Reading: Isaiah 40:1-11

Dear friends,

"The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? Psalm 27:1

My time of prayer this morning was spent with God the Father who said,

"Melvin, I love you and bless you. I hold you in My Heart together

with all My sons and daughters living in every country of the world.

My Heart is full of joy when you open your heart full of love to Jesus

and to your Father in heaven. 

You know that I am everywhere and if you

believe in Me, I am in your heart closer to you than your own breath.

If you live close to Me, there is no reason to fear for I will protect

you.

This is the time of Lent, a time of repentance and of coming close to

Jesus, My Son. He spent forty days in the desert without eating or

drinking and these days were spent with Me. Only at the end was He

tempted by the devil and Jesus rejected him. I call you to fight the

good fight and to defeat the evil one. I am your Father who loves you

and provides for you. I am your Creator who gave you life and all your

gifts. 

With Jesus, My Son, you can defeat your enemy as He did, but

this means that you are always united to Him. Alone you will fail

utterly so do not let the enemy have the upper hand, but keep close to

Jesus, your Saviour.

Prayer is extremely important for a Christian. Without prayer you

cannot call yourself a Christian. Prayer keeps the vital link strong

with Jesus and your Father. 

The relationship between us grows when you

spend time in prayer. Come to prayer every day and know that We are

listening with an open heart to every prayer. Your love for Us will

grow and your faith will also increase. 

For many people, their faith

is very weak because they have abandoned private prayer. During this

time of Lent you need to pray more intensely and to pray more often

during the day. You need to read the Bible and listen to the Word of

Life. You are My children and I love you all. Remain always close to

your Father."

P.S. All the Sunday Masses around here were cancelled yesterday

because of the storm. The roads were not cleared all day. I celebrated

Sunday Mass at the little shrine of Our Lady of Prince Edward Island

but only a few people attended. I celebrated my birthday at home and

in a very quiet way as no one could move around outside. Today I will

go to the Manor to celebrate Holy Mass at 1:30 p.m. It will be

different there now that my mother is no longer there. She passed away

on February 27.

Following The Light Will Guide Us Home To Jesus

At the 8:00 A.M. Mass I prayed for all with special needs and intentions
and made humble offerings to Jesus and Mary.

After an Act of Contrition I received the Body and Blood of Christ through
the Sacrament of Holy Communion.

On my knees I communed with Christ and after thanking Him for His many
blessings, I asked Him to please cover me with His most precious blood before
praying these words; Speak Lord (if it be Your will), Your servant listens.


In harmony with the Gospel about Jesus anointing David, the youngest among
his brothers, to receive God's graces and carry His word into the world and
affirming the Second reading of Jesus returning sight to the blind man, Jesus
sent us a message in the form of a vision.


There was the Star of David in the sky that encompassed nearly all the eye could
see in an upward glance. It Just between the two bottom triangles or points
there was a huge gateway of Light that flowed down upon the earth.

Beneath this
Star of Light were what appeared to be millions of people appearing to be not
much bigger than the size of a small bottle. All were herded together and trying
to move toward the Light. Those in the pathway of the Light were being exhumed
up into the Star of Light. Some were in the dark, yet could see the Light.

Many
were unable to get into the path of the Light, they were in the dark and there
was a huge black line that went very deep into the earth, thus dividing them
from the Light!


From the discernment that Jesus provided to me in that vision, I was able
to liken it to how it relates to all of us in our own lives here on earth. Some
are in the Light while others remain in the darkness.

Yet there are those who
want to get into the Light and need our prayers and help. Remaining in the Light
and loving and helping others is our way to heaven.
