Make your offering every day
Reading: Colossians 1:9-29
Dear friends,
A voice of one crying in the desert: prepare the way of the Lord, make straight his paths.
My time of prayer this morning was spent with Jesus, Our Lord and Saviour. He said, Melvin, My brother and friend, I love you and I love you all, My brothers and sisters, wherever you are. I spent forty days in the desert with My Father and I call you all once more to join Me in spirit. I wish to speak to your heart and to fill you with My gifts.
You are preparing yourself for the great Feast of Easter. You will remember that before the glory of Easter I had to endure the Passion, which ended with My death on the cross. During those hours of My Passion, I suffered very much at the hands of the soldiers. At the end I was cut up all over My body and I was in great pain. I accepted My cross and all this pain for you because I loved you and I wanted you to be reconciled with My Father so that one day you will be with Me in heaven.
I know how you shudder from suffering and pain but I wish to teach you that suffering has a redemptive effect. Many people are converted with great faith and are now My great friends because of My suffering and the suffering of others. Today more than ever, many people need conversion. Many have put Me aside and live without Me. Your sufferings can be meritorious for these people if you offer all your pain, sickness and suffering together with My supreme sacrifice to the Father for these people. They will receive a powerful grace of conversion with the result that they will come and follow Me. Make your offering every day and you will help many people. I bless you with all My heart.

"My very dearest children, I am your God and your Father. I am your Creator, My
children. I love you. I will not hurt you. Remember, My dear ones everywhere
who listen, My justice is My mercy also. I cannot abide sin and always do
nothing about it. There must be a time when sin is answered for. There must be
suffering as My Son suffered. All of you suffer because you follow My Son,
because you are given the events of His life and accept them. Do not be afraid
of suffering. Do not buy into the belief that My love would not chastise. I am
your Father. I am a caring and concerned and loving and giving Father. When My
children do not accept My gifts, then I must do something more to get the
attention of the playful, frivolous, selfish, empty, self-gratifying people in
the whole world. I want you in Heaven. I created you to be with Me in Heaven
to share My life, to share My glory, to share My joy in a way you can never
imagine: in beauty, in a Paradise of utter happiness, all the while balanced
with an understanding of the need to pray for all of the people on the earth.
Pray especially this week, My dear ones, for those who do not think of Me as a
loving, concerned Father Who calls for My perfection, to be whole and holy as I
am. Remember My Son Who would not chastise a bruised reed. We are here to heal
you. We call you to the beauty found in unity with your God that requires a
certain behavior on earth. The beauty of Paradise is a gift for the past
behavior of the people who are there now.
Do not be frightened, My children, by words of warning, words of preparation.
Give your fears and your doubts to your Triune God, to the Holy Mother, to your
dear ones in Heaven who pray for you, who are with you, (through prayer and
their love.... cta.) who bring you their strength, their first hand knowledge of
My goodness. My dear ones, everything that needs to be said has been said. It
is up to you to be open to the gifts I continue to pour out upon you, to the
help of My Spirit, to the tenderness and beauty and love of My Son, to My Mercy,
to the gentleness and strength of the Holy Mother. Holiness is found in many
different people. Do not put your own conditions on them or on Me.
My dear children, how I love you! How I want you to succeed and to know the
peace, the true peace of My Jesus that only accompanies peaceful actions,
peaceful words, peaceful thoughts, true sanctity. It IS possible to live My
commandments, the Beatitudes, the joy of your God. You are mighty, My dear
ones. Remember the backbone of steel that you are called to accept. It is
balanced with tenderness and hope, always, My children. Be hopeful and remember
the promise to give your loved ones the gift of salvation as you remain
faithful, not praying in fear but in trust, in gratitude for all of My promises.
Although there are destructive events in your future, you will be protected from
them according to My Will, and remember, remember, remember the joy of Heaven;
that I wait for you with open arms to forgive you, to give you the strength to
continue, always in new holiness as a new creation, always more deeply held in
My Will. My Will for you, My children, is victory. The victory of the Cross,
yes, but the victory of Paradise and the Kingdom on earth as it is in Heaven.
Amen, My children. Stay close to the Holy Mother. She is YOUR Mother. Allow
Her to be a Mother to you. Stay close to your God and the might of My arm.
Amen, My dear, dear ones. I count on you. Count on Me, My children. Amen."

Thankyou my beloved little one and My Beloved Katherine, for opening your
hearts for My Words. My little one the words shared of My Novena For World
Peace Cruise give beautiful testimony to the little gifts of My Love I share
with those who willingly give their fiat to answer our call. But not only do I
give gifts to those of My children who give their fiat but I give many gifts of
my love to all the children of the world. Unfortuneaetly many do not accept My
Gifts My Love. Open your hearts My children to see, to know how much I love
each one of you. Do not close your hearts to My Love! Do not close your hearts

Open My little one to John 15:1?25
Dear Ministry Members,
Patsy has asked me to write up a little note sharing about my most recent
NFWP on the cruise throughout the Carribean. It can be hard to share personal
experiences, but since Jesus asked for this, here it is.
Frankly, I had no interest in going on the cruise, as some in my prayer
group will tell you. I blurted out at prayer group one day, " I want you to
know I don't want to go on this cruise. " I hate swimming, I hate feeling hot,
and I do not lay in the sun." I think they were amused somewhat. Also, I was
afraid of getting seasick, as I have been seasick once before on a deep-sea
fishing boat.
About one week before we were supposed to leave on the cruise I woke during
the middle of the night with asthma, for no apparent reason. It got
progressively worse, even though I use daily inhalers. I called the Dr. and
explained my situation and he gave me additional medication. It didn't seem to
help much either and only kept me wide awake at night. By Friday when I had to
catch my plane, I told Jesus that if I had trip insurance I surely would stay
home, but since everything was all set I just had to TRUST that he would see me
through it.
I was traveling alone since my husband had already flown down earlier in
the week for a business trip. I went through security and sat down, out of
breath, and needing to put my shoes back on, etc. Suddenly I could hear someone
in the corridor playing AVE MARIA on a harp. It was very beautiful and I smiled
thinking about how Our Lady was welcoming me and taking care of me. I felt
calmer and more reassured.
Now it is time to board the plane and I remember with chagrin that I have a
middle seat. When I checked in I was assigned to the middle seat. I asked the
attendant to help me change it because there was only one seat left on the plane
and it was a window seat, which I wanted. We tried two times to change my seat
assignment, but the computer wouldn't change it. Oh well, I thought, Jesus
wants a small sacrifice here, so let's just forget it. I board the plane and as
I walk down the aisle reading the numbers, I see that someone is sitting in my
seat. Oh great, I thought, they have overbooked the plane. Then the gentleman
sitting there sees me double checking my ticket and he explains that if I would
like we can switch seats because he would like to sit next to his friends.
Thank you Jesus, I am getting an aisle seat! I take my seat and wait. I am
totally exhausted and my chest feels like it has a vise around it. I am grumpy
too. I decide to close my eyes and ignore everything around me and pray. I
complain to Jesus again, and I tell him that I am grumpy and not feeling well,
and besides that I can't sleep because of the medication, but I desire to unite
it all to Him and His Holy Cross as a small sacrifice for souls. Tears flood
into my eyes and now I'm telling Him not to let me cry in front of all these
people, because they will think I'm a nut. Thankfully He answers my prayer and
the tears dry up. He is always taking care of me.
Fast forward several days. Our first port of call is Key West, Florida.
My husband and I decide to go onshore and look around, like tourists do. We
take the shuttle into town and it drops us off in a small town square, very
touristy. In my prayers that morning, I ask Jesus to guide us to do His will,
to be where we need to be, to say what we need to say and to just surrender to
His Holy Will in all things.
Immediately, we notice an old brick building with cast iron busts of
historic figures in the courtyard. What is that? We walk around and we notice
the bust of a nun. Who is she? We walk up to the plaque and read about her.
Sister Gabriel built a grotto to Our Lady of Lourdes to protect Key West from
hurricanes, and Key West has been spared from hurricanes ever since. Where is
this grotto we wonder? After asking around, we find that it is within walking
distance, so we start off. We arrive at exactly 10:30 and Holy Mass is just
beginning!
It is a beautiful church and the Holy Mass is wonderful.
The opening prayer states, "All-powerful and ever-living God, direct your
love that is within us, that our efforts in the name of your Son may bring
Mankind to unity and PEACE." The Mass continues and my ears perk up when I hear
this reading from the holy Gospel according to Matthew 4 12-23, "As he was
walking by the Sea of Galilee, he saw two brothers, Simon who is called Peter,
and his brother Andrew, casting a net into the sea; they were fishermen. He
said to them, "Come after me, and I will make you FISHERS OF MEN." Thank you
Jesus, for the confirmation, I pray. Holy Mass continues and during the
collection they play and sing the same song we sing to Our Lady of Guadalupe,
only with different words. Thank you Jesus, for this confirmation. At the
closing the choir begins to sing, "let there be PEACE on earth, and let it begin
with me". Wow!
Now Holy Mass is over and people are leaving. I decide to look around the
church for a short time as it is very beautiful with many beautiful statues and
pictures. The church is called St. Mary, Star of the Sea and the grotto is just
outside. I take lots of pictures. The statues are very old and heavily
lacquered, very shiny. I take a picture of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel and then
decide to take another. As I am snapping the picture I believe I see Our Lady
raise her eyes to look at me. I look intently at the statue, but no, nothing
different that I can see.
My husband and I go outside to visit the beautiful grotto to Our Lady of
Lourdes and then we have to leave in order to be back on ship for the prayers.
Later, as I am looking at the pictures on the camera, I can clearly see
that the second picture I took of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel is indeed very
different. I am excited to show Patsy, and without telling her anything about
what I saw, she tells me that Our Lady came alive in the statue for me!
As you can imagine, this was a very memorable day for me. I felt
definitely that Jesus and Our Blessed Mother wanted us to be there.
Each day was special in its own way. We attended Holy Mass in the ship's
small chapel and Fr. Doucette and Fr. Moreno celebrated Holy Mass for us each
day. We prayed the Rosary and Divine Mercy, just like you all do. We had the
opportunity for spiritual direction and the Sacrament of Reconciliation with two
beautiful priests, Fr. Doucette and Fr. Moreno. It was just a beautiful time of
sharing, worshipping and being with Our Lady and Jesus. Very special!
In close, I would like to share with you one other very special event. One
day, at the end of the day, there was a very intense and beautiful sunset on our
side of the ship. I asked Jesus if He was going to give us the "miracle of the
sun" and immediately I could see it. The Host obliterated the sun and the
colors danced around it. I called my husband to come and he too could see it.
It was so steady at one point that I thought perhaps we weren't seeing the
"miracle of the sun" any more. We were looking directly at it for quite some
time. When, in answer to my doubt, a lady on the next balcony said out loud, "
wow, the sun is blazing!" So, yes, we were seeing it.
I am sharing these small, little blessings and confirmations with you to
enrich your faith. I was able to see and hear these signs. But more important
are the many blessings, graces and healings that are given that we cannot see.
Blessings, graces, conversions and healings that are given because of the
completion of the NFWP and because of the many sacrifices that you the ministry
members made in order for it to take place. Jesus gave the little signs for me
to share with you because you were a part of the NFWP, even if you weren't
physically present.
I pray that this small testimony will inspire you to attend, support or
have a Novena for World Peace in your city. I offer you these quotes from
Mother Angelica's book, Mother Angelica by Raymond Arroyo, "Do whatever the Lord
tells you to do. Do what He inspires you to do. If He wants it, we do it. And
we do it no matter what it takes. Let's begin and see what happens."

Pray, My children
Reading: John 8:21-30
Dear friends,
I lift up my eyes toward the mountains; whence shall help come to me My help is
from the Lord, who made heaven and earth. Psalm 121:1-2
I spent a half-hour in prayer this morning with our Heavenly Father. He said,
Melvin, My son, I love you and bless you. I love all My sons and daughters on
earth and I call you to listen to My Son Jesus. I have created you to know Me,
love Me and serve Me in the world and to be happy with Me in heaven forever.
I spoke at certain events of the life of My Son Jesus and one of those events
was the Transfiguration. I expressed to the Apostles present My love for My
Beloved Son and I called upon them and today I call upon all those who believe
in Him to be attentive to Him. He is your only Saviour who has the words of
eternal life. He is the truth, the way and the life. No one can come to Me
unless they pass through Jesus, My Son.
My Beloved Son called you all to join Him in the desert. He wants you to detach
yourselves from the world with all its temptations and sins. Come apart for a
while to repent of all your sins and to enkindle your love for Him and for Me. I
want you all on fire with the Holy Spirit to accomplish the work you are called
to do. Do not be afraid to be a strong witness of your love for My Son and to
call everyone to enter His Kingdom. It is time to wake up and return to your
Father who provides for you every day.
Soon you will see My new initiatives, which are about to begin in the world. I
have chosen many to be part of these initiatives so that a new era may begin.
Pray, My children, that you will be part of this great work born in the power of
the Holy Spirit. I bless you all.

Feb 20 - OPEN YOURSELVES TO THE HOLY SPIRIT
Regarding the Holy Spirit, Our Lady once said :
Dear children, this is a time of grace. Open yourselves to the Holy Spirit that he may make you strong. Your Mother, dear children, calls you especially to prayer and sacrifice during this time (Visionary Prayer Group June 1, 1990).
In Galatians, Paul speaks of the fruits of the Holy Spirit :
By contrast, the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, generosity, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. There is no law against such things. And those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. If we live by the Spirit, let us also be guided by the Spirit (Gal 5 :22-25).
Reflection :
Isaac Hecker, the founder of the Paulists, once wrote : "The whole future of the human race depends on bringing the individual soul more completely and perfectly under the sway of the Holy Spirit." This Spirit is always at work within us, gently transforming us into the likeness of Christ and imbuing us with the gifts of peace, kindness, faithfulness, and the other virtues of which Paul speaks today.
These traits are not the reward of our own spiritual achievements-the most we can do is open ourselves radically to God-but are pure gifts from the Holy Spirit. Pope Leo XIII wrote, "Whatever we are, that we are by the divine goodness; and this goodness is especially attributed to the Holy Spirit." But because our God possesses infinite generosity and love, he will fill with the Spirit any emptiness within us, if it has been emptied for him.
Application :
"Every time we say, `I believe in the Holy Spirit," writes J.B. Philips, "we mean that we believe there is a living God able and willing to enter human personality and change it." Today, pray for the gifts of the Holy Spirit, as Our Lady urges us, for she has said, "When you have the Holy Spirit, you have everything."

Feb 19 - I FORGIVE EASILY
Of prayer and forgiveness, the Blessed Mother said:
Dear children, I , your Mother, love you, and so I urge you to pray. I am tireless, dear children, and I call you even when you are far from my heart. I am a Mother, and although I feel pain for each one who goes astray, I forgive easily and am happy for every child who returns to me (Weekly Message 11-14-85).
As Our Lady forgives with joy, so her Son enjoins each of us to do the same:
Then Peter came and said to him, "Lord, if another member of the church sins against me, how often should I forgive? As many as seven times?" Jesus said to him, "Not seven times, but, I tell you, seventy-seven times" (Matthew 18:21-22).
Reflection:
Once, the Duke of Wellington was about to pronounce the death sentence on a confirmed deserter. Deeply moved, the great general said, "I am extremely sorry to pass this severe sentence, but we have tried everything, and all the discipline and penalties have failed to improve this man, who is otherwise a brave and good soldier."
Then he gave the man's comrades an opportunity to speak for him. "Please, your Excellency," said one of the men, "there is one thing you have never tried. You have not tried forgiving him." Surprisingly, the general did forgive him, and it worked. The soldier never again deserted.
It might be added here that the other benefit of forgiveness is that, once we have experienced it ourselves, we seem to naturally turn around and forgive others. The effect is, as Our Lady knows so well, peace.
Application:
Pray for forgiveness today and for the grace to forgive another for some hurt in your heart.

In pure love, there is room for everything: the highest praise and the deepest adoration, yet the soul is immersed in Him in deepest peace through love; and the words of people, speaking from the exterior, have no effect upon that soul. What they tell the soul about God is but a pale shadow in comparison to its own experience of Him; and it is often surprised how other people can be struck with admiration at what someone else says about God when, for this soul, it is nothing special, as it knows that what can be put into words is not yet that great. Feb 18 - ON THE WAY TO HOLINESS
Speaking of holiness, the Blessed Mother says:
Dear children, you know that I wish to lead you on the way of holiness, but I cannot compel you to be saints by force. I wish that each of you help me, and yourself, by your small sacrifices. Then I will be able to guide and help you to grow in holiness day by day (Weekly Message 10-9-86).
St. Peter speaks of holiness as well:
Like obedient children, do not be conformed to the desires that you formerly had in ignorance. Instead, as he who called you is holy, be holy yourselves in all your conduct; for it is written, "You shall be holy, for I am holy" (1 Peter 1:14-16).
Reflection:
Holiness means to be devoted or dedicated to God, to be set aside fro his special purpose, and set apart from sin and its influence. We are set apart and different, not blending in with the crowd, yet not being different just for the sake of being different. What distinguishes us are the qualities of God in our lives; our focus and priorities are his.
Growth in these qualities and priorities usually occurs a bit at a time, for holiness is a process. Patience as well as commitment is called for. In the words of Andrew Bonar:
A holy Christian life is made up of a number of small things:
Little words, not eloquent sermons;
Little deeds, not miracles of battle
Or one great, heroic deed of martyrdom;
The little constant sunbeam,
not the lightning.
The avoidance of little evils,
Little inconsistencies, little weaknesses,
Little follies and indiscretions,
And little indulgences of the flesh make up
The beauty of a holy life.

Reflect today on the following:
"The greatest thing for us is the perfection of our own soul; and the saints teach us that this perfection consists in doing our ordinary actions well" (Archbishop Ullathorne).
