. Our guards tried to prevent us, bawling, "No gooda! No gooda! " But we ignored them and knelt by the side of the enemy to give them and knelt by the side of the enemy to give them food knelt by the side of the enemy to give them food and water, to clean and bind their wounds, to smile and say a kind word. Grateful cries of "Aragatto! " (thank you) followed us when we left.
An allied officer from another section of the train had been taking it all in. "What bloody fools you are he said to me. "Don't your realize that those are the enemy? "
Application :
In prayer today, let us do what Our Lady asks : "Pray for your enemies and call a divine blessing upon them."
