The Forgiveness Prayer continued
"Jesus, I forgive my CHILDREN for their lack of respect, obedience, love, attention, support, warmth, understanding; for their bad habits and actions that disturb me, I forgive them.
My God, I forgive my IN-LAWS AND OTHER RELATIVES who treated my family with a lack of love and respect. For all their words, thoughts or actions that injure and cause pain to me and my family, Lord, I forgive them.
Lord, I forgive my EMPLOYER for not paying me enough money, for not appreciating my work, for being unkind and unreasonable with me, for being angry or unfriendly, for not promoting me when I deserved it, and for not complementing me on my work when I did a good job, Lord, I forgive them.
I forgive my CO-WORKERS who are disagreeable or make life miserable at work. For those who push their work off on me, gossip about me, won't cooperate with me, for those who try to make me look bad so they will look good in the eyes of the boss, and try to take my job, Lord, I forgive them.
I forgive my NEIGHBORS. For all their noise, for letting their property run down, not tying up their dogs who run through my yard and do their job on my front lawn, for being prejudiced and running down the neighborhood,
Lord, I forgive them. I forgive my CLERGYMAN, my Pastor or Priest, and all other leaders in my church, other members of the CONGREGATION and my CHURCH for their lack of support, affirmation, bad sermons, pettiness, lack of friendship, not providing me or my family with the inspiration we needed, for any hurts they have inflicted on me or my family, even in the distant past, I forgive them." We have Mary at our side. Just think about the magnificence of Having the Mother of God at your side, pleading God's mercy for you and those you love. JUNE 13 - ACCEPT DIVINE PEACEToday Our Lady asks us to accept and live divine peace:The attitude of the Christian toward the future should be one of hope in salvation. Those who think only of wars, evils and punishments are ill advised. If you dwell on evil, punishment, or wars, you are on the road to encountering them. Rather, your responsibility is to accept divine peace, to live it, and to spread it. (Locutionists Jelena & Mirijana August 1984).And in Colossians, Paul also issues a call to peace:Above all, clothe yourselves with love, which binds everything together in perfect harmony. And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in the one body. And be thankful (Col 3:14-15).Reflection:In the beginning of the apparitions, the Blessed Virgin said: "Through prayer and fasting, you can avert wars and suspend the laws of nature." In a sermon on peace, Fr. Slavko Barbaric stated: "The Lord of Peace enables us to understand the profound importance of peace within our own hearts-for this is how it is spread throughout the world."
The more hearts that live peace, the sooner will it flourish on earth. "Let us therefore," he concludes, "be instruments of peace, for blessed are the peacemakers-they shall be called the children of God.'"Application: In addition to your prayers for peace, strive to be a peacemaker wherever you are today.
