AFRICAN CHURCH GROWTH
By the reign of the Roman Emperor Constantine (around 306, 337 A.D.), many African provinces had Christian Catholic Episcopal sees (chairs, or headquarters).
Whether called Ta Merri, Akebulan, or by the Greek word, Africa, the continent remained a Christian stronghold until invasions later decimated the African church.
As exemplified in our coming volume, Writings of the Black Saints, Mystics, African Church fathers produced reams of literature. Arnobius wrote seven books of Disputations against the barbarians. Lucius Caelus Firmianus Lactantius wrote the Divine Institutes around 325 A.D.. Lactantius also tells us some of what we know about the African persecutions of Christianity.
While the Eastern Empire withstood, the culture and Empire of the West in Rome was unable to contain the ravages of the barbarians it had stopped for more than 2,000 years previously. What had taken a millennium to build collapsed in the customary short time.
The East German (Teutonic) Arian Vandals split into two chief tribe-groups. Having taken the Rhine three years earlier, they first entered Rome’s province of Spain in 409 A.D.
Under Vandal Guntharic, they took the African area of Callubicum on the coast in 425 A.D. and then Carthage, Mauretania, and Numidia fell in 431 A.D.
Roman officials granted the Vandals meaningless diplomatic control of the three Mauretanias, Tingitana, Caesariensis, Surifensis, and a part of Numidia.
The Vandals wanted it all. In 442 A.D. they grabbed Proconsularis and Byzacena, extending their Numidian holdings.
Christian persecutions continued under Roman rule. Huneric, son of Geiseric, exiled some 4966 African Christians and their bishops. Monasteries and churches were closed. The men and women were given to the supposedly savage Mauri of Mauritania. Many of the Mauri became Christians and later zealous defenders of the faith.
Vandals sacked Rome in 455 A.D. One hundred years passed before the Byzantine Emperor Justinian re-took Italy, Northern parts of Africa, and Southeastern Spain with Generals Belisarius and Narses. The Vandals were enslaved and churches returned. (Yet Vandal descendants would be responsible for another church split, around a thousand years later.)
Through invasions, doctrinal troubles, and the sword of Al Islam, the Christian Catholic Church Africa dwindled vicariously by the 7th century.
However, in the middle of the 6th century (540 A.D. to 548 A.D.), A priest named Julian went to renew Christianity among we Black folk of the Nobades, living on the Southern border of Thebaid (Province of Thebes).
Many Cushites were re-won for the faith. The isolated Christian Catholic community astonished the European Portuguese colonialists, soldiers, and missionaries who visited the area a thousand years later.
Nothing in this world is by chance, but by Divine intervention. The Church in Africa faded for a time, possibly because so many of Africa’s children were soon to leave-KIDNAPPED!

What Is A Saint?
The English word saint stems from the older Middle English, from the Old French, or Late Latin Sanctus. It means sacred. Holy persons share a reputation for piety or virtue.
A saint is simply one who rests in the presence of God. In the early Latin rite church, as in the Eastern Church hood sainthood was by acclamation. People knew it. So the people said so and acted like it. In the Western part of the Church, there is a formal process called canonization.
According to present Latin Rite Church rules, a cause (case) for sainthood may not be opened until five years have passed after the death of a candidate’s death. A Chief Priest of Rome can waive this requirement for formal recognition, as John Paulus II did for Mother Teresa. God—and often the people- already know who is in heaven (the presence of God). Eastern Rites (rules) differ in the approach.
Years ago, this writer frequently used to ask himself, “C’mon! Don’t we have more saints than just Martin De Porres, and Benedict the Moor! The answer now is EMPHATICALLY, YES!
In some instances here) a saint’s festival (called feast or memorial days, a date may differ, or be the same. But the changes in the Latin, Byzantine, Coptic, Russian, or Greek (Orthodox) rites may differ—even the names of calendar months.

The Visit of the Magi
"When Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judea, in the days of King Herod, behold, magi from the east arrived in Jerusalem, saying, 'Where is the newborn king of the Jews? We saw his star at its rising and have come to do him homage.' When King Herod heard this, he was greatly troubled and all Jerusalem with him.
Assembling all the chief priests and the scribes of the people, he inquired of them where the Messiah was to be born. They said to him, 'In Bethlehem of Judea.' Herod sent them to Bethlehem and said, 'Go and search diligently for the child. When you have found him, bring me word, that I too may go and do him homage.' After their audience with the king they set out. And behold, the star that they had seen at its rising preceded them, until it came and stopped over the place where the child was.
They were overjoyed at seeing the star, and on entering the house they saw the child with Mary his mother. They prostrated themselves and did him homage. Then they opened their treasures and offered him gifts of gold, frankincense and myrrh. And having been warned in a dream not to return to Herod, they departed for their country by another way.' Matthew 2:1-5, 8-12
It is cloudy this morning and we had about 1 cm of snow during the night. We might get a little more today. I will celebrate Holy Mass at the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Palmer Road, today at 11:00 a.m. Yesterday I celebrated Holy Mass at the little shrine of Our Lady of Prince Edward Island in honor of Our Blessed Mother at 9:30 a.m.
Joseph received another message from Our Lord and this is the message he received from Jesus, "The Magi who were not Jews came from the east of Israel following a star to Jerusalem. They had seen a star, which they interpreted as the star of the newborn king of the Jews and they wanted to go and do homage to him. They stopped in Jerusalem to ask King Herod where I was born.
The chief priests and the scribes knew that the Messiah was to be born in Bethlehem, so the king sent them to Bethlehem to find him and to report to him so he too could go and do him homage. They left and the star guided them to the house where I was with My Mother. They did Me homage and gave me great gifts. Then they returned home another way because they were told not to return to Herod as what he had told them about doing homage to Me was a lie.
On this Feast of Epiphany or Manifestation, I manifested Myself to the Gentiles, as I came as the Savior of all the people of the world not only the Jews. This is seen today by the fact that My Church is spread throughout the world. The three magi represent all of you, non-Jews, who have come to believe in Me and to follow Me. Today is your great Feast. Come and render Me homage like the magi and I will bless you. You are My beloved friends for whom I came into this world and for whom I died." Father Melvin

Dear children of humanity,
I am a God Who is a God! A Merciful God is One Who loves His children and One Who loves life. So as your God, I created life for all to behold.
When you are young, you gird your loins, clothe yourselves, and entertain yourselves; because when you are young, you do not think of the future. All is good. There is no need to pray and no need to repent. You can have it your way, all the things that you desire. On another day you can always make up for what was lost.
Then you grow older; and as you grow older, the body becomes weaker, even beginning to decay. You become set in your ways. It becomes difficult to praise your Creator. With suffering it becomes more difficult for you to pray and to plead your cause.
I, as God your Father, mercifully waiting, gaze upon humanity. Yet another plea comes in. It seems you want more, more of something else that you have not received. But there are few songs of praise for what you have gained.
Truly there is a lack of wisdom and a lack of humility on your part for not being able to see with the eyes of the heart the gift that has been handed to you. Here you have the treasure of my Son's Mother who pleads your cause on your behalf, determined that all might be brought safely and freely to eternal rest.
Look to her and she will plead your cause, because in her humility, she knows the gift of Life. O' how fortunate you are, children of humanity, to have been given such a treasure who so often is taken for granted, overlooked, and dismissed with indifference and ingratitude. How fortunate you are for her "fiat"!
Yet, as a Merciful Father, I listen and I will intervene. For what father would hand his children a snake or poison them or do them harm? A father who loves is a father who gives; and I am a Father Who is waiting and will give, just as in My Son's parable of the prodigal son who was redeemed through grace.
I wait; I watch; I listen; and My Judgment is a judgment of Justice. You, children of humanity, know not the day, the hour nor the time, not the place nor the event. Perhaps then, it is time for you to amend your lives and to be enlightened, as if today was your last.
Perhaps, it is time for you to love, as if today was your last opportunity to love; and perhaps it is time for you to be grateful, as if today was your last chance to give praise and thanksgiving to Me for your life. Yes, just perhaps today! Peace.

Little children, praised be Jesus!
Little ones, may the Lord bless you. May His Face shine upon you, and may He be gracious to you. May the Lord show you His kindness and grant you Peace. May you, children, share this blessing with all people of all faiths around the world so that Peace may be yours. May God's Face shine, shine upon you! May He truly be gracious to you.
The Magi came in awe, their eyes drawn to the Face of God which shone upon them with Peace and Love. The purity and innocence dwelled within us. The holiness was ours because of Jesus.
Receive this blessing; for as soon as the Magi left, then soon chaos unfolded with the killings of the Holy Innocents. Jealousy, rage and anger tried to destroy all that was good.
Keep within your hearts all that is good, and you will be at peace. Reject those who desire to do harm and to create malice and calumny, and those who are angry. Be the Love of Jesus and His Face will always shine upon you, and He will always be gracious to you. You must abandon yourselves to God in total filial trust!
The time of Joy is to be had; but where there is Peace, not far behind are those who desire to destroy it and cause chaos, and who would even like to see you completely disarmed and vulnerable to death, the death of evil, not of Good.
Surround yourselves and clothe yourselves with this purity and innocence; and know that if you walk with God, He walks with you, and you will never be alone.

Little children, praised be Jesus.
Little ones, take guard over your hearts; and know that with this blessing tonight I give you protection, safety and discernment, so that you may have the prudence and wisdom to carry on in your lives according to the Will of God the Father.
With this, you should be very much at peace in knowing that you can tap into God in your humility, in your reverence, and in your love, and that He can radiate His Love through you. I take your intentions and petitions to my most Immaculate Heart, as I always do for you; because I love you, just as I love all the children of this world.
I know that there are many things troubling you and weighing heavy on your hearts. As I once told you before, my beloved Peter, you must move to the forefront. You must go ahead and challenge, confront, and do what is necessary, at all costs, to uphold the your own dignity and your soul's well-being, as well as the dignity of the great grace with which my Son has blessed you in my most loved bookstore.
Moreover, you must move to a point where you can also confront and challenge another party, namely your companion, so that you can be at peace. Likewise, you must confront and challenge your friend's family so that they know that you are not another person trying to divide what they believe their family is, but rather that you are there to uphold what you believe a true family should be.
I also give you a blessing from my most beloved saint (St. John Neumann), so that he can come to your aid as I come to your aid, and as all the saints are rising to this occasion at the Center of my Immaculate Heart.
There are also many people who wish to move closer. They want to know that God is with them and that the Eucharistic Reign shall unfold most brilliantly and valiantly, and most evidently with the enlightenment of the soul in the minds and hearts of all mankind.
I know as your Mother that much of what you comprehend is limited, but that your spirit knows what is of God and what the outcome will be. So pray and join together, and know that you are blessed in the Name of God the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
I am a proud Mother because I am yours.
DAILY OFFERING PRAYER - O Jesus, through the Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart of Mary, I offer You my prayers, works, joys, and sufferings of this day in union with the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass throughout the world.

My dear little children, praised be Jesus!
Little ones, do not be fearful of being overlooked or losing your position within your community as people begin to come here. God loves each one of you very much.
I am here for all of you, not simply for any one person.
Do not be more concerned about your own advancement than about the desires of God.
Do not be envious or compete for favoritism.
God will bless all of you and give you the grace to share the gift of kindness with others. Bless those who do well and God will bless you.
This is a great teaching from the Saints who approached the Throne of God asking for this great gift and blessing from Heaven to be bestowed upon your community as my plan unfolds. God has unlimited Love to give and desires to give to you.
In this time of preparation, little children, pastoral care must be at the forefront of the unveiling of My Son’s Mercy.
It is the priests who speak as the voice of my Son and must first gather the flock together.
It is necessary for them to educate and disseminate my words granted from Heaven to those people in your community.
Your community is first to receive and your priests are your Shepherds leading you in the Truth of my Son.
Afterwards, other forms of preparation can unfold with ease based upon the cooperation and willingness of your community members.
Thank God above, little children, for His great Love for you and for picking this most beautiful, humble place as the Center of My Immaculate Heart; and from here the unveiling of my Son’s Mercy will commence.
Thank the two instrumental Saints of love, St. Vincent DePaul and St. Elizabeth Ann Seton. Thank the Saints which followed in their footsteps and their ancestors down through your bloodlines along with the entire Communion of Saints for their faith and trust in God.

I have told you self is your enemy for self will listen to the lies of lucifer and so lead you away from Me. Look at the Truth and begin to die to the desires of self and all Truth will become clear to you.

You must begin to fight the things of this world. The more that you fight, the easier it will become and the more you will see and understand My Ways. Do not give in to the temptations for the more that you give in, the more they will put before you and the more difficult you will find to fight.
The more you fight, the easier you will find it to overcome. Trust Me, children, you are in a spiritual battle where the evil one wishes to take you away from Me. I Love you, begin now and show this world that you believe in Me. I, your Jesus, Love you.

Look to the Truth, My children, and recognise My Truth. It is all around if you are willing to look for it. It is not the truth of this world for it only promotes self whereas My Truth tells you that you must die to self. It is only through dying to self that you will be able to see and follow My Path clearly. Look to My Truth in all situations and do not allow this world to deceive you with its treachery and lies.
I Love you, My children, and I give you these Words to guide you to the Truth. Trust in Me and only Me for I am your God and I am Coming soon to take you from the evil that surrounds you. Trust in Me and My Love for you, follow in My Footsteps. I, your Jesus, Love you.

Come, My beloved children, and follow Me upon this Path of Love. Do not be afraid to show My Love to all that you meet. Do not be afraid of those who will condemn you for they first condemned Me and will condemn you for following Me. I am with you and I am guiding you as soon as you say ‘yes’ to My Ways. Love is all that you need for this journey. Yes, you will have many trials to endure but these will strengthen you in My Love.
Remember, this world cannot give you happiness only I can do this for you. Look only to My Truth and let Me guide you in this Journey of Love. I am your God and I call you to listen to Me. Look, I give you Truth, it is up to you to take it or not. I will not force you for Love does not force anyone to believe. I Love you. Come listen, children, I Love you.

My children, the times are changing. Love has grown cold and mankind is becoming more evil as each day goes by for there is no one to show them the Truth. I have given you the Advocate, My Holy Spirit, to help you but you deny His assistance and so He is left powerless to help you.
Look at the Truth. I have given you everything you need to do My Work, all you need is faith to believe and all will begin for My Love will dispel all darkness. All that is evil will fall before My Love.
My Love is your weapon. The weapon of Love will begin as a spark but with faith it will soon grow into a mighty forest fire.
Trust in Me and what I say to you. Love all that you meet and do not judge them. My Love will be able to flow freely through you.
I need you, My children, to change this earth back to what I created it to be. Begin the Revolution of Love and let My people see that I am Alive in you. I await your response to My call. I Love you.

Look again, My children, at your lives and see what is not of Me. See what you do that goes against My Teachings, My Will. Look at the Truth, My little ones, and come away from these things of the world for I am Coming and soon. I am Coming to reclaim what is rightfully Mine.
I am the Truth and without Truth in your lives you cannot follow Me. I look at so many of you that say that you follow Me but all I see is blindness and lies.
You do not follow Me if you do not love your neighbour; you do not follow Me if your only desires are for the things of this world. Look at the Truth and then come follow Me and I will Teach you in the Ways of Love. I Love you, My children. I, your Jesus, Love you.

Jesus:
My children, let My Love flow through you. Let My Will be your will and do not listen to the tauntings of the evil one for he will try to draw you away from Me. My Love is given to you to guide you into the Truth.
Look, My children, and see the Truth of what I say. I am the Way, the Truth and the Light. Anyone who comes to Me will never be left wanting. All you have to do is trust in Me and My Love for you. I am your God and I am Coming soon to relieve you from your struggles.
Believe in Me, children, and all that you know will change and the scales will fall from your eyes and My Gift of Understanding will be yours. Look only to Love and you will see the Truth and understand what I say. I Love you, children, come seek Me, I Love you.

Jesus:
My people, listen to My calls as they ring out all over this world calling you for the last times. You do not realise what you have called down upon yourselves with your sin. Come back to Me before it is too late. I am Warning you, it is you that bring this upon yourselves with your sin. All is about to begin, the evil one has gained sufficient power in order to bring this earth to its knees.
Oh, My children, look at what you have done in your greed and come away from this danger and come, follow Me. I Love you and I ask for your help in saving as many of your brothers and sisters as possible. Look at the Truth; so many are dying and going to hell. Very few are entering the Kingdom of Our Father. Come, children, and listen to My calls. I Love you.

Jesus:
I am the Truth. When you come to Me, you too will only follow the Truth. Truth is Love and Love is Truth. Look at what I am saying: if all peoples are My children then how can you reject one of My children and still say you are a follower of Mine?
Remember, even your enemy is My child! This is why I have said, love your enemy for, in Truth, Love cannot hate and if Love does hate then it ceases to be the Truth. Love goes on forever; it never dies.
I am Love and I am Truth and if you want to follow Me, then all men must come before you and you must become the servant of all as I am. I Love you.

Watch the hands of a clock, My children. Watch ten seconds slip away from you. In those ten seconds what have you achieved? It is not a long time but so much could be achieved within that time.
Soon, it will be revealed that much has been done that has undermined Me but many will not believe it because they have been caught up in the lies. It will seem impossible to believe; it is only those who have kept the Truth in their hearts that will see it in reality and understand.
Within hearts and souls is much confusion and many are lost because of it. The Truth will come to the fore but much is to happen before that but it will happen quickly.
My Houses are not all in place yet. Some have been rejected within the hearts of whom I have called to place them. Some have been ignored.
I tell you that My Houses are little lights in the darkness, little refuges prepared for My Army of Little Souls. I tell you that I have called many to be little souls within their hearts but they have refused. I tell you too that many little souls are in pain and suffering because the Truth is all but a lie. Many people see Faith as a thing to be argued over, a thing that is political; a thing that is not reverenced. That plan of the evil one has been much fulfilled.
I spoke these Words:
45 And in the hearing of all the people He said to His disciples:
46 Beware of the scribes, who desire to walk in long robes and love salutations in the marketplace and the first chairs in the synagogues and the chief rooms at feasts:
47 Who devour the houses of widows, feigning long prayer these shall receive greater damnation.
Luke 20:45-47
I speak them again for Faith has become like this for many. Beware, My children, and more so now, those who teach a false faith for they blaspheme against the very Throne of God. Let the Words of Fatima be revealed to the world for there are none so blind as those who will not see.
Look! Look around you as the very fires of hell lick at your feet, as they consume you. Soon you will see the real one emerge, the one who will plunge you into confusion. he waits for his time; the preparations are almost over. he waits in the shadows, unannounced but ready. I tell you that those who parade in their long robes are the shadows that he hides in; the darkness in which he hides.
Fear not for the Truth is at hand.
1 And he showed me a river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding from the throne of God and of the Lamb.
2 In the midst of the street thereof, and on both sides of the river, was the Tree of Life, bearing twelve fruits, yielding its fruits every month and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.
3 And there shall be no curse any more but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it and His servants shall serve Him.
4 And they shall see His Face: and His Name shall be on their foreheads.
5 And night shall be no more and they shall not need the light of the lamp nor the light of the sun because the Lord God shall enlighten them and they shall reign for ever and ever.
6 And he said to me: These words are most faithful and true. And the Lord God of the spirits of the prophets sent His Angel to shew His servants the things which must be done shortly.
7 And, Behold I come quickly. Blessed is he that keepeth the words of the prophecy of this book.
8 And I, John, who have heard and seen these things. And after I had heard and seen, I fell down to adore before the feet of the Angel, who shewed me these things.
9 And he said to me: See thou do it not: for I am thy fellow servant and of thy brethren the prophets and of them that keep the words of the prophecy of this book. Adore God.
10 And he saith to me: Seal not the words of the prophecy of this book for the time is at hand.
11 He that hurteth, let him hurt still and he that is filthy, let him be filthy still and he that is just, let him be justified still and he that is holy, let him be sanctified still.
12 Behold, I come quickly; and My reward is with Me, to render to every man according to his works.
13 I am Alpha and Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end.
14 Blessed are they that wash their robes in the Blood of the Lamb that they may have a right to the Tree of Life, and may enter in by the gates into the city.
15 Without are dogs and sorcerers and unchaste and murderers and servers of idols and every one that loveth and maketh a lie.
16 I, Jesus, have sent My Angel to testify to you these things in the churches. I am the Root and Stock of David, the Bright and Morning Star. 17 And the spirit and the bride say: Come. And he that heareth, let him say: Come. And he that thirsteth, let him come: and he that will, let him take the water of life, freely.
18 For I testify to every one that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book: If any man shall add to these things, God shall add unto him the plagues written in this book.
19 And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from these things that are written in this book.
20 He that giveth testimony of these things, saith, surely I come quickly: Amen. Come, Lord Jesus.

Message Thru Lec (01-03-09)
January 3, 2009 7:00 A.M.
Son, I am awaiting for you to be free from the many concerns of the holiday season, hence, let me resume my communication with my people thru you.
By this time, you must already be aware that the signs pointing to the fulfillment of prophecies have become more visible than before.
As you have already resolved not to ask me for the specific dates, I would say instead continue watching for the signs instead for many messengers have fallen by the wayside because they gave specific time frames in which the stated prophecies did not happen.
Son, I don't want you to lose your credibility. Remember Jonah! Did he preach that Nineveh would be destroyed in 40 days? Jonah did not understand at first why I asked him to declare a prophecy of destruction that did not happen. Did I deceive Jonah?
It may appear that way at the surface for my ways are not your ways and my thoughts are not your thoughts. I want people to know that I am a loving, merciful Creator who is slow to anger and do not punish people as they deserve. I love my creation. I wanted to give the people of Nineveh the chance to be saved, my reason for sending Jonah to warn them of devastation.
And Jonah's preaching was not in vain. The people of Nineveh believed Jonah and repented of their sins and so I did not send them the punishment that I planned for them because of the evilness of their ways. The people were saved from eternal separation from me. Jonah is a victim soul like many of my messengers in the present era.
I send messengers to help prepare people to become aware of the times they are living in so they can re-align their life's priorities and determine what matters most in eternity.

Fear not! God is your shelter (the 23rd Psalm and the Lord’s Prayer. God never fails. Don’t fail him. Call on Jesus. Jesus on the mainline, tell him what you want!
