third bassist, and newest addition to the lineup. scott moved from toledo, ohio to l.a. in the early '90s and played with a bunch of other bands before joining the ranks in the summer of 2001. he originally was a fill-in for mikey until it was definite that he wasn't returning to the band. scott is tall with a receding hairline, and there is an ongoing contest among fans as to just "how hardcore is scott?" (ie. "scott is so hardcore, he rips the tags off mattresses that say, 'do not remove under penalty of law.'")
