Jelena received the following message intended for the Pope:

In my messages, I recommend to everyone, and to the Holy Father in particular, to spread the messages which I have received from my Son here at Medjugorje. I wish to entrust to the Pope, the word with which I came here: `mir' (peace), which he must spread everywhere.

And here is a message which is especially for him:

that he bring together the Christian people through his word and his preaching; that he spread, particularly among the young people, the messages which he has received from the Father in his prayer, with which God inspires him.

St. Paul charges Timothy with preaching the word:

Proclaim the message; be persistent whether the time is favorable or unfavorable; convince, rebuke, and encourage, with the utmost patience in teaching (2 Tm 4:

Reflection:

Peter and Paul no doubt were the greatest evangelists of the church, converting in turn the Jews and Gentiles of their age. In his second letter to Timothy, Paul charges him to, "preach the word...put up with hardship, perform your work as an evangelist, fulfilling your ministry."

In a similar way, today Our Lady charges the successor of Peter, and all of us really, to evangelize as well by carrying her messages to others. She entrusts to us the message of peace.

As Paul exhorts Timothy, so the Blessed Virgin encourages the Holy Father to "bring together the Christian people through his word and preaching..."

On this feast of two great evangelists, the Mother of God urges us again to spread her messages by our words and by our lives. May the example of Peter and Paul inspire us to active roles in this great work.

Application:

Reflect today on the ways you can spread Our Lady's messages. Possibilities include word-of-mouth, printed material and audio/video cassettes, a program in your home or parish hall, and volunteer work or financial assistance for your nearest Medjugorje center.

This dreadful hour has now begun. Yes, children, it will worsen as storms, winds, rains and lightening increase in severity.

Let Me, your God, find YOU IN PRAYER! The Hour of Wrath IS upon you- - -the entire earth! In the hours ahead you will find no safe refuge except the ones prepared by Me.

Listen and follow Me. My Angels will lead you. My shelters will be the only safe havens for My little ones. Spend these hours in prayer and make ready for the dreadful times that are indeed coming to each and every area of the earth.

I see a small island nation in the Pacific area with a snow-covered mountain. It seems quiet, peaceful and is very beautiful.

Then God the Father spoke, " What you see Miyako is about to feel deep, dreadful tremors with a cyclone. This area wil be no more.

The quake with severe storms, will now move with great speed to all nearby countries. The oceans and land will quiver and great destruction will happen simultaneously. The mighty turbulence of the seas will frighten all humanity.

Winds, of hundreds of miles an hour, will flatten many areas. Lava will flow like rivers of liquid fire.

My words will be fulfilled as all MUST BE and WILL BE cleansed. ATOMIC WARFARE IS NOTHING TO BE COMPARED TO MY WRATH. THE TIME HAS NOW BEGUN.

While there is yet time- - -RETURN TO ME!!! Only with Me can you save your eternal soul. No longer can MY MIGHTY HAND be restrained.

Then Abba Father spoke, "Dear daughter, remind all My people of the vision I gave you of Chile and the message too.  It has all begun!  One day soon the entire west coast of the Americas will change drastically.  Most of it will be no more.

    The mountains there will erupt from volcanoes thus causing earthquakes, tidal waves and powerful aftershocks.  If today you feel the tremors- - - gather your family and pets- - -move on.  I will lead you, as I did Moses, to a land of safety.

    Follow Me, follow My directions!  Safety is for those who follow Me in blind faith.

    These deadly happenings will continue and worsen.  If you want  salvation:  convert, change your life, pray, come follow Me, repent, forgive, obey ONLY Me, although you are in the world- -BE NOT OF IT!

    Waste no time!  Do not hesitate!  These deadly forces of nature could affect your area next.  Heaven and earth will pass away but My word will not pass away!

    Amen, all will be as I have said and very soon!  THE END OF THIS ERA IS NEAR AT HAND!"

Prophecy of St Malachy

Note: This deals with the Latin Rite of the Church

(From the Catholic Encyclopedia 1913 edition-fair use 17 U.S.C. for those in the African Diaspora who would not ordinarily be exposed to such)

The most famous and best known prophecies about the popes are those attributed to St. Malachy. In 1139 he went to Rome to give an account of the affairs of his diocese to the pope, Innocent II, who promised him two palliums for the metropolitan Sees of Armagh and Cashel.

While at Rome, he received (according to the Abbé Cucherat) the strange vision of the future wherein was unfolded before his mind the long list of illustrious pontiffs who were to rule the Church until the end of time.

The same author tells us that St. Malachy gave his manuscript to Innocent II to console him in the midst of his tribulations, and that the document remained unknown in the Roman Archives until its discovery in 1590 (Cucherat, "Proph. de la succession des papes", ch. xv).

They were first published by Arnold de Wyon, and ever since there has been much discussion as to whether they are genuine predictions of St. Malachy or forgeries.

The silence of 400 years on the part of so many learned authors who had written about the popes, and the silence of St. Bernard especially, who wrote the "Life of St. Malachy", is a strong argument against their authenticity, but it is not conclusive if we adopt Cucherat's theory that they were hidden in the Archives during those 400 years.

These short prophetical announcements, in number 112, indicate some noticeable trait of all future popes from Celestine II, who was elected in the year 1130, until the end of the world. They are enunciated under mystical titles.

Those who have undertaken to interpret and explain these symbolical prophecies have succeeded in discovering some trait, allusion, point, or similitude in their application to the individual popes, either as to their country, their name, their coat of arms or insignia, their birth-place, their talent or learning, the title of their cardinalate, the dignities which they held etc.

For example, the prophecy concerning Urban VIII is Lilium et Rosa (the lily and the rose); he was a native of Florence and on the arms of Florence figured a fleur-de-lis; he had three bees emblazoned on his escutcheon, and the bees gather honey from the lilies and roses.

Again, the name accords often with some remarkable and rare circumstance in the pope's career; thus Peregrinus apostolicus (pilgrim pope), which designates Pius VI, appears to be verified by his journey when pope into Germany, by his long career as pope, and by his expatriation from Rome at the end of his pontificate.

Those who have lived and followed the course of events in an intelligent manner during the pontificates of Pius IX, Leo XIII, and Pius X cannot fail to be impressed with the titles given to each by the prophecies of St. Malachy and their wonderful appropriateness: Crux de Cruce (Cross from a Cross) Pius IX; Lumen in cælo (Light in the Sky) Leo XIII; Ignis ardens (Burning Fire) Pius X. There is something more than coincidence in the designations given to these three popes so many hundred years before their time.

We need not have recourse either to the family names, armorial bearings or cardinalatial titles, to see the fitness of their designations as given in the prophecies.

The afflictions and crosses of Pius IX were more than fell to the lot of his predecessors; and the more aggravating of these crosses were brought on by the House of Savoy whose emblem was a cross. Leo XIII was a veritable luminary of the papacy. The present pope is truly a burning fire of zeal for the restoration of all things to Christ.

The last of these prophecies concerns the end of the world and is as follows: "In the final persecution of the Holy Roman Church there will reign Peter the Roman, who will feed his flock amid many tribulations, after which the seven-hilled city will be destroyed and the dreadful Judge will judge the people.

The End." It has been noticed concerning Petrus Romanus, who according to St. Malachy's list is to be the last pope, that the prophecy does not say that no popes will intervene between him and his predecessor designated Gloria olivæ.

It merely says that he is to be the last, so that we may suppose as many popes as we please before "Peter the Roman". Cornelius a Lapide refers to this prophecy in his commentary "On the Gospel of St. John" (C. xvi) and "On the Apocalypse" (cc. xvii-xx), and he endeavours to calculate according to it the remaining years of time.

Note: The Pope numbers given are from a previous work, and do not accord with the official counting of the Vatican. Our current pontiff, Pope Benedict XVI is the 265th Pope. I am unable to explain this discrepancy.

Reflections on Mercy

3-29-08:  "My dear one, I wish you to write for the world your thoughts and appreciation of the unequalled gift of My Mercy to touch the hearts of all who read. you have captured the essence of My Mercy and the great need for it present in every life on earth.

When My Jesus asked you all so long ago to come before Him in His Tabernacle without need or agenda or requests, you did not understand it entirely, but now your perception has deepened and filled with the enormous need and dependence of all My children for the unconditional love and forgiveness and acceptance that only I can give to each of you. This kind of mercy is available to every person in the world, especially the most wounded and needy of My people.

It is My greatest joy and pleasure to give to all who will accept this degree of healing and renewal. It is the only opportunity for most of My people to reach their goal of unity with Me and eternity in My Heavenly Kingdom.

The suffering of many in the world is unbearable and beyond your imagination. Praise and thank Me for your own way of life, all of you who listen and pray, no matter how difficult it sometimes becomes.

My excitement and delight in the increased gratitude and appreciation for My Mercy is what holds back My justice until the last possible second, and gives the opportunity to as many as possible to turn to Me and accept this enormous and oh-so-necessary gift.

Be a product of My mercy and a conduit for the world that encourages more and more of My suffering ones to surrender their defensive and proud postures/positions in order to become instruments of mercy and salvation for the world. Rejoice with Me and all of Heaven that My plan goes forward sooner than you even hope for all you await to become and to live out My Will.

Believe I am your Father and Creator God speaking words of love and encouragement and life to your heart and mind and spirit. You are indeed worshipping Me in Spirit and in Truth, Life and Light. We begin a new level of mutual trust and reciprocal mercy as you live more fully My Perfect Will for you. This relationship must be developed in a quiet way, hidden from the world in perfect obedience on your part.

You have taken a giant leap of faith in accepting My recent words of explanation (on personal healing) to you. Know that this relationship we share is not some lofty way of living, but an even simpler way of life with your own surrender and dependence on Me and My protection.

4-4-08:   God the Father: "My dearest child, be filled with peace for these special days.... The idea of living in community will be a great obstacle to Americans who have such pride of ownership of land possessions!  Those who are able to leave behind their homes and possessions will be the core of life in Our refuges.

It will take enormous trust to do this to follow the Angels into the unknown. I am gifting My faithful remnant with the strength to surrender to all My plans for them, especially the time of total loss of everything. Begin to pray for each other's strength to share all their possessions and then to leave homes and property behind."

These contain  explanations of our times and the beliefs of the Early Fathers and Doctors of the Church from his ability to read and translate and speak at least six languages! 

They will help you enormously to understand the msgs. being given all over the world to messengers of God and Blessed Mother. Fr. Joseph says (as he is on the committee to beatify Luisa Picaretta and strong in understanding of Divine Mercy) 'The Feast of Divine Mercy is the only assurance of a complete remission of sin.' that we know.

As you know, the words of Jesus to Faustina regarding His Divine Mercy Novena are to be read and prayed from Good Friday to the following Saturday before Divine Mercy Sunday and promise the complete remission of all the punishment due to all the sins of those who say these prayers and receive the Sacraments of Reconciliation within eight days before or after the Novena and receive the Eucharist in the state of grace. This gave rise to my increased appreciation of God's Mercy in the gift of this Novena and all of God' perfect Mercy for us.

       In our humanness we inherit the weaknesses that accompany Original Sin, we all sin and carry some tendencies and weaknesses all of our lives. Because we are a sum of the influence and inheritance of our genes from countless ancestors in a process of random selection, we are a composite of behaviors and tendencies over which we must learn to gain control and with God's grace quit a life of sin and vow to remain faithful.

But we don't do a very good job, because of the defenses and anger etc. that build up as a result of how people treat each other. God knows how his people suffer at the hands of each other and even in families and in many cases we are victims of our genes, environment and other's behavior, social level, abuse, neglect, poverty, physical conditions (in later life we are subject to many inherited illnesses,) educational opportunities, rejection and ridicule.

We build defenses; live with anger and sometimes revengeful attitudes or use alcohol and drugs and gambling, know slavery to prostitution. the ease of finding pornography on TV or everywhere, develop bad habits, e.g. lying, cheating, stealing, unkindness, jealousies, even hatred; become abusive to others, mean spirited and impatient, all those kinds of things that so defeat the human race.

       The gift attached to the Novena of Divine Mercy is enormous, and is offered  to everyone who prays and listens to the Heavenly msgs. that call for personal change and prayer for the salvation of the world, or who are familiar with St. Faustina Kowalska's words from Jesus in Poland in the early 1930s. We are weak and spoiled and lazy, judgmental and critical due to the greater influence and attacks of Satan and his demons in the world today.

 This Novena also avails us of the opportunity to fulfill our Easter obligation of Confession and receiving the Eucharist once a year! We learn to trust slowly, but need trust in order to enable mercy (Jesus tells Faustina) in our dysfunctional (my word) lives. Also of great importance is that we influence the decisions of others (for the good!) by our prayers said for them. And remember, the Holy Spirit enables us to know God's Will for us, and helps us in our weaknesses.

He spoke to our Sunday Prayer gathering recently... "Get to know Me. You need Me, and I will be even more important to your future very soon in the Father's Plan of Salvation for the world."  Enjoy the fact that our God knows everything we think and say and do, and how we interact with each other worldwide. 

Don't wait until next Good Friday to begin this Novena of Divine Mercy Chaplets along with Jesus' special requests for each day, but for sure be prepared to begin this journey into the forgiveness we sorely need for all the punishment due our sins, even our forgiven ones, next year and Praise God for His goodness and mercy beyond our imagining. Constant prayer defeats Satan. The way Satan defeats us is to stop our prayer!!

       We are often responding to a conversion call in the midst of chaos, loss, caught up in our own fabrications, hidden life, ego schemes. We find ourselves in a pit, and suddenly yell our heads off for help.  All the grace and conversion and renewal and spiritual progress is a result of God's Mercy and Action in our lives; not our wonderfulness or saintly behavior.

Jesus came to heal the sick, the sinner. He said: 'I did not come for the righteous who have no need of a Savior.' To surrender totally to the Father's Perfect Will for us, we must be emptied totally of the world, of our own will, and accept His plan, His way of cleansing and transforming us: renewing and reforming us into who He created us to be: servant of God and the needy who come to our doorstep to share the sorrow from loss in the lives of so many who have no idea what the Warning they just experienced really was, thinking it's the end of the world.

We are to plead the Blood of Christ over all of them now who come to us then. The more we pray the Chaplet of Mercy, especially as a Novena, the better prepared we become to be compassionate, patient, listening hearts, loaded with God's mercy with all our time, energy and answers we will have from the Holy Spirit. 

Get ready to build up your Mercy Power. Whenever the need presents itself (note the terrible floods and tornadoes and even out of season snowstorms!) that leaves behind destruction and broken people, we are seriously called to be ready for anything. Again, there is nothing we will be unable to do in the Father's plan to give His mercy to everyone who will accept it. Praise God.
