My time of prayer this morning was spent with Jesus, Our Lord and Saviour. During the Easter season I do not spend Fridays in the Passion of Our Lord, but it will start again after Pentecost.
Jesus spoke to me during the early morning in my prayer: “Melvin, My brother and sharer in My priesthood, I love you. I bless and love all My brothers and sisters living in every part of the world.
My very special friends are the elderly, the sick, the disabled and the mentally challenged. Many of them have great faith and they spend many hours a day praying. They have great love for Me, their Saviour, and for My dear Mother.
It is sad that many people today do not want anything to do with these dear friends of Mine. Modern society wants to get rid of them through euthanasia or mercy killing.
What a sinful way to treat your dear parents or loved ones! Not even animals would do such a thing. In the past the elderly were looked upon as people of wisdom.
They had experienced many things during their long life and they could show you what is important to live a fulfilled life on earth. Today modern society prefers to listen to young people who have wild ideas but hardly any experience.
I call you all to show your love for your seniors and those who suffer, and to visit them. I live in the hearts of many of them and they are My great joy.
I wish to remind you that you, too, will be old one day and you might be in a wheelchair. Do not be so selfish as to think only about yourselves, but go and bring joy to those who are in homes for seniors or bedridden at home.
A visit with them cheers My Heart for if you visit them, you also visit Me. They, too, will cheer your heart. I love you all.”

All you who acceptJesus, My Son, as your Saviour are close to Me and I am protectingyou.You have heard that many of My statues in different parts of the worldshed tears. At times blood flows from My eyes. Through these tears andblood, I am sending you a message. The message is this: My Heart achesat what so many people are doing these days. The sins committed todayare an abomination to the Father who created you and takes care ofyou. All the sexual sins and the abortion of the unborn bring tears ofblood to My statues. As usual I spent a half-hour in contemplative prayer this morning. I was with Jesus, Our Lord, and He said, Melvin, My brother, I love you. I embrace all My brothers and sisters living in every country of the world.
If you open your heart to Me, I will fill it with My graces to overflowing. I am the light that leads you to the Promised Land, which is heaven.
Some people abandon Me because they say I do not answer their prayers. They think I am asleep or too busy to listen to them. This is far from the truth.
I hear every prayer and I listen to all your requests. You might ask for material things such as a new car or a new house, but instead I give you the graces to be more spiritual so that you may see that what you need is a closer relationship with Me.
I know what is best for you and that is what I give you in answer to your prayer. The more material things you have, the more you will be occupied with these things and our friendship will suffer.
I want you to seek My Kingdom and all these other things will be given you besides. What good is it to gain the whole world and to lose your soul? Is there anything greater than your salvation?
Seek first the things that are above for they are of much greater value and they will last forever.
I call you all to trust in Me, your Friend and your Saviour. I only tell the truth, the truth you need to know to live a holy life. I am always faithful and that is why I call you to have confidence in Me.
I founded My Church with all the seven sacraments as channels of grace for your salvation. Only My Church can bring Me to you in the Eucharist, the greatest gift you can receive every day.

JESUS ASKS US TO REMOVE THE WALL
At the 8:30 A.M. Mass today at my parish Our Lady Of Sorrows, I made the
6th of the 8 First Fridays for all the blessings that Jesus promises those who
will do so. I offered a rosary for those with special immediate needs in my
family and prayed for all others with special needs and intentions.
After making small offerings to Jesus and Mary, I knelt and asked Jesus to
please cover me with His most precious blood. Then I prayed Speak Lord (if it be
Your will), Your servant listens.
Jesus responded to my plea saying My child Eileen, there is a weighted
heaviness upon My heart that separates many with luke warm faith from Me. Prayer
and frequenting the sacraments deepens one?s faith and tears down that wall, one
brick at a time.I love you as I love all My children. Go in peace to love and serve the Lord. Continue to pray for your brother and sisters.

This coming Monday, April 7th begins the first of the eight consecutive First Mondays (April thru November) in honor of the Sacred Heart of God the Father.
God the Father has asked that we "recite the Sorrowful Mysteries, and you shall go to Confession, receive My Son in the Blessed Sacrament, and obtain healing for your own wounds and for My wounds that you inflict on Me daily.

“My dear ones, on this day I announce to you very simply the devotion to my Fatherly Sacred Heart. I desire that there shall be the First Monday of five consecutive months.
(See the following message from Jesus for the transition from five to eight Mondays) You shall recite the Sorrowful Mysteries, and you shall go to Confession, receive My Son in the Blessed Sacrament, and obtain healing for your own wounds and for My wounds that you inflict on Me daily.
“Through these First Five Mondays of the month, you will receive healing and grace and console My wounded, Fatherly Sacred Heart.
I desire that this devotion be done beginning in April and ending in August…. the First Mondays devotion to my Fatherly Sacred Heart.
“You ask what graces I will give to you through this devotion? I will grant to you pardon and peace through My Son Jesus, and I will protect you from all forms of justice that I shall bring. Your heart shall have peace as I bring you closer to Mine and draw you away from sin.
You shall be able, without question, to surrender yourself to Me and live in My Holy and Divine Will. The graces that I shall give are healing to your hearts and to Mine. When I speak of healing, I speak also of emotional and physical healing, suffering of every kind.
“Amend your ways and help heal My heart. Make reparation to My heart, and I shall heal your wounds. And My wounds shall be healed, and We shall dwell together in the paradise of My Will as One.
The promises and graces that I give through this devotion are limitless, simply because I desire you to return back to Me.

Now that you have, God will increase it to eight months. So it will not end in August. It will end in November. November shall be the end to the eight first Mondays devotion to the Sacred Heart of God My Father.
Therefore, you shall go from April through November from now on.
God the Father wants you to make this devotion to Him, but first He wants you to make the devotion to the other’s hearts and make reparation to all the other hearts, My father St. Joseph’s, My Mother’s Immaculate Heart, My Sacred Heart, and then God the Father’s Sacred Heart.
When you heal one heart, you heal all the others that come after it. So please, make these devotions. Please, there is grace and mercy found in these devotions if you wish to accept it.”

APRIL 4 - YOU WILL ENCOUNTER GOD
In her monthly message for October, 1989, Our Lady said:
"Dear children, today I am also inviting you to prayer.
I am always calling you, but you are still far away. Therefore, from today, seriously commit yourselves to dedicating time to God.
I am with you and I wish to teach you to pray with the heart. In prayer with the heart, you will encounter God. Therefore, dear children, pray, pray, pray." (Monthly Message October 25, 1989).
The conditions of quiet and solitude are needed to pray with the heart. In the gospels, Jesus often withdrew to a place of quiet:
The apostles gathered around Jesus, and told him all that they had done and taught. He said to them, "Come away to a deserted place all by yourselves and rest a while."
For many were coming and going, and they had no time even to eat (Mk 6:30-31).

Ohiyesa, a Santee Dakota Indian, once said:
In the life of the Indian there is only one inevitable duty the duty of prayer the daily recognition of the unseen and the eternal.
He sees no need for setting apart one day in seven as a holy day, since to him all days are God's.
In the past, some of us have suffered from a mentality that tended to reject anything beyond ourselves. Whatever was unseen or eternal remained invisible to us.
We were skeptical, scientific, task-oriented, self-centered, unreflective. It was like racing down a country highway at top speed, hardly tuned in to the rich vitality of life that surrounded us.
When we stopped the car and explored the terrain, we could suddenly smell the grasses, hear birds singing, perhaps see a whole community in an anthill, or watch a darting squirrel.
Quiet prayer or meditation is not something we create on our own. It is largely a matter of shifting our attention, of being open to the spiritual, to the gentle urgings of the Holy Spirit deep with us. We don't need to force it. We need only to quiet ourselves and listen.
Application:
Today, make an effort to live moment to moment with the Spirit of God. Try to spend some time in a quiet place. CONFIRMED: MEDJUGORJE SEER RECEIVES ANOTHER MESSAGE MENTIONING 'SIGN OF THE TIMES'Seer Mirjana Dragicevic-Soldo of Medjugorje has received a second message mentioning "signs." We have verified it through a guide who was present. The visionary, who no longer sees the Blessed Mother every day, receives a monthly messages on the second of every month and the one for April 2 reportedly read:
"Dear Children, I come to you because I wish to show you, by my own example, the importance of prayer for those who have not known the love of God.
Ask yourself if you are following me. My children, don't you recognize the signs of the times? Don't you talk about them? Follow me. As your Mother I call you! Thank you for having responded." One of the eldest of the six seers, who assert apparitions at the famed site since 1981, Mirjana was the first to receive all ten of the secrets designated for each one and in March too relayed a message that for the first time in years seemed to carry prophetic import.That message -- recorded during her annual birthday apparition on March 18 -- read:
"Dear children! In this Lenten time, I call you to interior renunciation. The way to this leads you through love, fasting, prayer and good works.
Only with total interior renunciation will you recognize God's love and the signs of the time in which you live.
You will be witnesses of these signs and will begin to speak about them. I desire to bring you to this. Thank you for having responded to me." The gravity of such language is rare at Medjugorje, where since the 1990s messages have focused almost solely on general spirituality.
Medjugorje - A past message from Our Lady March 25, 1997
"Dear children! Today, in a special way, I invite you to take the cross in the hands and to meditate on the wounds of Jesus.
Ask of Jesus to heal your wounds, which you, dear children, during your life sustained because of your sins or the sins of your parents. Only in this way, dear children, you will understand that the world is in need of healing of faith in God the Creator.
By Jesus' passion and death on the cross, you will understand that only through prayer you, too, can become true apostles of faith; when, in simplicity and prayer, you live faith which is a gift. Thank you for having responded to my call."

This offering consists in my accepting, with total subjection to God's will, all the sufferings, fears and terrors with which sinners are filled. In return, I give them all the consolations which my soul receives from my communion with God.
In a word, I offer everything for them: Holy Masses, Holy Communions, penances, mortifications, prayers. I do not fear the blows, blows of divine justice, because I am united with Jesus.

Strengthen our faith in you, and lead us to love one another in humility. May we who have reborn in one baptism be united in one faith under one shepherd.
