“Let me fill your heart with peace today”
Reading: Luke 19:1-10
Dear friends,
“This people honors me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me; in vain do they worship me, teaching as doctrines human precepts.” Isaiah 29:13 and quoted by Jesus in Matthew 15:8-9
My contemplative prayer this morning was spent with Jesus, Our Lord and Saviour. He said, “Melvin, My brother and friend, I love you. I open My Heart full of love to all My brothers and sisters throughout the world. Come and live in My Heart and you will find joy there.
Take time every day, My friends, to pray with all your heart. Some pray with their lips but their heart is not in their prayer. They go to church because it is a habit and not out of love for Me. Their hearts are taken by material things of the world. They have this consumer mentality, hoping to accumulate more and more things. The world and all it contains will never satisfy your heart. You were made for Me and you will be restless until you rest in Me. Others look for happiness in alcohol and drugs because these things make them forget their troubles. However, soon they are addicted and they become slaves to alcohol and drugs or to both at once. Their situation becomes worse than before and they need help.
It is necessary for all of you, My brothers and sisters, to come to Me and to find your peace in Me. I will fill your heart with My love and remember that I am the giver of genuine peace. There is no true peace and happiness in alcohol and drugs or in material things. In fact the world cannot give you peace, as it is a gift from Me. Remain close to Me through prayer, repentance of all your sins and in loving your neighbour as yourself and joy will be yours every day. Let Me fill your heart with peace today. I bless you.”

Sunday, [April] 28, 1935. Low Sunday; that is, the Feast of the Divine Mercy, the conclusion of the Jubilee of Redemption. When we went to take part in the celebrations, my heart leapt with joy that the two solemnities were so closely united. I asked God for mercy on the souls of sinners. Toward the end of the service, when the priest took the Blessed Sacrament to bless the people, I saw the Lord Jesus as He is represented in the image. The Lord gave His blessing, and the rays extended over the whole world. Suddenly, I saw an impenetrable brightness in the form of a crystal dwelling place, woven together from waves of a brilliance unapproachable to both creatures and spirits. Three doors led to this resplendence. At that moment, Jesus, as He is represented in the image, entered this resplendence through the second door to the Unity within. It is a triple Unity, which is incomprehensible-which is infinity. I heard a voice, This Feast emerged from the very depths of My mercy, and it is confirmed in the vast depths of My tender mercies. Every soul believing and trusting in My mercy will obtain it. I was overjoyed at the immense goodness and greatness of my God. (420)

APRIL 9 - I CALL YOU TO HUMILITY
The Blessed Mother speaks of humility in this message from 1985:
"Dear Children, today I call you to humility. These days all of you have felt a great joy because of all the people who have come here, and to whom you spoke with love about your experiences. With humility and an open heart, continue to speak with all those who are coming." (Weekly Message June 27, 1985).
In this great act of humility, the Creator is baptized by the created:
Then Jesus came from Galilee to John at the Jordan, to be baptized by him. John would have prevented him, saying, "I need to be baptized by you, and yet you come to me?" But Jesus answered him, "Let it be so now; for it is proper for us in this way to fulfill all righteousness." Then he consented. (Mt 3:13-15).
Reflection:
Humility is not to be confused with humiliation, which is really degradation. Humility is simply seeing ourselves as God sees us, weak and prone to sin, yet made in his likeness and image. Apart form God we are nothing, yet with him we are the heirs of kingdom.
This spirit of humility can be gleaned in remarks Florence Nightingale once made about her career:
If I could give you information on my life, it would be to show how a woman of very ordinary ability has been led by God, in strange and unaccustomed paths, to do in his service what he has done for her. And if I could tell you all, you would see how God has done all, and I nothing. I have worked hard, very hard that is all, and I have never refused God anything.
Thoreau wrote that, "Humility like darkness reveals the heavenly lights."" We are called as well to recognize and proclaim that light as it shines in our own lives.
Application:
Today, begin to live Our Lady's message on humility, realizing that it is a virtue that rests upon the knowledge of God and of oneself.

APRIL 8 - THE HOLY SPIRIT IS WORKING IN A SPECIAL WAY
Today Our Lady urges us to seek the Holy Spirit in prayer:
"Dear children, if only you knew how many graces God is giving you. You do not want to move ahead in these days when the Holy Spirit is working in a special way.
Your hearts are turned to earthly things and they preoccupy you. Turn your hearts to prayer and ask that the Holy Spirit be poured forth upon you (Weekly Message May 9, 1985).
The prophet Joel speaks of the Spirit poured out upon mankind:
Then afterward I will pour out my spirit of all flesh; your sons and daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, and your young men shall see visions. Even on the male and female slaves, in those days, I will pour out my spirit. Joel 2:28-29
Reflection:
Rather than speak of God's Spirit, let us today pray to the Advocate as the Virgin recommends, using the following ""Daily Prayer to the Holy Spirit:
"Come Holy Spirit, fill my heart with your holy gifts. Let my weakness be penetrated with your strength this very day, that I may fulfill all my duties conscientiously, and that I may do what is right and just. Let my love be such that I may offend no one, nor hurt their feelings. May my generosity pardon any wrong done to me. Assist me, O holy Spirit, in all my trials of life; enlighten me in your ways, advise me in my doubts, strengthen me in my weakness, help me in all my needs, protect me in temptations, and console me in afflictions. Graciously hear me, O Holy Spirit, and pour your light into my heart, my soul, and my mind. Help me to live a holy life and to grow in goodness and grace. Amen.
Application:
Focus your prayer today on the Holy Spirit, asking for the special graces only he can bestow.

My Children of Humanity,
The day of creation was a blessed one indeed! The day of your salvation was
blessed indeed! The day of your invitation is blessed and ongoing. The day of
Life is now to be had, not that you die and are resuscitated; but it is through
the Death My Son endured that was salvific, redemptive, real, and eternal so
that He would die no more.
You have every port of glory at your fingertips if you but know how to access,
retrieve, utilize and submit. In all of your passion and suffering, even unto
death, you are renewed in Life, not in words but in Truth. Can you not see how
special and savored by Heaven you are?

Message From the Father April 7, 008

Son, the days I am giving words of warning are not too long anymore before the
events start taking place.
Offer your works, joys and sufferings of each day for graces to fill your soul
that nothing is ever wasted and these put to their greatest use.
Bear the mistakes of others with love and a forgiving heart. Pray for those who
offend you. Do not bear grudges against anyone for my peace beyond human
understanding can only descend in your heart when entirely free of bitterness,
hatred, of hurts inflicted by others. Remember, all of my true messengers
suffered the same fate. They were rejected, imprisoned, accused of all manner
of evil yet their vindication and justification is of me the Supreme Judge who
knows everything within the hearts of men. Some people who think they will not
be judged anymore due to their delusional mind will be shocked to find out they
have rejected me and my Son Jesus for the Gospel that they tailored fit to the
state of their soul and which they find easiest to accept for it needs no
sacrifice, no giving of oneself in love, a gospel that is not the narrow way of
the cross but an open wide road to the loss of ones soul.
I have sent my heralds to warn these people to open their minds to the truth of
the genuine Gospel of love but their free will choice to remain ignorant is now
their undoing. Their judgment will be more severe for rejecting the truth that
is presented to them and which needed only a slight opening in their heart to
enter their soul but they rejected me. I do not talk to them. They think they
hear me and thus speak words that neither Me and my Son they presume I conveyed
to them. They have much to answer me for using my name in vain and for leading
people down the path of perdition. How can they proclaim themselves worthy of
my Kingdom when they themselves do not even know the state of their soul? How
can they say that heaven is their guaranteed home when they have already stopped
repenting because they think that I have already accepted them despite their
judgments of others which I forbid, their hypocrisy, presumption of holiness,
their rejection of the Mother of my Son Jesus, their thinking that the true
church of my Son is a bogus church thus their unceasing fault finding, criticism
and condemnation of the faith which they hardly understand.
I tell you then, I have already judged them. Unless they change before the
final curtain hangs down on their lives, my mercy and love may never reach their
souls anymore that their destiny is sealed.
But I AM a merciful Father, the Father of all Mankind.
Whoever comes to me before life is over finally will I not reject but will
accept him into my family.
