Dear Friends,

 

O Lord, open my lips, and my mouth shall proclaim your praise. For you are not pleased with sacrifices; should I offer a holocaust, you would not accept it. My sacrifice, O God, is a contrite spirit; a heart contrite and humbled, O God, you will not spurn. Ps 51:17-19

 

The Lord is blessing us with very fine weather these days. Yesterday it was sunny the whole day. It was windy with the result that there were very few flies around. Today it is sunny again and there is wind.

 

I celebrated Holy Mass last evening at 7:00 p.m. and I will celebrate Holy Mass this morning at 9:30 a.m. in the prayer room. I will be at the Immaculate Conception Church, Palmer Road, this evening for a French Mass at 7:00 p.m.

 

Next Friday, June 20, I will start the retreat on Contemplative Prayer at the prayer room at 7:00 p.m. There will be a Healing Mass on Saturday, June 21, at 3:00 p.m. All are welcome to attend.

 

The Forgiveness Prayer (continued)

 

I forgive those of different religious DENOMINATIONS AND BELIEFS who have harassed me, attacked me, argued with me, those who have tried to force their view point on me or my family. Lord, I forgive them.

 

Lord, I forgive all those of different PERSUASIONS, of opposite political views who have attacked me, ridiculed me, discriminated against me, made fun of me, and have economically hurt me. Lord, I forgive them.

 

Lord, I forgive those who have harmed me ETHNICALLY, have discriminated against me, mocked me, made jokes about my race or nationality, hurt my family physically, emotionally or economically. Lord, I forgive them.

 

Lord, I forgive all PROFESSIONAL PEOPLE who have hurt me in any way. I forgive all service people, especially repairmen who have taken advantage of me in their work. Lord, I forgive them.

 

Lord, I forgive my SCHOOL-TEACHERS AND CLASSMATES of the past and the present. Those who punished me, humiliated me, insulted me, treated me unjustly, made fun of me, called me dumb or stupid, Lord, I forgive them.

 

Lord, I forgive my FRIENDS who have let me down, lost contact with me, do not support me, were not available when I needed help, borrowed money and did not return it, gossip about me. Lord, I forgive them.

Dear Friends,

 

A clean heart create for me, O God, and a steadfast spirit renew within me. Cast me not out from your presence, and your holy spirit take not from me. Give me back the joy of your salvation, and a willing spirit sustain in me. Ps 51:12-14

 

Again I thank the Lord for the wonderful day we had yesterday. It was sunny all day with a nice little wind and the temperature reached 20 degrees Celsius in the afternoon. We are supposed to have another fine day today.

 

I worked at home for most of the day yesterday writing and answering e-mail letters. I had to go for groceries and I received two boxes of rosaries from dear friends in the USA. I will celebrate Holy Mass this evening at 7:00 p.m. at the prayer room.

 

The Forgiveness Prayer continued

 

Jesus, I forgive my CHILDREN for their lack of respect, obedience, love, attention, support, warmth, understanding; for their bad habits and actions that disturb me, I forgive them.

 

My God, I forgive my IN-LAWS AND OTHER RELATIVES who treated my family with a lack of love and respect. For all their words, thoughts or actions that injure and cause pain to me and my family, Lord, I forgive them.

 

Lord, I forgive my EMPLOYER for not paying me enough money, for not appreciating my work, for being unkind and unreasonable with me, for being angry or unfriendly, for not promoting me when I deserved it, and for not complementing me on my work when I did a good job, Lord, I forgive them.

 

I forgive my CO-WORKERS who are disagreeable or make life miserable at work. For those who push their work off on me, gossip about me, won't cooperate with me, for those who try to make me look bad so they will look good in the eyes of the boss, and try to take my job, Lord, I forgive them.

 

I forgive my NEIGHBORS. For all their noise, for letting their property run down, not tying up their dogs who run through my yard and do their job on my front lawn, for being prejudiced and running down the neighborhood, Lord, I forgive them.

 

I forgive my CLERGYMAN, my Pastor or Priest, and all other leaders in my church, other members of the CONGREGATION and my CHURCH for their lack of support, affirmation, bad sermons, pettiness, lack of friendship, not providing me or my family with the inspiration we needed, for any hurts they have inflicted on me or my family, even in the distant past, I forgive them.

"Ever since, with Pentecost, the People of the New Covenant 'began their pilgrim journey toward the heavenly homeland, the Divine Sacrament has continued to articulate their days, filling them with confident hope' (ibid.). Thinking specifically about this, I wished to dedicate to the Eucharist the first encyclical of the new millennium and I am now happy to announce a special Year of the Eucharist. It will begin with the World Eucharistic Congress, planned from October 10-17 in Guadalajara (Mexico), and will end with the next ordinary assembly of the Synod of Bishops, which will be held in the Vatican from October 2-29, 2005, and whose theme will be 'The Eucharist: Source and  Summit of the Life and Mission of the Church.'  Through the Eucharist, the ecclesial community is built as a new Jerusalem, principle of unity in Christ between different peoples and nations."

JUNE 14 - YOU WILL ENDURE EVERYTHING

In the second month of the apparitions, the visionaries have a vision of Christ. Our Lady says to them:

My angels, I send you my Son, Jesus, who was tortured for his faith, yet he endured everything. You also, my angels, will endure everything (First Years July 27, 1981).

Similarly, Paul encourages the Thessalonians in their trials:

Therefore we ourselves boast of you among the churches of God for your steadfastness and faith during all your persecutions and the afflictions that you are enduring. This is evidence of the righteous judgment of God, and intended to make you worthy of the kingdom of God, for which you are also suffering (2 Thes 1:4-5).

Reflection:

Every life includes trials and hardships. Theologians tell us it is the consequence of sin and evil in the world, which disrupts even nature affects the innocent as well as the guilty. Today, St. Paul teaches that God can draw good out of our hardships:

"For he is using your sufferings to prepare you for his kingdom."

Our problems can help us look upward and forward, rather than inward. They can help to build strong character, and they imbue us with an extra measure of compassion for others who are struggle. Problems are unavoidable for people of faith living in a faithless world. Yet, linked to the sufferings of Christ, they have a redemptive value and meaning.

Application:

Today, offer any hardships or pain you experience for a special prayer intention.

Accordingly, primary emphasis has been given to the accumulation of few archived messages at the era-of-peace web site, as opposed to many individual emailed messages to members. Our intention is to build a relatively small base of messages, to facilitate the painting of the "big" picture as eschatology is realized daily. As new members join, especially during the foretold confusion associated with the Warning, they will see for themselves the foretold events materializing together with supporting evidence.

"Jesus, I forgive my CHILDREN for their lack of respect, obedience, love, attention, support, warmth, understanding; for their bad habits and actions that disturb me, I forgive them.

 

My God, I forgive my IN-LAWS AND OTHER RELATIVES who treated my family with a lack of love and respect. For all their words, thoughts or actions that injure and cause pain to me and my family, Lord, I forgive them.

 

Lord, I forgive my EMPLOYER for not paying me enough money, for not appreciating my work, for being unkind and unreasonable with me, for being angry or unfriendly, for not promoting me when I deserved it, and for not complementing me on my work when I did a good job, Lord, I forgive them.

 

I forgive my CO-WORKERS who are disagreeable or make life miserable at work. For those who push their work off on me, gossip about me, won't cooperate with me, for those who try to make me look bad so they will look good in the eyes of the boss, and try to take my job, Lord, I forgive them.

 

I forgive my NEIGHBORS. For all their noise, for letting their property run down, not tying up their dogs who run through my yard and do their job on my front lawn, for being prejudiced and running down the neighborhood,

The more hearts that live peace, the sooner will it flourish on earth. "Let us therefore," he concludes, "be instruments of peace, for blessed are the peacemakers-they shall be called the children of God.'"Application: In addition to your prayers for peace, strive to be a peacemaker wherever you are today.

Dear Friends,

 

I will give thanks to you, O Lord, with all my heart, for you have heard the words of my mouth; in the presence of the angels I will sing your praise; I will worship at your holy temple and give thanks to your name. Psalm 138:1-2

 

We had a mostly sunny day yesterday and it was warm in the afternoon. It was 25 degrees in the house. It is sunny again today for another great day. It will be warm this afternoon.

 

I celebrated Holy Mass yesterday morning at 9:30 a.m. and there were some people present who asked for prayers. I prayed with them after Mass. I was at the prayer meeting last evening at the Immaculate Conception Church, Palmer Road, and a good group turned up. I will celebrate Holy Mass this evening at 7:00 p.m.

 

I will have a retreat at the prayer room starting on Friday, June 20, at 7:00 p.m. There will be a healing Mass on Saturday afternoon, June 21, at 3:00 p.m. Everyone is welcome.

 

The Forgiveness Prayer

 

Dr. Rice used Father Robert DeGrandis' forgiveness prayer and changed it a bit. I will write this prayer out during the next few days. Here is the first part of the prayer:

 

Abba Father and my Lord Jesus Christ, I come before You, just as I am. I am sorry for my sins. I repent of my sins, please forgive me. In your name I forgive all others for what they have done against me.

 

Lord, Jesus Christ, I wish to come to You today to forgive EVERYONE in my life, and I know you will give me the strength I need to forgive them.

 

First I want to forgive my PARENTS for attempting to abort me or any of my siblings. For all the times they hurt me, were angry with me and for all the times they punished me unjustly. I forgive them for the times they preferred my siblings to me. I forgive them for any lack of support, love, affection, attention, and for being away from home. I forgive them for fighting, running around on each other, and for divorcing. Lord, I forgive my Mom and Dad.

 

Lord, I forgive my BROTHERS AND SISTERS for rejecting me, lying about me, hating me, resenting me, competing for my parents' love.

 

Lord, I forgive my SPOUSE for any lack of love, affection, consideration, support, attention, communication. For his (her) faults, failings, weaknesses, including being unfaithful to me and for all the other acts or words that hurt or disturb me. Lord, I forgive my Spouse, past and present.

JUNE 12 - ENTER INTO THE MASS

Today's message concerns prayer and the Eucharist:

Always have God's love within you, for without this love you cannot convert yourselves completely. Let the rosary be in your hands in memory of Jesus. Dear children, strive to enter more deeply into the Mass as you should (Locution Jelena & Mirijana JUNE 1, 1985).

And in John's gospel, Jesus speaks of the Eucharist as well:

Those who eat my flesh and drink my blood abide in me, and I in them. Just as the living Father sent me, and I live because of me. This is the bread that came down from heaven, not like that which your ancestors ate, and they died. But the one who eats this bread will live forever (Jn 6:56-58).

Reflection: Fr. Slavko Barbaric offered these reflections on the Eucharist in a sermon given in Medjugorje in May of 1989:

Our Lady once said, "Come to church a little early," which I would interpret to mean about twenty minutes early, to prepare for Mass by offering the rosary. Also, we should remain after Mass for at least ten minutes in order to give thanks. [The Mass] is somewhat like a beautiful banquet spread out before us; if we do not take the initiative to socialize and eat the carefully prepared food, then the event is meaningless.

In the same way, if we eat the food quickly and then hurry away without thanking our host, it would be considered rude behavior. Likewise, hurrying away from Mass is disrespectful to the Lord. We need to spend some time giving thanks and praying for our healing as well as the healing of others. The Mass will have a real effect on our lives.

Application:

This Sunday, come to Mass early to prepare, and leave a bit later, in order to give thanks.

 

Medjugorje Day By Day June 11 - I WANT YOU TO BE HAPPY

 

"Ah, if we had the eyes of Angels with which to see our Lord Jesus Christ who is here present on this altar and who is looking at us, how we should love Him!  We should never more wish to part from Him; we should wish to remain always at His feet.  It would be a foretaste of Heaven.  All else would become insipid to us."   (St. John Vianney)

I want to live in the spirit of faith. I accept everything that comes my way as given me by the loving will of God, who sincerely desires my happiness. And so I will accept with submission and gratitude everything that God sends me. I will pay no attention to the voice of nature and to the promptings of self-love. Before each important action, I will stop to consider for a moment what relationship it has to eternal life and what may be the main reason for my undertaking it: is it for the glory of God, or for the good of my own soul, or for the good of the souls of others? If my heart says yes, then I will not swerve from carrying out the given action, unmindful of either obstacles or sacrifices. I will not be frightened into abandoning my intention. It is enough for me to know that it is pleasing to God. On the other hand, if I learn that the action has nothing in common with what I have just mentioned, I will try to elevate it to a loftier sphere by means of a good intention. And if I learn that something flows from my self-love, I will cancel it out right from the start.       (1549)

JUNE 11 - I WANT YOU TO BE HAPPY

Today Our Lady gives us her purpose in coming to Medjugorje:

Dear children, I call each of you to begin to live in God's love. Dear children, you are ready to commit sin and to place yourselves in Satan's hands without reflection. I call on each one of you to consciously choose God and to reject Satan.

I am your Mother and so I wish to lead all of you to complete holiness. I want you to be happy on earth and then to join me in heaven. This is, dear children, my purpose in coming here, and my desire (Monthly Message May 25, 1987).

St. Paul also speaks of the happiness which is ours as heirs of Christ:

When we cry, "Abba! Father!" It is that very Spirit bearing witness with our spirit that we are children, then heirs, heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ-if, in fact we suffer with him so that we may also be glorified with him (Rom 8:16-17).

Reflection: Paul uses the term adoption to illustrate the believers' new relationship with God. In Roman culture, one who was adopted gained all the rights of a legitimate child in his new family. He became a full heir to his father's estate. Likewise, when a person becomes a Christian, he or she gains all the privileges and responsibilities of a child in God's family.

 

As the Creator's children we are no longer slaves. This is the core of the gospel message and the messages of Our Lady in Medjugorje: we are God's heirs, sharing in the great treasures of his kingdom. Even now he has given us the greatest of gifts: his Son, forgiveness, the Holy Spirit, and eternal life.

Application: The Blessed Mother states that, "I want each one of you to be happy here on earth and to be with me in heaven." That is her purpose and her desire. She asks only that we, "consciously choose God and reject Satan." In your own words make this commitment today in prayer.

I want to plunge myself in thanksgiving before the Majesty of God and to continue in this prayer of thanksgiving for seven days and seven nights; and although I will outwardly carry out all my duties, my spirit will nonetheless stand continually before the Lord, and all my exercises will be imbued with the spirit of thanksgiving.

 

Each evening, I will kneel for a half hour in my cell, alone with the Lord. As often as I shall awake at night, I shall steep myself in a prayer of thanksgiving. In this way I want to repay, at least in some small way, for the immensity of God's blessings.       (1367)

However, in order to make all this more pleasing in the eyes of God and to remove the least shadow of doubt from my mind, I went to my spiritual director [Father Andrasz] and revealed these desires of my soul to him; that is to say, the desire to be steeped in such thanksgiving. I received permission for everything, except that I should not force myself to pray at night should I awaken.       (1368)

With what great joy I returned to the convent! And on the next day I began this great act of thanksgiving by renewing my vows. My soul became thoroughly immersed in God, and there issued from my whole being but one single flame of gratitude and thanksgiving to God.

 There were not many words because God's blessings, like a fierce fire, consumed my soul, and all sufferings and sorrows were like wood thrown into the flames, without which the fire would go out. I called upon all heaven and earth to join me in my act of thanksgiving.       (1369)

JUNE 10 - THE GIFT OF LOVE

Today Our Lady speaks of our greatest need:

Love is a gift from God. Pray, then, that God may give you the gift of love (Locutionists Jelena & Mirijana May 28, 1984).

St. Paul remarks on the love of the Colossians:

This you learned from Epaphras, our beloved fellow servant. He is a faithful minister of Christ on your behalf, and he has made known to us your love in the Spirit (Col 1:7-8).

Reflection:

The Colossians had such a great love for others because the Holy Spirit had transformed their lives. The ability to love our neighbor as Christ loves us comes through the grace of the Spirit. Scripture speaks of love as an action or attitude, not just an emotion; it is the fruit of our new life in Christ.

The Holy Spirit not only empowers us to love others, but also to recognize how much we are loved by God and the Blessed Mother. "You know, dear children, that I love you immeasurably," the Madonna once said, and each day I pray that the Lord will help you to understand the love I give you." When we comprehend that love, we cannot help but turn around and love others in return.

Application:

Since lose is a pure gift from the Lord, the Virgin asks us to, "pray that God may give you the gift to love." Today, let us devote our rosary to that intention.

Pope John Paul II -

Mons. Maurillo Kreiger, former bishop of Florianopolis (Brazil), visited Medjugorje four times. His first visit was in 1986. He writes as follows:
In 1988, I was with eight other bishops and thirty three priests on spiritual retreat in the Vatican.

 The Holy Father knew that many of us were going to Medjugorje afterwards. After a private mass with the Pope, before leaving Rome, he said, without having been asked anything, "Pray for me in Medjugorje". On another occasion, I told the Pope "I am going to Medjugorje for the fourth time".

He concentrated his thoughts and said, "Medjugorje, Medjugorje, it's the spiritual heart of the world". On the same day I spoke with other Brazilian bishops and the Pope at lunch time and I asked him: Your holiness, can I tell the visionaries that you send your blessing?" He answered: "Yes yes", and embraced me.

Trapped in our own comfort zone of discontent

"Suppose one took a paper and wrote down the number of times he succumbed to the vice of self-pity in a day. What a catalog of egotism it would be and what a revelation of character.

 On another page, one could write down those who were blamed for what was really our own fault. It could make one penitent, which means recognizing that the root of all our troubles lies within ourselves. How much do my neighbors have to put up with because of me, and how often does my egotism stand in the way of brotherly affection on their part? But a more serious question is: how often does this self-pity stand in the way of God's doing anything for me?

 I have so blocked up the cave of my mind that no light can enter. When the Master says to our Lazarus' soul, wrapped in the trappings of egotism, 'Come out,' we say, 'No, I want to stay here in the grave of my inner discontent.' "

And all of a sudden, my soul was flooded with the light of the knowledge of God. Oh, would that I could express even a little of what my soul experiences when resting near the Heart of the incomprehensible Majesty! I cannot put it into words.

 Only a soul who has experienced such a grace at least once in is life, will recognize it. When I returned to my room, it seemed to me that I was coming from real life to death. When the doctor came to take my pulse, he was surprised: "Sister, what happened? You have never had a pulse like this! I would like to know what has speeded it up so much."

What could I tell him, when I myself did not know that my pulse was so rapid. I only know that I am dying of yearning for God, but this I did not tell him, for how can medicine help in this instance?       (970)

July - 12 PRAY THE ROSARY

To the prayer group on Mr. Podbrdo, the Blessed Mother speaks of the rosary:

Dear Children, your Mother is so happy tonight to see you all. I wish to call you

again to pray the rosary, and to pray this month especially, because I am in need of your prayers (VPG 5-7-90).

Jesus speaks of persevering prayer in this passage from Luke:

Then Jesus told them a parable about their need to pray always and not to lose heart. He said, "In a certain city there was a judge who neither feared God nor had respect for people. In that city there was a widow who kept coming to him and saying, `Grant me justice against my opponent.' For a while he refused; but later he said to himself,

`Though I have no fear of God and no respect for anyone, yet because this widow keeps bothering me, I will grant her justice, so that she may not wear me out by continually coming."

And the Lord said, "Listen to what the unjust judge says. And will not God grant justice to his chosen ones who cry to him day and night? Will he delay long in helping them?" (Lk 18:1-8)

Reflection:

Fr. Albert Shamon tells the story of Austria's great Rosary Crusade that liberated the country from Soviet control. At the end of World War II, the victorious allies pulled out of Austria and left it in Soviet hands.

After three years of tyranny the Austrian people could no longer bear the communist yoke, but they were helpless to do anything. Then a certain priest named Pater Petrus was put in mind of a revered Austrian hero, Don John, who credited the rosary with his miraculous defeat of the Ottoman turks at Lepanto in 1591, though he was outnumbered three to one.

And so Fr. Peurus called for a Rosary Crusade against the occupying Soviets. He asked for a tithe: that ten percent of the Austrians, 700,000, would pledge to offer a daily rosary for the withdrawal of Russian forces from their country.

The needed ten percent, 700,000 Austrians, made the pledge, and the Rosary Crusade continued for seven years. And then, on May 13, 1955, the anniversary of the Fatima apparitions, the Russians withdrew from Austria. Their evacuation made no sense. Austria was a war prize, industrialized, strategically located, and rich in natural resources. To this day historians are baffled by the pullout.

Application:

Do not hesitate to offer the rosary for great intentions: world peace, an end to abortion, the conversion of sinners, and the special intentions of the Blessed Mother. It was for such intentions as these that Our Lady came to Medjugorje to seek our help.

"Dear children! Today also I call each one of you to decide to surrender again everything completely to me. Only that way will I be able to present each of you to God. Dear children, you know that I love you immeasurably and that I desire each of you for myself, but God has given to all a freedom which I lovingly respect and humbly submit to. I desire, dear children, that you help so that everything God has planned in this parish shall be realized.

 

If you do not pray, you shall not be able to recognize my love and the plans which God has for this parish and for each individual. Pray that Satan does not entice you with his pride and deceptive strength. I am with you and I want you to believe me, that I love you. Thank you for having responded to my call."

 

"Make use of devotion to the Blessed Sacrament as a means of persevering in the practice of virtue.  Let us go to Him toward evening and tell Him about our shortcomings, let us ask Him for help and forgiveness.

"Both Peter and Judas did deny the Master and both repented or were sorry. But the Greek word used in the Scripture is not the same in both instances. Judas repented unto himself - he had self-pity.

Peter repented unto the Lord - he had penitence, sorrow and a desire for amendment. Peter cleaned the weeds out of the garden, but Judas killed the nocturnal brood of remorseful serpents in his breast by hanging himself."

  MEDJUGORJE DAY BY DAY

July 11 - ST. BENEDICT, ABBOT

The Blessed Mother gave Jelena this explanation after she saw a beautiful pearl divide itself. Each half sparkled and then faded away:

Jelena, everyone's heart is like this lovely pearl. When one belongs completely to the Lord, one shines even in the darkness. But when one is divided—a little to Satan, a little to sin, a little to everything— one's heart fades away and becomes worthless. (LJM 6-15-85)

And from the book of Revelation:

I know your works; you are neither hot nor cold. I wish you were either cold or hot. So, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold not hot, I will spit you out of my mouth. (Rv 3:15-16)

Reflection:

St. Benedict, the father of Western monasticism, was known for his steadfast loyalty and love of the Lord, and he carefully inculcated these virtues in his friars. Born in 480 and educated in Rome, he began the monastic life at Subiaco where he gathered disciples, and then departed for Monte Cassino.

There he established the famous monastery and composed the Benedictine Rule, which spread throughout Europe.

His undivided faith, which Our Lady calls us to today, can be easily discerned in his writing. From the Rule of St. Benedict:

What could be more delightful, dearest brothers, than the voice of Our Lord's invitation to us? In his loving kindness he reveals to us the way of life. And so, girded with faith and the performance of good works, let us follow in his paths by the guidance of the gospel; then we shall deserve to see him who has called us unto his kingdom. If we wish to attain a dwelling-place in his kingdom we shall not reach it unless we hasten there by our good deeds.

Application:

Today, pray for an undivided heart that expresses itself in good deeds for others.

St. Ephrem -- Saint Ephrem was born of a Christian family in Nisibis around the
year 306. Ordained deacon, he exercised this office throughout the country and
in Edessa, where he founded a theological school. Despite his ascetic life he
did not relax his ministries of preaching and writing books to confute the

“Have mercy on me, O God, in your goodness; in the greatness of your compassion wipe out my offense. Thoroughly wash me from my guilt and of my sin cleanse me.” Psalm 51:3-4

 

 

The Importance of Forgiveness

 

I come back again today to Dr. Bob Rice’s story. He was a Protestant Pastor for thirty-three years and now he is a Catholic Lay-Evangelist.

He wrote a little book about the Holy Eucharist. In it he wrote about forgiveness. He was told by Jesus Himself that lack of forgiveness can hinder us from being healed and having our prayers answered.

 

He narrates for us the story of a particular woman who had very poor eyesight. She came to Bob at one of his services to ask healing for her eyes.

As he began to pray for her, Jesus stopped him to tell him that this woman lacked forgiveness for her sister-in-law and she would not be healed until she went to her sister-in-law. After telling her about what the Lord had told him, she knew what the Lord was talking about.

Shortly after that she went to see her sister-in-law and forgave her and asked for forgiveness as the Lord had instructed her.

When she did all that, her eyesight was instantly healed. Jesus was still working, however, on this lady on the subject of forgiveness.

 

During a retreat sometime later, which was attended by the whole congregation, the Lord showed the lady that she had to ask forgiveness of one brother.

Around 2:00 p.m. on Sunday the lady went to the kitchen and came back with a basin of water and a towel. She knelt down before this man and began to cry.

She told him that she was having a really hard time loving him as a Christian brother. While she was confessing her hard feelings toward him, she was taking off his shoes and socks. As she washed this man’s feet, the chapel was penetrated with the presence of God.

Dear Friends,

 

“To you I lift up my eyes who are enthroned in heaven, Behold, as the eyes of a servant are on the hands of their masters, As the eyes of a maid are on the hands of her mistress, So are our eyes on the Lord, our God, till he have pity on us.” Psalm 123:1-2

 

I continue today to tell the story of Dr. Bob Rice, a Protestant Pastor who became a Catholic and together with his wife, Anita, are Catholic Lay-Evangelists. Bob tells us that after thirty-three years of ministry, he discovered three enemies that hinder answers to our prayers.

These enemies are 1. doubt and unbelief, 2. a lack of forgiveness towards others and 3. not discerning the Body of Christ properly.

 

Let us now look at the first enemy, namely doubt and unbelief. When we come to prayer, the Lord wants us to come to Him with expectant faith just like a child. Bob gives a beautiful example of this kind of faith. While working one day he broke his arm.

The Lord told him, “You find it easy to pray for others don’t you? Well, now you’re the one in pain. How’s your faith now? With all the pain you’re in right now, can you still believe that I will heal your broken arm?”

He told the Lord, “Yes Lord, I believe.” He was driving and he took hold of the steering wheel with his broken arm and laid the other hand on it and he said, “Arm be healed in Jesus’ Name.”

He was instantly healed and all the pain and other discomfort left immediately. With expectant faith the Lord can heal you too.

 

It is a fact that God does not want us to be doubled-minded. Here is a quotation from James1:6-8: “But he should ask in faith, not doubting, for the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea that is driven and tossed by the wind.

For that person must not suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord, since he is a man of two minds, unstable in all his ways.” 

In 1 John 5:14-15, Jesus says, “And we have this confidence in Him, that if we ask anything according to his will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us in regard to whatever we ask, we know that what we have asked Him for is ours.”

Jesus says in Mark these words, “Therefore I tell you, all that you ask for in prayer, believe that you will receive it and it shall be yours.”

Reflection:

The Colossians had such a great love for others because the Holy Spirit had transformed their lives The ability to love our neighbor as Christ loves us comes through the grace of the Spirit Scripture speaks of love as an action or attitude, not just an emotion; it is the fruit of our new life in Christ

The Holy Spirit not only empowers us to love others, but also to recognize how much we are loved by God and the Blessed Mother "You know, dear children, that I love you immeasurably," the Madonna once said, and each day I pray that the Lord will help you to understand the love I give you" When we comprehend that love, we cannot help but turn around and love others in return

Application:

Since lose is a pure gift from the Lord, the Virgin asks us to, "pray that God may give you the gift to love" Today, let us devote our rosary to that intention

- now over the picture of The Sacred Heart, St. Padre-Pio has appeared and he is celebrating mass.

-and now on the-wall … I see a LARGE BROWN CROSS …

-and now I see a very LARGE  BROWN ANCHOR

-and now I see The Holy Spirit as a ‘DOVE’ on the-wall … and It’s coming from –the-wall- and is going around the room,  and It’s going “through” everyone’s heart … including everyone on the radio internet.

TODAY IS A DAY FOR REST AND PRAYER AND SO I TOO AM IN KEEPING IT THUS.
THEREFORE, I SPEAK TO YOU TODAY OF A GREAT LOVE THAT IS YOURS. YOU HAVE BEEN
TAKEN IN AS SPECIAL LITTLE CHILDREN WHO ABIDE BY LOVING AND SERVING GOD THE BEST
YOU CAN. THIS DOES NOT PUT YOU ABOVE OTHERS IN THIS CORRUPT WORLD, BUT IT DOES

Daily Consecration to the Eternal Father

For the greater glory of God and for the
salvation of all, I consecrate myself to You, O'
Eternal Father, as one of Your faithful remnant.
Behold, I come to do Your Will. With the help of
Your Grace, I will keep Your Commandments. I
will love and reverence You with all my heart,
soul, mind and strength. I will love my neighbor as You love me.

I make this Consecration through the Sorrowful
and Immaculate Heart of Mary and the Sacred Heart of Your beloved Son, Jesus.

O' Eternal Father, send forth Your Holy Spirit
to restore my/our broken image and likeness of
You. Send forth also Your entire Heavenly Court,
all the celestial choirs of Your angels and all
Your Saints, to aid me/us in my/our struggle
against all the forces of evil in this present

St. Cristobal Magallenes and Companions, Mexican Martyrs—Feast, May 21 Between 1915 and 1937, 22 priests and 3 laymen gave their lives for the  Catholic faith in Mexico.  They drew their strength from receiving Jesus in the  Holy Eucharist, in Mass and Adoration, and their love and devotion to their  Blessed Mother Mary.

Love has no meaning if it isn't shared. Love has to be put into action. You have to love without expectation, to do something for love itself, not for what you may receive. If you expect something in return, then it isn't love, because true love is loving without conditions and expectations.

 

Meditations by Padre Pio -

Let us love Jesus for His divine greatness, for His power in Heaven and on earth, for His infinite merits, but also and above all out of gratitude. Had He not been so good to us but more severe, how much less we would have sinned!.

But when sin is followed with profound sorrow, with an honest resolution of never sinning again, an intense understanding of the great pain we have given to the mercy of God; when having rent the hardest fibers of our hearts we manage to shed scalding tears of repentance and love then, my son, the sin itself becomes a steppingstone which brings us closer, which raises us up, which leads us to Him more securely (GF,171)

Into everyone's life the Son shines, enlightening us as to the mysteries of life

"G. K. Chesterton once said that God has put a tremendous mystery in nature itself and that is the sun. In the light of that one thing, which we cannot see because of its brightness, everything else is made clear.

Likewise, thought we cannot comprehend the nature of God completely in this life, nevertheless, in the light of the truths which He revealed, everything else is made clear, such as the mystery of pain, suffering, death, life and birth."

The Lord gave me knowledge of the graces which He has been constantly lavishing on me. This light pierced me through and through, and I came to understand the inconceivable favors that God has been bestowing on me.

 

I stayed in my cell for a long act of thanksgiving, lying face down on the ground and shedding tears of gratitude. I could not rise from the ground because, whenever I tried to do so, God's light gave me new knowledge of His grace. It was only at the third attempt that I was able to get up.

 

 As His child, I felt that everything the heavenly Father possessed was equally mine. He himself lifted me from the ground up to His Heart. I felt that everything that existed was exclusively mine, but I had no desire for it all, because God alone is enough for me.       (1279)

Today the Blessed Mother asks us to abandon our worries to her Son:

Why do you not put your trust in me? I know that you have been praying for a long time, but truly, surrender yourself. Abandon your concerns to Jesus. Listen to what he says in the gospel: "And who among you, through his anxiety, is able to add a single cubit to the length of his life?" (Locutionists Jelena & Mirijana November 30, 1983).

In Psalm 37, trust is seen as the remedy to anxiety:

Trust in the Lord, and do good;

So you will live in the land, and enjoy security.

Take delight in the Lord,

And he will give you the desires of your heart. Our steps are made firm by the Lord, And he will give you the desires of your heart. Our steps are made firm by the Lord, When he delights in our way, Through we stumble, we shall not fall headlong, For the Lord holds us by the hand.

Reflection:

The confident trust that the psalmist and Our Lady speak of today is a sister virtue to acceptance. For some, such as members of Alcoholics Anonymous the spirit of acceptance can be a life and death matter, for it is indispensable tool in their recovery.

In chapter 17 of Alcoholics Anonymous' Big Book, a physician in the program writes:

At last, acceptance proved to be the key to my drinking problem to all my problems today. When I am disturbed, it's because I find some person, place, thing, or situation--- some fact of my life---unacceptable to me, and I can find no serenity until I accept that person, place, thing, or situation as being exactly the way it is supposed to be at this moment.

Nothing, absolutely nothing happens in God's world by mistake. Until I could accept my alcoholism, I could not stay sober; unless I accept life completely on life's terms, I cannot be happy.

I need to concentrate not so much on what needs to be changed in the world as on what needs to be changed in me and in my attitudes.

With hard-won insight, the doctor speaks of his peace, or serenity, as inversely proportional to his expectations. The higher his expectations of other people are, the lower his serenity. "I can watch my serenity level rise," he says, "when I discard my expectations. "

Application:

First, as Our Lady asks, abandon your anxieties and fear to her today, trusting in her great power. Second, as they do in AA meetings around the world, offer the Serenity Prayer. Keep it in mind for troubling times.

O Lord, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change; the courage to change the things I can; and the wisdom to know the difference

It was reported that the four dozen people who received Holy Communion from Pope Benedict XVI on the feast of the Body and Blood of Christ last month received the Holy Eucharist on the tongue while kneeling.

Some Vatican officials said the gesture at the May 22 Mass outside the Basilica of St. John Lateran does not mark a permanent change in papal liturgies, but highlighted the solemnity of the feast and made a connection to the practices of the past.

As the Pope prepared to distribute Holy Communion, ushers placed a kneeler in front of the altar on the basilica steps. Those chosen to receive Communion from the Pope lay people, nuns, seminarians, priests and boys and girls who had received their first Communion in their parishes in May all knelt and received on the tongue.

It is general practice at papal Masses that those receiving Holy Communion from the Pope stand. At those Masses the majority choose to receive on the tongue, but some reverently extend their hands to receive the Holy Eucharist.

In a brief e-mail to Catholic News Service May 23, Msgr. Guido Marini, master of papal liturgical ceremonies, said the decision "was a solution adopted for (the feast of) Corpus Domini," but as for the future, "we'll see."

 There is talk at the Vatican whether the Catholics should return to receiving the Holy Eucharist on the tongue instead of in the hand. No decision has been taken yet on this subject.

Who can doubt the Real Presence?

 
In October 1995 during Pope John Paul II’s visit to St. Mary’s Seminary in Baltimore, USA, he was scheduled to greet the seminarians while they stood outside on the steps. But the Pope made his way through their ranks and into the building.

His plan was first to make a visit to the Blessed Sacrament. When his wishes were made known, security personnel quickly flew into action ahead of the Pope. They had to make a sweep of the building. For this purpose they used trained dogs to detect any persons who might be present.

 

These dogs went through their rounds quickly and were then sent into the chapel. They went up and down the aisles and finally into the side chapel where the Blessed Sacrament is reserved. Upon reaching the tabernacle, the dogs sniffed and whined and refused to leave.

They had discovered SOMEONE there. We Catholics know that they were right; they found a REAL LIVING PERSON in the tabernacle. Jesus is truly present in the Holy Eucharist and that is why we come to the Church to adore Him.

 This story touched me very profoundly that animals can detect a Living Person in the tabernacle and so many people do not believe in the Real Presence. Let us make an act of faith and truly believe that Jesus is present in the Holy Eucharist as He is in heaven.

Jesus is present there as the resurrected Lord who is Our Saviour who suffered and died for us to pay the price for our sins. Let us thank Him for giving us the wonderful gift of the Holy Eucharist.

I give thanks to the Lord for the beautiful sunny day we are having. There is hardly a cloud in the sky and the temperature is great. We will have very good weather for the next few days.

 
Here are some more details about the Eucharistic Miracle in Argentina. Father Eduardo has written many pages about this great event.

“On Saturday, 9th May, we took the container to the Parish house.  When we arrived at the back of the church we faced Our Lady of Lujan’s altar.  There, Father Juan presented the container to the statue and said: ‘Mother, behold Your Son.’  Then he kept silent and told us that he had felt the Virgin say, ‘Do as He tells you.’ I had a small office next to my bedroom. 

There we prepared everything putting the tabernacle, which is used during Holy Thursday, on a small table and a table lamp without lampshade, which would be kept with the light on as a votive lamp.

On Monday Monsignor Rubén Frassia, at that time Parish Priest of San Cayetano in Liniers and a very good friend of our Parish Priest, came to see us.  He prayed with great devotion and amazement before the sign.  On Saturday I celebrated the Holy Mass at 7:00 p.m. and the Parish Priest gave me the sample taken by Dr. Botto to hide it in my hand and give the blessing at the end.

 My Dear Jesus, it is already 1:30 a.m. on Monday.  This Sunday you kept on showing Yourself.  In the Masses of 7:00 p.m. and 8:15 p.m. the paten appeared to be sprinkled with drops of blood.  How great Your love is! How close is Your presence!

 Lord, I feel so close to Your Heart and that is why I ask You to transform mine and make it similar to Yours.  I am not asking to see any more.  I believe.

On Sunday, 10th May, Feast of the Good Shepherd, I was hearing confessions in the afternoon in the confessional of the church and at the end of the 7:00 p.m. Mass, which was celebrated by the Parish Priest, the Deacon came to see me and told me that the paten had been stained with blood during the Mass. 

At the end of the 8:15 p.m. Mass, celebrated by Fr. Graham, I was told that the paten had also been stained with blood.  Both patens were kept in the other tabernacle. 

One of them was made of brass and the other was made of tin with the shape of a fish.  On one of them the priest saw the stain during the Our Father and on the other at the time of Holy Communion. That night we again called Monsignor Mirás who came the following day.”

There is still more about the Eucharistic Miracle in Argentina. I quote once more from Father Eduardo Perez’s essay on the subject.

 
“The Office in which the sign was kept was separated from my bedroom by a sliding door, which let the light of the votive lamp pass through the cracks.  It was hard for me to get used to the idea of being so close to the mystery.  At night I used to wake up several times and looked at that door knowing that behind it was the living presence of Jesus.

After I had washed and dressed in the morning, I would open the door and take out the container of the Eucharistic Miracle from the tabernacle and look at this Sacred Host for a long time. 

Its shape changed several times, but it always kept the shiny aspect such as liver flesh though of an intense red and not violet.  I also smelt it because a piece of meat could not be out of the fridge for such a long time without becoming rotten. 

But the sign continued always fresh and, after forty days, the water evaporated, the flesh dried and was stuck to the bottom of the vessel like a scab.  Then it started to come off and when I left the Parish it was half detached; if one looked at it with a bright light, the colour of dried blood could be seen.

 Carlos Domínguez, the Minister of the Eucharist who found the hosts on the altar came to visit me. He said that when Fr. Juan showed him the Blood he remembered the “nunc dimities” from old Simeon: “Now I can die in peace because my eyes have seen…” and he added, crying: “What else can I see?”  His faith, so clear, made me cry too.

 Carlos Domínguez, the Minister of the Eucharist, was a good, silent man, a man of God.  These words from Simeon were prophetic.  He has already died in peace, after a long and painful illness.

 1992 was the five hundredth anniversary of the Evangelization of America and in the previous year the Holy Father had started the year novena to prepare for the Great Jubilee of the year 2000.  I felt that this sign came to remind us of the source of our missionary action on this new dawn.”

Let me continue again today with the Argentinian Eucharistic Miracle. Father Eduardo gave a lot of details concerning this wonderful miracle.

 
A TESTIMONY:

 “From the very beginning we all felt we had the duty of giving testimony to Christ.  However, no one thought he was a key piece as regards the sign.  Not having seen the moment of the miracle kept the mystery of that instant as the sepulcher kept for itself the rising of Christ.  The sepulcher was the tabernacle.

 Cardinal Quarracino asked us several times if anyone had any doubts of faith in the Eucharistic Presence.  We said no.  And I believe so.  I understand this was not a sign to shatter our disbelief because it was not a message for the four of us.  It was a message for us, but as men of our times.

 

THE MESSAGE OF THE SIGN:

 Dear Jesus, this Sunday is the Feast of Your Body and Blood. I have spent this Feast in Toledo for the past two years. There, everything is splendor and solemnity. Here everything will be simpler but for me it will be full of deep meaning.

This Corpus miracle happened in our Parish little more than a month ago. All this time I have had You here, next to my room, to adore You, keep You company and feel your beneficial presence. In my humble opinion, the following is the message of this Eucharistic miracle: You are present among us.

Nothing new, nothing we don’t know, no news different from the one on the night when You said, “This is My Body…” Years have gone by and time makes us get used to everything and that is why, on the verge of this second evangelization of America and on the verge of the third millennium of the Church in the world, You renew again our spirit by saying, “This is My Body…

” What You said two thousand years ago in the Upper Room, what your disciples and ministers have repeated all this time, You repeat again today at this Church of Saint Mary.”

Dear Friends,

 

I thank the Lord for the beautiful day we had yesterday. The temperature reached 20 degrees Celsius in the afternoon. We were supposed to have rain but we had mostly sunshine with clouds.

 

I was at the Eucharistic Adoration last evening at the Immaculate Conception Church, Palmer Road, from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. I celebrated Holy Mass at 7:00 p.m. at the prayer room and a good number attended. Today I will celebrate Holy Mass at 9:30 a.m. as usual on Wednesday. I hope to go to the prayer meeting this evening at 8:00 p.m. at Palmer Road Church.

 

I continue again today with the report of Father Eduardo on the Eucharistic Miracle in Argentina. It touched the priests who witnessed this awesome miracle as Father tells us in the following words:

 

“Cardinal Qarracino asked us about the message.  We were also asking ourselves what the Lord wanted to say with this.

 

Every Friday, at siesta time, the four of us would get together in the little office transformed into a chapel and would celebrate the Holy Mass.  At the moment of the homily, each one would reflect out loud about the Word of God and refer it to the Eucharistic sign. 

But what I wrote down in my spiritual notebook only a month after this extraordinary event could not be improved on, after extensive thoughts.  The message is that Jesus is present among men.

 

This message—unique and universal—which does not need any foundation because it does not tell us anything new, has for each one of us a personal repercussion, a personal message which each of us would discover as a light for his own priesthood.

 

In my case the message referred to my young priesthood and meant that the great gift by which I could become holy did not lie in the quality of my sermons nor in the academic level of my teaching, nor in the hierarchy of the services entrusted to me, nor in the greatness of my undertakings, but in the capacity to repeat each day in His memory, “This is My Body…” In my hands was the whole consolation of the suffering world, all the food for the hungry people, all the light for those born blind, the only way for the pilgrim.”

Dear Friends,

 

Yesterday we had another beautiful day with the temperature reaching 14 degrees Celsius. It was windy and the wind was from the north, so that is why the temperature was not as high as the day before.

 

I celebrated Holy Mass yesterday morning at 9:30 a.m. and a good crowd turned up. We even had a visitor from the Province of Quebec. Last evening I went to the prayer meeting at our church and a nice crowd attended. This prayer meeting has been going on for many years. Today I will celebrate Holy Mass at 7:30 p.m. in the prayer room.

 

I will now give the last part of the account of the Eucharistic Miracle in Buenos Aires, Argentina, which took place in 1992. Many people have never heard about this wonderful sign of Jesus’ present in the Holy Eucharist.

 

 

CONCLUSION:

 

You have shaped my fatherly heart, which can only be done by you, God’s Only Child, and that is why I will always remember you. And in remembrance of you I do take this chalice, which you have wanted to give me. In Egypt they symbolized with a covered cup the hieroglyphic of the heart and certainly in this cup, in the Heart of Christ, I will find you each day in the Eucharist. In China, the love of the spouses is sealed by drinking from the same cup and each time I take a drink from this cup I will renew my love for you.

And in the Bible we are presented with the cup as a plan, offered to us by God, for us to accept freely. And I accept this cup with the hope of participating with you of that other cup of happiness that God will offer us at his banquet in heaven.

 

During these ten years I have returned with great joy to Santa María Parish Church and I have been able to contemplate the sign on several occasions.  However, I must say it is not there where I meet the Sign but each day in the Holy Eucharist. 

When saying goodbye to the parishioners I told them I would find them in that chalice which they gave me and which, without them knowing, meant for me many secret things.  And so it was.  In the Holy Eucharist I have all what the Lord had showed me during my brief stay at Santa Maria.

Pope Benedict: Marriage is Between a Man and a Woman "Admit No Alternatives"

VATICAN, June 6, 2005 (LifeSiteNews.com) - A letter from Pope Benedict XVI commits the Catholic Church to always proclaiming that marriage is between a man and a woman and that the Church can never admit alternatives.

In the letter released Saturday and addressed to Cardinal Alfonso Lopez Trujillo, president of the Pontifical Council for the Family, Pope Benedict says, "The marriage bond, in which man and woman together constitute a life-long association, ordered by its very nature for the good of the spouses and the generation and education of children," is the basis of the family, the heritage and shared wealth of humanity.

"Thus the Church cannot cease to announce that, in accordance with God's plans, marriage and the family are irreplaceable and admit no alternatives."

The letter which renews the invitation made by John Paul II to attend the Fifth World Meeting of Families, due to be held in Valencia, Spain, in July 2006, notes that "today more than ever, the Christian family has a most noble and inexorable mission, that of transmitting the faith. ...

Parents are the first evangelizers of their children, precious gifts of the Creator, beginning with teaching them their first prayers. Thus a moral universe is created, one rooted in the will of God and in which children are raised in human and Christian values that give full meaning to life."

 

Pope:  Catholics may not support laws contrary to life

Vatican City—John Paul II reminded the faithful once more, as he has done regularly year after year, that a lawmaker who considers himself a Catholic cannot support laws that are against life or marriage.

"I think it is opportune to recall that the lawmaker, and the Catholic lawmaker in particular, cannot contribute to the formulation or approval of laws contrary to the first and essential norms that regulate moral life," the Pope said.

These principles, the Holy Father indicated, are an "expression of the highest values of the human person and proceed, ultimately, from God, the supreme lawmaker."

John Paul II called for respect for the "value of human life itself " from the moment of conception. "No one can claim for himself the power of violating the right to life," he said.

Propose to make amends without being presumptuous, but your strength must be in God alone. Finally, confess sincerely that if God were not your beast-plate and shield, you would be imprudently pierced with every kind of sin (Letters III, p. 702).

When you know how much God is in love with you the you can only live your life radiating that love.

JUNE 8 - TESTIFY THROUGH YOUR LIVES

The Gospa speaks of living the messages of Medjugorje:

Dear children, today I invite you to live in humility all the messages which I have given you. Do not become arrogant in living the messages and boast that, "I am living the messages." If you live and bear my messages with your heart, everyone will sense it so that words, which serve only those who do not obey, will not be necessary. For you dear children, it is necessary to testify through your lives (Weekly Messages September 20, 1985).

Paul also expresses concern about those who merely speak of faith, but do not live it:

But I will come to you soon, if the Lord wills and I will find out not the talk of these arrogant people but their power. For the kingdom of God depends not on talk but on power (1 Cor 4:19-20).

Reflection:

We have all met people who have talked a lot about faith, but that was all it was-talk. They may know all the right words to say, but their lives are not examples of Christian living. Today Paul says that the kingdom of God is to be lived, not just discussed. There is a big difference between knowing the right words and living them out.

This is the message of Our Lady as wee: "It is necessary to live and testify by your lives."

Application:

Today, pray simply for the grace to "live in humility all the messages which I have given you."

JUNE 7 - LOVE EACH OTHER

The Madonna speaks of loving one another:

Dear children, thank you for every prayer. Try to pray continuously, and do not forget that I love you and that I desire all of you to love each other. (Locutionists Jelena & Mirijana May 26, 1984).

One of the fruits of love is reconciliation. In his letter to Philemon, Paul acts as a reconciler between this wealthy Christian and his runaway slave, Onesimus

For this reason, thought I am bold enough in Christ to command you to do your duty, yet I would rather appeal to you on the basis of love-and I, Paul, do this as an old man, and now also a prisoner of Christ Jesus. I am appealing to you for my child, Onesimus, whose father I have become during my imprisonment.

So if you consider me your partner, welcome him as you would welcome me. If he has wronged you in any way, or owes you anything, charge that to my account (Phlm 1:8-10,17-18).

Reflection:

According to Fr. Slavko Barbaric, reconciliation is a fundamental process that God intends every soul to experience. It is a means of freeing oneself from inner ties and chains, of tearing down the walls and barriers that we have erected through sin and hate.

"Reconciliation means simply accepting oneself and others as we are," he says, "and starting where we are now to tear down the walls that separate us from God and one another."

He continues, "Reconciliation also means to let go of hasty judgments of one another and to accept that we are all weak and limited in many ways." It means to deeply experience our common origin from God, that we are truly one in him.

This week, made an overture to someone your have resented or disliked in the past. Ask Our Lady to be with you during this encounter.

JUNE 6 - THE DEVIL TRIES TO IMPOSE HIS POWER

In the first months of the apparitions, Our Lady spoke of Satan:

The Devil tries to impose his power on you, but you must remain strong and persevere in your faith. You must pray and fast. I will always be close to you (First Years November 1981).

And in John's gospel, Jesus also speaks of the Evil One:

You are from your father the devil, and you choose to do your father's desires. He was a murderer from the beginning and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks according to his own nature, for he is a liar and the father of lies (Jn 8:44).

Reflection:

Satan normally tries to work in a covert manner, but at times he can be clearly recognized because of the intensity of the evil. Our Lady says that he has been especially active during this century; his presence dominated the war years and such abhorrent places as concentration camps. Here he reigned supreme amid the slave labor and gas chambers.

In my visit to Dachau in 1992, I could still discern his shadow, like so many others, in the crematoriums, the watchtowers, the mass graves. During the war the Dachau prisoners were hired out and full use was made of them in the armaments industry, always under strong guard. In the office of the Dachau commandant, the Allies found an incredible document that estimated the profit that could be made from each worker. It read as follows:

Average duration of life: 9 months,

270 days X 5.30 Marks = 1,431 Marks

I would have liked to think that such evil and violence was part of history now. But on the drive back to Medjugorje, we passed through the Croatian city of Zoar, where the buildings were riddled with machinegun and mortar fire from the federal army.

Our Lady's emphasis on the reality of Satan is not meant to frighten us, but to protect us. Our armor is the gospel and her messages.

Application:

Today, pray especially for the innocent victims of evil and for the grace to recognize Satan and his works.

"Then the word of the LORD came to him, "Arise, go to Zar'ephath, which belongs to Sidon, and dwell there. Behold, I have commanded a widow there to feed you."  So he arose and went to Zar'ephath; and when he came to the gate of the city, behold, a widow was there gathering sticks; and he called to her and said, "Bring me a little water in a vessel, that I may drink."  And as she was going to bring it, he called to her and said, "Bring me a morsel of bread in your hand."  And she said, "As the LORD your God lives, I have nothing baked, only a handful of meal in a jar, and a little oil in a cruse; and now, I am gathering a couple of sticks, that I may go in and prepare it for myself and my son, that we may eat it, and die."  And Eli'jah said to her, "Fear not; go and do as you have said; but first make me a little cake of it and bring it to me, and afterward make for yourself and your son.  For thus says the LORD the God of Israel, 'The jar of meal shall not be spent, and the cruse of oil shall not fail, until the day that the LORD sends rain upon the earth.'"  And she went and did as Eli'jah said; and she, and he, and her household ate for many days.  The jar of meal was not spent, neither did the cruse of oil fail, according to the word of the LORD which he spoke by Eli'jah.

After this the son of the woman, the mistress of the house, became ill; and his illness was so severe that there was no breath left in him.  And she said to Eli'jah, "What have you against me, O man of God? You have come to me to bring my sin to remembrance, and to cause the death of my son!"  And he said to her, "Give me your son." Some time ago, by way of my visionary friend that leads our prayer meetings, Our Lord told me to shout this from the roof tops.  He wants all the world to know that He will not abandon His Faithful as orphans during the Tribulation.  He will provide!  As He is perfect, His love for us is perfect.  How could He not provide for the needs of those who love Him? 

We have been told in Holy Scripture and in the teachings of certain Fathers of the Church, that during the Tribulation, the Faithful will flee from the cities to the countryside.  Through certain contemporary prophets (yet-to-be-approved by the Church), He has clarified these teachings by explaining that pursuant to His directives, certain of His Faithful have built refuges in the countryside for His flock to flee to, and reside there fully-protected during the Great Tribulation.  Your attention is directed to our writing on the topic entitled:  "To the Refuges on Wings of Eagles".

October 20, 2005:
Jesus said: "My people, just as you see the animals storing food for the winter, so some people are preparing food as well in canning or other means of storage. With the many disasters affecting crop lands, you could see some short term shortages in various foods. I have asked you to set aside some food in your pantries for the coming tribulation. Even before this time it may be wise to store some extra food for when the coming world famine will cause shortages. I will multiply your food when it is needed and when the evil ones will make it difficult to buy food."

August 31, 2001:
Jesus said: "My people, as you hear this Gospel reading of the five wise virgins and the five foolish virgins, think of preparing for the end days both spiritually and physically. This vision of several jars of food is not speaking of large volumes of food to have on hand, but only something extra that could be multiplied for a time. The most important preparation for your judgment is to have your soul free from sin and to have your blessed sacramentals (3) for protection from the evil ones. As the world finances and food supplies begin to deteriorate, life will get very chaotic and you will need faith and trust in Me in many life threatening situations. In all of your preparations it is better to leave your home than to use weapons to protect your food and possessions. The worldly fight over these things, but you must be an example of love even amidst those struggling to survive. Do not be in any panic for your life, but be willing to give up your life for your faith in Me. I will look after you at My refuges, but saving your souls is more important than saving your earthly lives. Encourage people to love Me and keep their souls pure by frequent Confession. Focus on preserving your spiritual life, for this will keep you on track to your eternal destination in heaven."

June 21, 2007:
Jesus said: "My people, I have asked you to put aside some food that could be stored for a while until you will need it during the tribulation.  There will be food shortages during that time and chips will be required to buy and sell the food.  I will multiply what you need so you can share it with your neighbors.  Have trust in Me that you will have what you need to survive."

February 7, 2006:
Jesus said: "My people, the baskets full of left over food refers to My two miracles where I multiplied the food for the five thousand and the four thousand.  The number seven and twelve are all throughout these accounts.  With the five thousand there were five loaves of bread and two fish adding up to seven.  After the people ate their fill, twelve baskets of food were collected from the leftovers.  With the four thousand there were seven loaves to start and after the people ate, there were seven baskets of leftovers collected.  These miracles showed My power, but also it was respectful of not wasting the food left over.  These baskets also show you that I will give you My gifts that will more than satisfy your needs.  These miracles of the bread being multiplied also can be seen in how the Bread of Holy Communion is also multiplied, yet I am fully present in each Host.  This is also a forerunner for how I will multiply the food for My faithful in the tribulation time.  For those without a Mass, I will have My angels bring you Communion so I can be with you all days, even up to when I return."

October 6, 2007:
Jesus said: "My people, this vision of a large loaf of bread is very much how I would multiply food for you at your homes, and at the refuges.  I have mentioned before when the faithful see My miracles, they will have less worry and anxiety how I will provide for your needs of food, water, and shelter at My refuges.  I gave the Israelites manna on the ground, and I will provide bread for My people of the tribulation as well.  Seeing a vision of such a miracle of bread multiplication, gives you a remembrance of how I multiplied the bread and fish for the four thousand and the five thousand.  I will also have My angels give you My Eucharistic Bread as well, if you do not have a priest for a Mass.  Rejoice that I will perform these miracles for you, even as I promised that I would do this for you."

April 21, 2005:
Jesus said: "My people, I have told you to put aside some food that I will multiply in your time of need during a world famine. Natural disasters will reduce your food supplies so that many will be starving. Buying and selling of food will then be controlled by smart cards and chips in the body. If you do not have these chips, you will not be able to buy food. This will be the time to seek My refuges for food and water. Everything that I have warned you about is coming true so you can witness to the truth of My Word. Act now to provide for this time to help yourself and your friends and relatives."

April 14, 2005:
Jesus said: "My people, fresh water will be increasingly hard to find as more people with an increasing population are putting strains on your available water supplies. All of your wells need to be ready, especially at your refuges for the people to drink. Volcanoes and various natural disasters could poison or destroy your present fresh water supplies. I have asked you to store some water and food so I could multiply it in the coming tribulation. My miracles will be needed to provide for My faithful."

September 1, 2001:
Jesus said: "My people, man has prided himself on all of his structures and cities, but as I condemned Jerusalem, so I will condemn those cities that worship money and other gods. You have had many people get rich on the stock market, but now the market is down and these same people are still expecting a recovery. You will see a coming world depression that will humble all of the rich and people will be fighting to eat and survive. The evil people will see everything taken from them and jobs will be hard to find. My faithful will also be stripped of their wealth, but I will feed and protect you at My refuges. Those, who have set food aside for the tribulation, will have it multiplied for those who are with them. I will also multiply your fuel so you will remain warm in the cold months. Have faith in Me and My prophecies and your souls will be saved. My faithful will suffer much persecution from the Antichrist, but in the end I will triumph and your beautiful cities! will be nothing but rubble."

Jesus said: "My people, I have warned you before to have some alternate sources of heating your houses ready in case of power outages in the winter.  This could involve wood fires, kerosene burners, or propane burners for cooking and heating.  The vision of a wood fire also came with a concern for where to store all of the ashes from your wood burning.  In other words it would be wise to be prepared for enough fuel in case your power outages could go into months before electricity could be restored.  You also should have oil in your lamps for light, or mechanically powered flashlights (4).  Batteries will only last a short time, so reusable devices will be more useful.  Your natural gas burners usually require electricity to operate, so getting heat from a line without using electricity may be another option if gas is still available.  You have seen how vulnerable you are in winter with your ice storms.  So be prepared for these events happening again because the one world people know how to cause these storms, and can turn off your power to control you.  With My grace and blessings I could even multiply your fuel in a long power outage.  Trust in My help, but make sure your alternative heating means are in working order."

April 4, 2002:
Jesus said: "My people, weather conditions and controlled markets will cause famine to spread all over the world because of a poor distribution that will not come in time to save many. Finances will not be as valuable as food supplies during a world famine. Wars and riots will break out over high prices and not enough supply for the demand. Put aside some food now that could be multiplied in your need."

August 15, 2000:
Jesus said: "My people, you are not being given the whole story in why the refiners are not stocking supplies for the winter heating oil. Supplies are coming, but the manipulation of prices will cause the possibility that some may not have enough fuel for the winter. I have told you before to store some extra food and fuel and not just for the beginning of the year, but also for just these manipulated shortages that are becoming more apparent. Just as the wise virgins stored extra oil for their lamps, I am advising you to do likewise and not to be like the foolish virgins who did nothing and went without their needs."

September 16, 2000:
Jesus said: "My people, I am showing you empty bowls even though there is food available. Unless food and your other necessities are brought to the stores in proper time, there could be some artificial shortages. There are a lot of hands that handle your crops from the farm to the store. If there are problems in distribution or at the farm, you could see some food shortages. The one world people are doing everything they can to remove the small farmer. They are controlling his seed and artificial fertilizers as well as keeping the prices low to bankrupt the farmer. Control over fuel prices will again threaten the delivery by truck to the stores. In many ways the one world people manipulate markets and supplies so they could control what you eat and your jobs. As the time of tribulation arrives, you can see why buying and selling will be controlled by the Antichrist in working with the monied people. I have told you many times to have some extra food and fuel because of the famine coming, the chip in the hand and now even the manipulation of prices and supplies. Pray for your strength to endure the trials that you will have to face in this tribulation."

October 6, 2000:
Jesus said: "My people, this darkened house without electricity is showing you that some areas may have some blackouts for various reasons. The focus on the pantry is to indicate some shortages and price increases in your food and other commodities than your fuel. The manipulations in your fuel supplies and prices are only the beginning of the manipulation of other commodities. By controlling your supplies, the evil ones will eventually force you into using smart cards and then try to force chips in the hand on people. This and your wars are all leading up to the time of the Antichrist's control over the world through these chips, the satellites, and the cell towers. Refuse to take any smart cards so you will not be influenced to take the chip in the hand. Now is the time to have extra food and fuel on hand so I can multiply what you have and you will not need the mark of the beast to buy and sell. You would rather be killed as a martyr for your faith than take any chips in your hand. Those, who take the chip in their body and worship the image of the beast, will be cast into hell when I come again in glory. Pray now to be able to withstand the persecution of the evil ones, but be assured that I will be victorious after a short reign of the Antichrist."

January 9, 2008:
At Holy Name after Communion I could see the scene of Jesus walking on the water and then the windy sea subsided.  Jesus said:  "My people, in this Gospel reading from Mark (Mark 6:45-52) the disciples were astonished to see Me walking on the water.  When I got into the boat, the wind ceased and again they were amazed that I could control the wind and the sea.  I had told My apostles that I was God's Son, and they had seen other miracles that I performed.  Yet they did not have the Holy Spirit in them until later, and at this time they did not comprehend that I could perform miracles because I was God's Son.  Even today I am performing miracles of healing for those who have faith that I can heal them.  There are still many without faith in Me that cannot believe in miracles, but still they happen.  In the coming days of the tribulation believe in Me that I will perform many miracles to protect My faithful from the evil ones, and I will provide for all of your needs.  Like the apostles that were fearful that I was a ghost on the water, some people of today are fearful of the evil ones who are trying to kill them.  Some truly will die as martyrs, but they will be instant saints in heaven.  My faithful should have no fear of these evil ones because My power is greater than theirs, and My angels will protect you by making you invisible.  I will multiply your food, fuel, and graces in giving you My Hosts.  When you see My miracles as they will be happening, understand My power as God, and be not unbelieving, but believe in the glory of My power by giving praise and thanks to your God."

March 7, 2005:
Jesus said: "My people, during the coming tribulation you will be traveling in the wilderness among many dangerous wild animals on your way to My refuges. Just as I will protect you from harm by the evil ones, I also will protect you from any wild animals. You are seeing the dove representing the Holy Spirit, and He will be your guardian of protection. You will see this protection at My refuges and on the way to your refuges. I will make it so the animals will not see you or smell you. I will even deliver some animals as deer to you for meat. Your testing time will be coming soon when you will have to put your full trust in Me for protection, food, water, and shelter. When you call on My help in faith, everything will be miraculously provided for all of your needs. Even when things will seem hopeless, I will come with power to defeat the Antichrist and all the evil ones. So do not lose hope, but trust in My victorious power that will bring you into My Era of Peace with no fear."

April 22, 2005:
Jesus said: "My people, on the surface in the physical world things may appear calm to you. In the spiritual world you could see the flames of hell all around you as in the vision where evil is running rampant. The flames of the evil ones are a warning that you are in a battle with evil in the principalities and powers of the demon angels. This will only worsen as the Antichrist will be allowed his hour. You cannot fight this evil by yourself, because you will need My graces and My angels’ power to defend your souls. Even as this family is protected from the flames, I will be with you so you will not be tested beyond your endurance. The most important warning is that all of My faithful need to realize that you are in the midst of this battle for souls between the good and evil forces. You cannot afford to be lax in your spiritual life because there are more distractions and temptations to leave Me than ever before. You must keep your spiritual strength up with constant prayer and work to save as many souls as you can. You are dealing with a life and death battle in the spirit world. Hold fast to Me even more as you are approaching the days of tribulation and an evil that you have yet to experience. Have total trust in My power over Satan, and you will have no fear even amidst the flames of evil."

June 9, 2006:
Jesus said: "My people of faith, this attack of the demons upon My elect will be the worst evil that you will ever experience as a human. Temptations and physical torture will be very hard to resist by My elect. But remember that My power is greater than the demons. My faithful must cling to My Real Presence in My Eucharist and spiritual communion to have the spiritual strength to resist the demons. Call out in My Name for your protection and My angels will be at your side. Trust in Me even in hopeless cases and I will save your souls."

August 15, 2000:
Jesus said: "My people, as you look at alternative ways to grind your grain, consider the possibility of scarcer supplies of fuel and electricity. Your oil and natural gas prices are going considerably higher than normal. Higher prices are a sign to you of scarce supplies of heating fuels which may become more of a problem in the winter. Manipulation of supplies and prices are part of the one world people's plan for world takeover. As your standard of living is forced down, you will see increasing control of your buying and selling. Factory jobs are decreasing and your wages will be on the decline. All of this will prepare the time for the coming of the Antichrist to control the world through chips in the body. Refuse to use smart cards and chips in the hand even if it means no jobs and no food. It is better to rely on Me to provide for your needs than to be condemned to hell for worshiping and taking things from the Antichrist. The signs of this world control through your finances and necessities are becoming more evident. Put your trust in Me for everything and I will protect your souls."

October 19, 2000:
Jesus said: "My people, man has developed many advances in science to provide energy, but you still cling to the burning of natural gas and oil for most of your power sources. These fossil fuels are controlled by powerful people and they will demand more and more of your wealth for your energy. With such control, your buying and selling will be limited by available fuel supplies. The one world people will eventually control your lives by holding your food and fuel hostage for your allegiance. Keep storing some food and fuel so I can multiply it and you will not need the Antichrist's chips, money or supplies. Trust in My miraculous help and I will provide for all of your needs."

October 19, 2000:
Jesus said: "My people, no matter how much money, new homes, or new cars you have, they all depend on fuel and electricity to run. Your comforts are very vulnerable to energy supplies. So take more interest in your protection through prayer and trusting in Me because you will not be able to overcome the plans of the evil ones to control you. It is only through My power that I will provide what you need. Do not seek any material help from the Antichrist and his chips. Use only My means of help through full trust in Me and you will be saved from the demons. This trial will last a short time and then you will be rewarded."



After We Arrive at the Refuges

October 22, 2005:
Jesus said: "My people, in this vision you are seeing a cave as a refuge for protection from the evil ones. The loudspeaker on the ceiling means that you are to shout about My refuges of protection from the rooftops. You do not know how evil it will be with demons all around you. When you see the Warning followed by famine, division in My Church, and forced chips in the body, then you are to call on My help and I will have your guardian angels lead you to My refuges with a physical sign. You may be lead to a refuge of My Blessed Mother’s apparition, a place of holy ground as a monastery, or a cave for protection. At these places you will witness miracles of My protection as the evil ones will not be able to see you or detect you. I will provide shelter, food, water, and even My Blessed Sacrament if you cannot attend Mass. Put your trust and faith in Me, and you will be rewarded greatly in heaven. Fear not and do not despair, for you will witness My victory over all the evil ones because My power is greater than theirs."

February 25, 2008:
Jesus said: "My people, you are very comfortable in your homes today, but in the coming days of tribulation, My faithful will need My protection at My refuges from the evil ones who will try to kill you for your faith.  Many will be in confusion in these changing events and the leaders of My faithful will be giving advice and direction how to invoke My protection at the appointed time.  When you see world famine, a division in My Church, mandatory chips in the body, and martial law, know that it is time to prepare to come to My refuges.  My refuges will be at My Blessed Mother’s places of apparition, places of holy ground, and even caves.  At that time I want you to call on My Name and I will have your guardian angels lead you with a physical sign to the nearest place of refuge.  You will first be led to interim places of refuge where My faithful will have a temporary place of hiding and any food will be multiplied for those who come.  Even at these interim places, which this place is one, I will send My angels to protect you and you will be invisible to your enemies.  Rejoice in My merciful protection, even though some will be martyred.  After a while, you will be led further to your final places of refuge.  You will remain at My refuges until I come to vanquish the Antichrist and all of the evil ones into hell.  Be patient and trust in My protection and how I will provide for your needs."

March 6, 2008:
Jesus said: "My people, at My final refuges I will provide everyone shelter, water, and food in abundance. Before people reach their final destination of a refuge, many will travel first to the nearest interim refuge. There will be food multiplied and water there, but sleeping space may be difficult for a while. Have patience with your temporary accommodations and work to help each other. Angels will protect you at these interim refuges as you will gradually make your way to your final refuge. Trust in My plans and I will protect you from the evil ones and all of their diseases."

November 26, 2006:   
Jesus said: "My people, you may have to share your bedding area with other families at your refuges.  Other areas will be for eating, washing, and makeshift toilets.  I have told you before that refuge living will be very rustic without all of your comforts of today.  This simple living will be a good way to cleanse all of your earthly desires, and make you into modern day saints.  I will multiply your food, water, and shelters.  Diseases and disabilities will be healed by looking on My luminous cross in the sky or drinking from the healing spring water.  My angels will protect you from any evil ones trying to kill you.  Just have trust in My help, and your guardian angels will lead you to My refuge that is closest to you."

April 4, 2006:
Jesus said: "My people, today’s reading from Numbers shows Moses holding up the bronze serpent so all of those, who were bit by the seraph serpents, would be healed.  This is a preview of My death on the cross where all of those, who look on Me, could be healed of their sins.  This vision shows a future time of tribulation when all of those, who come to My refuges, will look on My luminous cross and be healed of all of their sicknesses and infirmities.  This will be one of My miraculous gifts that will be at My refuges when doctors and hospitals will not be available.  There will also be springs of water at My refuges that will help your thirst and provide healing as well.  Do not have fear of the tribulation time for I will provide for your food, water, and shelter as your guardian angels lead you to the nearest refuge of My Blessed Mother’s apparition sites, holy ground, or caves."

October 29, 2004:
Jesus said: "My people, I have told you that you would find miraculous springs of water at all of My refuges. This water will have healing properties as well as providing for drinking purposes. As many people will be drawn to My refuges by your guardian angels, each person will need enough water for survival in drinking, meals, and cleansing. This water will be multiplied as the food that I will supply for you. Water is necessary every day, so you will need cups and a means to try and save any rainwater for your needs. Every refuge will need to think of how best to provide water for the crowds that will come. I allowed Moses to strike the rock for water in the desert, so I will miraculously provide for all of your water needs. Bread and meat will also be provided miraculously as well. Do not worry about what you are to eat or wear in the tribulation, for I will answer your every need and My angel will protect you from the evil ones. If your spring goes dry, My angel will dig you another well. The angels will give you water, bread, and meat whenever you need it. Give praise and glory to your God who knows your needs before you even ask Me."

September 13, 2005:
Jesus said: "My people, as you look at this makeshift refuge in the vision, do not think that you will have your present  comforts at your refuge.  You will be very fortunate even to have a priest for Mass because good priests will be scarce.  During the coming tribulation, you will be suffering your purgatory on earth as you will be in a spiritual battle against evil that you have yet to see.  You will need all of your spiritual weapons as your rosary, holy water, Benedictine crosses, and your relics of the saints.  If you are able to have Mass, you will see My Hosts multiply for My faithful.  You will even be able to survive on Holy Communion alone.  Pray that your family will endure being stripped of your material things so I can protect your souls and feed your bodies at My refuges.  It will take strong faith to deny your comforts and pleasures, and follow Me away from the Antichrist’s power.  Have hope and trust in Me no matter how much you will be tested to deny your faith.  Worship only Me and refuse any microchips in your body."

April 4, 2002:
Jesus said: "My people, initially new currencies will be forced on the people of various regions in the world to drain any savings from the people. When people are desperate for food and jobs, national IDs and chips in the hand will be forced on people. Refuse to take these chips in the hand and any jobs requiring these chips in the hand. Better to die if necessary than be controlled by the Antichrist. Call on Me and I will feed you and protect you at My refuges. I will conquer evil in My time so be patient even when some may be martyred."

October 29, 2004:
Jesus said: "My people, this vision of an old wind mill is a sign of the many scenes that you will see in your life review at the Warning (6). The Warning is not far off as the end events are being drawn together. I have warned you in these messages to always be prepared in your soul by frequent Confession and to be ready to move to My refuges when the persecution of religious people begins. The empty highway is an example of the less traveled road to heaven which requires one to be able to give up all of your possessions to go to the refuge. You have grown accustomed to your conveniences of modern cars and many comforts of your home. Unless you are aware of the dangers to your soul, it would be very difficult to leave your home for a refuge where life would be crude, but safe from the evil ones. Persecution of My faithful will worsen, especially if you stand up against the evils of your society openly. It is your duty to speak out of My love and My disdain for your abortions, euthanasia, same sex marriages, and stem cell research with fetal tissues. They will try to imprison you for your beliefs and some will be martyred. Do not have fear of these evil ones, but trust in My grace that I will save your souls. Martyrs will be instant saints, and the rest I will protect at My refuges. For those, who are faithful to Me, you will find your reward in heaven."

August 26, 2006:
Jesus said: "My people, during the tribulation at your refuges, fresh water will be your largest need.  You cannot survive without sufficient quantities of fresh water.  This is why it is important to have a miraculous source as a well or pond for your fresh water at My refuges.  I told you that I would provide for all of your needs, just as Moses struck the rock for water in the desert.  You will have Manna from heaven and meat also, just as at the Exodus.  Fear not the evil ones who will have a brief reign before I will condemn them to hell.  Life in the end times will be perilous as some will be martyred, and the rest protected at My refuges.  My faithful will then live to see My victory in the Era of Peace as your reward for remaining close to Me."

November 22, 2006:
Jesus said: "My people, living conditions back in the time of the early pilgrims were very crude and difficult.  Most of their food and water were depleted or spoiled by the time that they arrived in America.  It was very hard to live off of the land toward the winter time.  Catching game and finding food was almost impossible.  The pilgrims had to rely on the Indians to get started and survive the first year.  Even now your people are spoiled with all of your modern conveniences of refrigerators, ovens, and heaters.  Running water, electricity and gas are taken for granted, but they need to be provided for each household to make it.  Think further what it will be like living at a refuge in the rural part of your country.  Providing water, food, shelter, and wood for heating will be the basic necessities that everyone will have to share in providing.  I will multiply the food, water, fuels, and even the dwellings.  I know that you are not used to this lifestyle, but it will be a humbling experience to live without your many comforts and possessions.  Focus on trusting in Me for all of your needs, and you will be satisfied with your bare necessities.  I love you all, so share what you have with one another, and survival will show you how little you actually need."

June 6, 2007:
Jesus said: "My people, I will protect My refuges from the evil ones by blinding their eyes from My faithful.  When My faithful first arrive at their refuges, they will be frightened by the evil ones, and their faith in My help will not be strong.  Only with prayer and trust can people live calmly at rest in the refuges.  Once you see Me multiply the food, water, and dwellings, then you will quickly become believers in My miracles.  In the old Exodus the people had to rely on manna, quail, and water.  In this new modern day Exodus you will have My angels to give you Communion, there will be deer for meat, and miraculous springs for water.  Once at My refuges, you will all be assigned duties for each of you to help the community in addition to your daily prayer life.  As long as you have shelter and your necessities, you will be able to endure this brief trial of the tribulation.  Trust that I will provide for your protection and your needs."

January 14, 2008:
Jesus said: "My people, I have told you that I would provide for all of your food needs at My refuges.  You will have water from miracle springs and it will be multiplied for all to drink, cook, wash, and bathe.  What little bread you have or wheat that you grow, again will be multiplied.  If you do not have a priest for Mass, My angels will provide you Holy Communion.  In order to have a balanced diet, meat will be provided from deer that will come to the refuge.  Farm animal meat could also be multiplied.  I am showing you a greenhouse because with glass or plastic, you could have places to grow vegetables for nutrition.  Here it is important to set aside a storehouse of non-hybrid seeds which some call heirloom seeds.  This is so you can harvest seeds from some of your crop and then be able to have seeds for the next growing season.  Some vegetables can be re-seeded for more than one crop a year if you have protection from frost.  As before I can multiply your vegetable crops for everyone at that refuge so all can have enough to eat.  Everything will be multiplied, but in faith you need to provide for yourselves in the natural order of life.  Having the proper seeds is another part of your preparation for the tribulation time at the refuges.  Rejoice in all of these means of preparation for your survival and protection from the evil ones."

November 4, 2006:
Jesus said: "My people, in Scripture it speaks how it would be hard for you if the end times should come in the winter time, especially for those with child. (Matt. 24:15-22) You have experienced some glimpses of your winter season in your travels and there is a little suffering in bearing the cold of the winter.  Even at My refuges you may suffer the cold as well, but I will provide for all of your needs.  You have seen My apostles when I called them, and they left everything to follow Me.  It is more difficult in this age where you have many distractions and comforts, that you also could leave everything behind to follow Me.  My call is to come to My refuges when the time of end times is upon you.  Some have had a calling to prepare refuges and they will be blessed.  Those, who come in faith and leave all of their possessions behind, will also receive a blessing.  Obedience to My Word and to My Church leaders is of great importance, and following Me is a calling that will prepare you for coming to heaven.  When you come to My refuges, you will be protected by My angels and everything else will be provided for you."

April 24, 2008:
Jesus said: "My people, I have protected many of My saints and prophets in caves, even though the caves may be cold and damp. My angels will provide you with water, air, and light in these caves. Any animals in them will be removed to avoid any danger. The caves will protect you even from the coming Chastisement. After that trial, you will be brought out into a renewed earth in My Era of Peace. Again, have no fear, and put your trust in My power over the evil ones."

August 17, 2002:
Jesus said: "My people, at the time of the Exodus I had Moses strike the rock to provide water for My people. I also sent manna and quail to their camp so they had food and water to survive in the desert. Every day they had food and water provided for them. As you will be entering the time of tribulation, you will see another modern day Exodus evolving. I will have My angels lead you to My refuges of protection from the evil ones who will try to kill you. At every refuge there will be miraculous springs of water to drink for all who come there. Again, I will send My angels to give you My heavenly manna that will feed you both physically and spiritually. I will also multiply any food that people bring to the refuges. People will be healed of their sicknesses by looking on the white luminous crosses or drinking the miraculous water at the springs. Have faith and trust in Me for protection and for providing for your needs. Some will be martyred, but those at My refuges will find miraculous ways of protection from being killed. Have patience for a while and I will bring My victory over these evil ones. Then you will share forever at My banquet table."

February 4th, 2008:
Jesus said: "My people, you know of the story of Lourdes (5) with St. Bernadette discovering a newly formed spring of water at the grotto where My Blessed Mother appeared. This was a confirmation of her messages as being true, and many have been healed by drinking and bathing in these miraculous waters. The vision of the sky is where the luminous cross will appear over the places of My Blessed Mother's apparitions, as in Lourdes. These places will be refuges of protection for My faithful during the tribulation. All of My refuges will have springs of healing water, as well as healings by looking on the luminous crosses. Learn from My Blessed Mother's messages and all the miracles that she was instrumental in performing to give heaven's confirmation and approval of what was being said. It is difficult for man to believe in such apparitions, but he must be open to heaven's communication through gifted messengers. Discern and test what is given, but remain open to heaven's leading you to follow My Word."

May 5, 2005:
Jesus said: "My people, those at the refuges will find it difficult to bath and wash in wooded areas. You will have to keep covered in enclosures to protect yourself from mosquitoes and ticks. When you drink the healing water and look on the luminous crosses, you will be healed from any diseases. Trusting in Me will be all that you can do in the tribulation."

January 21, 2004:
Jesus said: "My people, you are familiar with how bears hibernate for the winter and how man even can fall asleep overnight. Your scientists are experimenting with hibernation which could be used on long space flights to limit the amount of oxygen and food needed over long times. As you are considering trips to the moon and possibly to Mars, this experimentation has received renewed interest. This is not a normal state for man, where it is for some animals. I have mentioned before in My messages that hibernation will be something that I will enable My faithful to use during the tribulation during the winter months in Northern climates. These are some of the secrets of your nature that I will allow only for My purposes of protection from the Antichrist. I will allow miracles of protection at My refuges so My faithful will be able to endure this evil struggle during the tribulation."

January 10, 2008:
Jesus said: "My people, as you start a New Year, do not be fearful  of the evil ones, but know that I will be protecting you on the way to My refuges and at My refuges.  You are seeing in the vision how I am preparing many rooms for all of My faithful.  I told you that I would multiply the dwellings so that everyone will have their own room.  My angels will keep away the evil ones, and I will provide for all of your needs both spiritual and physical."

February 19, 2001:
Louise asked Jesus to cover her with His Most Precious Blood.

Jesus then said: "My Word is Truth. My Word is Love. My Word is warning you. My Heart loves you. When will you listen to Me? When will you do as your told? Must a person tell you what to do, or must you listen only to God? Do I not know what is coming in the future? Do I not tell you? Do I not warn My people as I said I would do? Do I lie, or am I all truth? Am I not all Love and Truth? Do you not believe My Words?

These things are happening in your world today, and worse is yet to come, and it's coming quickly. For I am lowering My Arm, and no one will hold it back any longer, because of the terrible sins of mankind. So few people love Me, so few people honor and adore Me, and fewer still obey My Commandments and My Words. So few people today believe My messengers. I chose these children of Mine around the world. Their words are being confirmed because they are of Me. Do not listen to anyone whose words are not confirmed for they are of evil.

If you hear these words to other messengers, to others of mine throughout the world, know that it is true. Do it! Do not wait for someone to tell you what to do. Listen to Me, obey Me, do what I tell you, for the time is short, and the cold will get worse, and the shortages will be a reality.

If you do not lay-in what you can according to the size of the place you live in, you will be sorry. Don't be like the foolish virgins, be wise as the others were, for your bridegroom is coming like a thief in the night. And he is coming soon. I tell you, if you have a closet, lay-in one of each. If you have a basement, lay-in much of each. If you have a barn, store it up for yourself and animals, all creatures, for they depend on man, as they depend on Me. You must listen to Me as the creatures do, and depend on Me, not on one another. Do as you are told, be bold and go forth in My Name. Why are you fearful? Did I not save your neck, and I would take care of you? Do as your told and go forth. Put in your reserves now, tomorrow may be too late.

There is a war going on now, and America is part of it. Your country, the United States is a part of it. If the other countries of the Far East aim at you, you will have no electricity, no natural gas, there will be no stores open to buy, and people will panic. There will be riots and killing and stealing for people will want it. But I will protect those who listen to Me.

I will take care of what you have. And those of you who put up your sacramentals as I have told you, bless those windows and doors, put My signs around every wall and window, let it be seen by the world. For I have promised you, your homes will not be seen by the evil ones. They will pass you by as they did in the Passover.

Louise now receives a vision: "I even see fires around the country. I see floods. I see a lot of major cities, their not anymore. They're being either burnt or flooded out, or bombed out. I see The Lord's refuges standing loud and clear and bright, but people can't see them, they don't know where they are. They're right in front of their noses, but they can't see them.

Jesus then speaks again: 'Not everyone will have to go into caves, for not everyone can travel that far. For many are crippled, some in body, that is their limbs are crippled, but others are crippled because of diseases and they can't go. Then I will make those refuges if you want your place to be a refuge, then obey Me, and have that house consecrated to Me by a priest. A good priest! Have that home blessed. Have your property blessed. And bless your cars. Bless everything in My Name, and you will be safe. Do not obey Me, and you will pay for it.

I am doing what I can do for My people. And I am talking to you through other people. I am using them. If you hear a confirmation, do it! Pray, and I will tell you what to do. Fear not, for I live in the hearts of My children. Open your heart to Me. Let Me in and hear Me. You know not the days that are left. You do not know what evil is up to, but I do, and yes your God is the conqueror. But there will be much to go through between now and the days when the new earth and new Heavens appear. Yet I will take care of Mine, and Mine will take care of others. Obey Me.'


March 14, 2006:
Louise began to receive a message and said, "Jesus, please cover me with Your Most Precious Blood."

Then Jesus spoke, "Dear children of My Sacred Heart, you who are taking My words, My warnings seriously should have your pantries prepared for any disaster that comes to you from God OR from man.

With the onslaught of mad cow disease and bird flu threatening your country and the whole world it behooves you to be in complete readiness this very day,  Evil men are quickly destroying your air, water and all food.  Deadly poisons, chemicals, toxins and germs are in nearly all foods to make you and all My creatures suffer unheard of illnesses.  This time is truly the "Culture of Death"!

I will protect all supplies you have stored even if these necessities are many years past so-called shelf life.  Because of your blind obedience to My word, My blessings are upon your homes, your needs for these deadly times that are about to befall you and your country.

If you have not as yet prepared- -DO SO IMMEDIATELY!!!  Atomic warfare is also very near.  Chemical and germ warfare is not far behind.

I will assist all those who act according to My word.  I will be with you through it all.  Hesitate not one minute longer.  Prepare or suffer all the deadly consequences!

September 28, 2006:
Louise began to receive words from God and then said, "Jesus, please cover me with Your Most Precious Blood."

Then your Everlasting God spoke, "When I walked among you (about) 2000 years ago I told you all the signs to look for before the Great Chastisement would befall mankind.  For many, many years I have been warning you, preparing you for these great days that are now upon you.

I've told you that fire would come from the sky and consume the entire earth for all must be and will be purified.  No trace of sin can or will remain.  Storms and winds will carry diseases and debris far and wide.

Very few will remain- -only those who carry their cross daily with a loving, faithful heart and a sincere desire to save souls.  You absolutely must let go of self-pleasure, sin, all that is material and become humble, giving, poor in spirit.  You must forgive to be forgiven.  Obey every word of God.

You must be totally prepared- -have all necessities at your fingertips.  The hour is very near. Winter is coming.  Piercing cold will soon be felt.  Then, in due time, the three days of darkness (8) will cover the earth.

Begin to pray and never cease.  When those days begin may you be found in prayer and in complete readiness.  What you will see and live through is beyond all human comprehension.  It is The Father's Hour of His Divine Justice and total purification.

I will alert all people ahead of time.  Come to me.  Live in Me.  Accept My Mercy and Love.  Soon rivers will turn red and streets too with the blood of sinners.

Great signs will surround you day after day.  Miracles sent from Heaven will be seen to alert you of My constant Presence. Wonderous signs will be everywhere.  Then too there will be much suffering among all humanity.

It is not your physical life that is at stake but the life of your immortal soul.  Convert, pray or die eternally.  I tell you My children, evil has a very strong hold on your hearts, minds as souls are dying hourly only to be lost eternally.

Amen, My children, I tell you 'the Chastisement will be', you will see the state of your soul, all must suffer, only Heaven and Hell will open wide their doors to accept souls for all eternity.  This is your final life or death choice.

Amen, I your God, have spoken and My word is truth."

Dear Friends,

 

We had a very nice sunny day yesterday with little wind and it was room temperature outside. Today it is sunny and mild and it should be warmer than yesterday. The farmers are very happy as they can plant their potatoes and other crops.

 

I will be busy today getting ready for the Healing Mass I will have in the prayer room this evening at 7:30 p.m. We will start with the rosary at 7:00 p.m. Many people are phoning me from the Provinces of Quebec and New Brunswick letting me know about the healings they have received. Some were healed physically and others spiritually. I will pray for all the sick this evening who have phoned me to ask for prayers.

 

I will now give the last part of the true story of the Eucharistic Miracle that happened in Korea. It is extraordinary that when Julia Kim receives Holy Communion that the host turns into flesh on her tongue and as she drinks from the chalice blood appears in her mouth. This is a call by the Lord to us all to believe with all our heart that Jesus is truly present in the Holy Eucharist and that we should show great reverence toward Him at all times. We are called to adoration of Our Lord and Saviour who is the Second Person of the Most Holy Trinity.

 

What could be the reason why Jesus, Our Lord, causes this miracle to take place in our day? There are a number of reasons that can be suggested. 1. To show us that He is truly present in the Holy Eucharist. 2. To strengthen the faith of the priests and bishops who at times may doubt that Jesus is truly present in the host and the chalice. 3. Many Catholics are leaving the Church and at least one third of Catholics do not believe in the Real Presence of Jesus in the Holy Eucharist.

 

Through this miracle they come to believe in the Real Presence and they return to church for Sunday Mass.

 

The Catholic Church teaches that, at the consecration at Holy Mass, the bread and wine become the true Body and Blood of Christ. It is a fact that throughout the centuries, God has manifested His Real Presence by means of Eucharistic Miracles especially at times when many Catholics lost their faith in the Holy Eucharist. Jesus has offered another Eucharistic Miracle in Naju, Korea and He used Julia Kim for that purpose.

 

Let us thank the Lord for this wonderful manifestation of His presence.

Where is the Safe Refuge? by Lec

Today is First Friday. I felt this message quite timely because of the First
Friday's Novena to the Sacred Heart of Jesus,, our Safe Refuge

WHERE IS THE SAFE REFUGE?

Yesterday, it was my car ban day so I rode the office shuttle bus on my way to
the office. My mind free from watching the road, I talked to the Lord for a
while. The subject was the "place of safe refuge". I asked because earlier at
church after the 6:00 am mass, I asked the Lord if we are to sell a piece of
land left by my parents and there is a potential buyer, a German national
planning to reside in our small town in the province who wants to buy land
suited for gardening which our property is.

When we bought it way back 2002, I had the notion that this place which we
planted with as many kinds of fruit trees, vegetables, flowering plants, vines
and root crops would be a good place for a "safe refuge" when bad times come but
this morning when I asked if we should sell this land, what I heard is a "Yes".
I have second thoughts. Where then is the safe refuge if we are to dispose of
the property? I don't know of any in my country. We have heard of it from John
Leary and other Messengers but have not yet heard of it here.

In the stillness of my mind I clearly heard "THE SAFE REFUGE IS IN MY HEART".

Hearing such a sort of a "General Statement" my mind naturally wandered and
craved for specifics. Then I heard "MY HEART IS THE SAFE REFUGE BECAUSE THERE
IS NOTHING MORE THAT YOU WILL NEED". EVERYTHING IS IN THERE".

There and then, my seeming lack of faith and unanswered self query was
satisfied. To me, it means to trust God, not to worry, He will provide, He will
show the way, He will do something to help, save, spare, mitigate. I believe
that the details would be given when it becomes urgently necessary to be known.

The idea of a safe refuge has long been an enigma to me. Hearing none of it
here in the Philippines, I am wondering....where shall we go, what shall we do,
are we going to leave our house in the city but where to proceed when times get
bad?.. to the province,....but that's a coastal town....only 3 kilometers away
from the seashore...quite vulnerable to tsunamis and what about my dream where I
saw our house toppled to the ground even if its made of concrete.. The Lord's
assurance of the safe refuge in His heart dispels my worries stated above
because that simply means to trust.

He will do something tangible but does not reveal yet at the moment as to what.
He said he's giving out details later on.

Today, June 6 is First Friday dedicated to the Sacred Heart of Jesus.

I will be their secure refuge during life, and above all in death.

NOVENA TO THE SACRED HEART OF JESUS

O most holy Heart of Jesus, fountain of every blessing, I adore You, I loved
You, and with a lively sorrow for sins, I offer You this poor heart of mine.
Make the humble, patient, Pure and wholly obedient to Your will. Grant, good
Jesus, that I may live in You and for You. Protect me in the midst of danger;
comfort me in my afflictions; give me health of body, assistance in my temporal
needs, Your blessing on all that I do, and the grace of a holy death.



THE PROMISES OF OUR LORD to Saint Margaret Mary for Souls Devoted to His Sacred
Heart

1. I will give them all the graces necessary in their state of life.
2. I will establish peace in their houses.
3. I will comfort them in all their afflictions.
4. I will be their secure refuge during life, and above all in death.
5. I will bestow a large blessing upon all their undertakings.
6. Sinners shall find in My Heart the source and the infinite ocean of mercy.
7. Tepid souls shall grow fervent.
8. Fervent souls shall quickly mount to high perfection.
9. I will bless every place where a picture of My Heart shall be set up and
honored.
10. I will give to priests the gift of touching the most hardened hearts.
11. Those who shall promote this devotion shall have their names written in
Heart, never to be blotted out.
12. I promise thee in the excessive mercy of My Heart that My all-powerful love
grant to all those who communicate on First Friday in nine consecutive months
grace of final penitence; they shall not in My disgrace nor without receiving
their Sacraments; My Divine Heart shall be their safe refuge in this lost
moment.

Jesus Prepares Us For Prayer


Today I went to the 8:30 Mass in completion of the 8 First Fridays to the
Sacred Heart of Jesus and to receive His many promises.


I made small offerings to Jesus and Mary and prayed for all the many with
special needs and intentions. Prior to receiving the Body And Blood of Christ, I
made an Act of Contrition. After receiving the most precious Body and Blood of
Christ I knelt in commune with Jesus. Asking Him to cover me with His most
precious Blood, I prayed that Jesus would allow only visions and/or words that
truly come from Him to be allowed into my mind's eye and/or my heart.


On my knees I prayed, Speak Lord (always if it be His will), Your servant
listens. Jesus immediately responded to my prayer saying, Behold and see the
huge waves (Tsunami) that will soon envelop My innocent people. Pray for their
souls.

Note: I could see huge tidal waves crashing on and covering the land!

Go in peace to love and serve the Lord. I love you as I love all My children.

Jesus Teaches Us How To Listen And Hear His Voice In Our Heart



Today I spent an hour alone with Jesus in front of the Blessed Sacrament
where I made humble offerings to Jesus and Mary and prayed for all with special
needs and intentions. Then I prayed on my knees to Jesus asking Him to please
cover me with His most precious blood. In prayer I asked Jesus to turn off all
internal noise and distraction that I might only hear or see whatever it is He
wants me to hear or/and see.



Then I asked of Jesus, Speak Lord (if it be Your will), Your servant
listens. At that time with my eyes closed, I saw a fuzzy picture, like that of a
TV that has no picture, often described as snow.



Then Jesus spoke to my heart saying; Eileen My child, communication between
Me and My people is difficult because I speak yet they are not receptive, they
have no antenna with which to hear.



But I tell you truly, those who hear My word and follow Me are My sheep and
I their Shepard. They will never be lost for I go ahead to lead them.



Go in peace to love and serve the Lord. Continue to pray for your brothers
and sisters. Amen.
