This project attempts to emphasize the idea that the
origins of witchcraft beliefs and accusations were a result of many interrelated
conditions and events. By linking projects,
timelines,
and maps
together, we hope to illustrate the interwoven nature of the context that
produced the witchcraft phenomenon. Since web pages are by definition interwoven
and naturally lend themselves to our purpose, we have chosen to display our
research in this medium.
