"He [Jesus] could have endured the agony alone.  He could have anticipated

His Passion alone.  Indeed, in the end, this is what He had to do.  But He chose

three to be with Him.  He showed that He did not want to be alone.  He even

came and woke them up, even though He knew that though they were willing in

July 24 - PRAY ESPECIALLY FOR PEACE

In here monthly message for December, 1990, the Virgin spoke of peace:

Dear children, today I call you to pray especially for peace in the world. Offer sacrifices and good deeds for peace, for Satan is strong and tries with all his strength to destroy the peace which comes from God. Therefore, dear children, pray with me in a special way for peace. I am with you and I wish to help you with my prayers and to guide you on the path to peace. I bless you with my motherly blessing, and ask you not to forget to live the messages of peace (Monthly Message October 25, 1990).

And in Luke's gospel, the angels sing of peace:

And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host, praising God and saying, « Glory to God in the highest heaven, and on earth peace among those whom he favors! » (Lk 2 :13-14).

Reflection:

Prayer for peace is one of Our Lady's most frequent requests, and so let's simply take her advice, using a prayer written by Fr. Slavko Barbaric, spiritual director to the visionaries:

O Lord of Peace, we praise and glorify you for giving us your son, Jesus Christ. Through him you have reconciled the world to yourself, showing us the deepest love.

Father, grant us your peace so that we might spread it throughout the world. We place ourselves under your protection and pray for those who are suffering wherever there is conflict. We lift up to you those who are destroying themselves through sin and evil, seeking only the happiness of this world.

Lord of Peace, we thank you for the opportunities for peace you have given us in this new age; help us, in the words of St. Francis, to be instruments of your peace.

Through the intercession of our Holy Mother, may we experience and sing within our hearts the song of the angels: »Glory to God in the highest, and peace to his people on earth. » May we truly live this peace to your glory, and for the good of all our brothers and sisters. Amen.

My people, do not be dismayed by what is happening around you. Know that my love

is sufficient enough to conquer evil and misfortune. All my people must do is

turn to Me and pray to Me. My Father who is in heaven, will see each good action

that you do and turn it into graces for your soul.

My dear people, do not dwell on gloom and doom. Things of destruction have no

place in the kingdom of your God. All things must be centered on hope and

goodness. Never fear the evil that surrounds you. My light can penetrate any

darkness and bring light to any situation that may seem too dark or disturbing

for one to dwell on or understand.

Therefore, my dear people, do not spread lies or rumors of destruction. My love

for you can break you free from destruction if you truly turn to Me and pray to

Me for guidance. The devil knows that those who dwell on these things, violence

and evil, will soon succumb to them themselves, in ways of lost hope and

destruction of soul.

So do not despair about things to come. Instead, center yourself on your God,

who loves you and has called you to be His own.

I am with you, my dear people, listening to your pleas of mercy and giving you

the best possible way to come home to Me.

I love you, my dear people. Go in peace.

GATHER TO PRAY HERE WITH THE MOTHER OF GOD. THE BIRDS SEEM TO SING

WITH JOY AS WE PRAY ADDING THEIR SONG TO OUR PRAYERS. HOW SWEET, HOW

BEAUTIFUL. YOU CAUSE MUCH HAPPINESS TO MY HEART AND THE HEART OF MY

SON. PRAY THEN, WITH THE SAME JOY AND FEEL THE PEACE THAT IS ABOUT YOU.

MY CHILDREN, YOU MUST LEAVE THE CONCERNS INVOLVING THE WORLD TO THE
