Dragaera, the 8-bit Comic!
I really ought to make a better looking site than this. At first I thought I was too lazy, but looking at it now, I'm thinking I might be able to find the energy. Until then, enjoy!

Yes, well it's been FOUR YEARS almost exactly since my last update. While it was originally to be the last, now I understand that there was one last thing to do: post whatever remained of the unfinished month of August. Originally made just about this time 2002, these episodes are now available to view via the link at the bottom of the page. I do feel they are pretty good, obviously at the peak of my improvement and streamlining of the process I went through to make them. Enjoy, because this is really the end.

July is up, AT LAST. I was doing so well, but then I decided to not to any comics for about two and a half weeks, and cram them all into the last few days. But they're done now. Also, I got Tim and Light's response to June's comics, and I'll input Light's comics eventually. I'll probably wait until I can do June and July at once, though.

I finally plugged all of Light's comics into episodes 1-25. Whew.

I did a sort of "redesign" of the episode layouts in June. This is what I wanted them originally to look like, but I also didn't want to go through the work of actually doing it. But, I did, and now they're better looking and more printable. I know someone was wondering what that stupid line next to Q-Chan was for. Anyway, I really should redo this page... it's very, very ugly.

I finally managed to get online angelfire on a computer with a zipdrive. It's bizarre how hard it was to get those two together... anyway, I got June's installment up at last for whoever reads this. This month has a few outtakes and the introduction of a commentator. If that doesn't make any sense, read them and see if you get it. If you STILL don't get it that's probably because you were never a participant of Dragaera anyway and don't understand who the characters are. By the way, if the Dragaera trailor doesn't work, I'm sorry but it seems to have problems on most computers. I should have exported it as Flash, but I didn't know how to make a preloader at the time. Oh well.

Updates as of May 5:
May's comics are up and they all took me FOREVER. I just barely finished the final bonus episode by May 1st exactly. Light has given me a "humor rating" on all the episodes up to #15, plus commentary so I might add that all later. But as for this month, I have nothing else to say. I am spent. but they're pretty good, I think.
Oh, and I sorted this page so the updates run backwards. I have no idea why I never did it in the first place.

That's right, I updated the comics actually close to the beginning of the month that they came out. And with commentary, no less! Well, Tim and Light still haven't got back with me, and this isn't a big enough update to update the main page, so this is all you're getting.
By the way, as for the bonus month I mentioned, I've decided and am already working on it. It's a bonus five episodes that are happening at the same time as the main plotline, so there's still enough humor to read through it.
Of course, I'll be mentioning that fact about ten times in the course of the commentary once May comes up, so no need to dwell on it. As for June, I'll be doing an "outtakes" section, and in July I'm thinking of doing a birthday celebration kind of thing. That is, if I find the time while I'm home. Enjoy.
P.S. : this page will never be redesigned, and the fact that it even exists is only evidence of my increasing dementia. And at such a young age! What a tragedy. But "All the roads we have to walk are winding..." Yeah, I'm officially nuts now. Ciao.
Updates as of Mar. 23:
Well, I got the March comics up, and sent off to Tim and Light (finally) and I'm working on April right now, already on episode 19. I may make a "bonus month" if I go fast enough.
Plus, after April, I'll be away from college and at home, with a much smaller moniter and a much crappier computer. Hopefully the comics will keep coming, but in order to take advantage of this system as much as possible, I'll be working non-stop on these, and try to finish May and some of June before I leave.

Update? Ha! More than that, this is the first day of "Dragaera, the 8-bit Comic (Online)!" We've got all of January's, and all of February's already! Wait until March for those updates, though, I don't want to get ahead of myself...
