If you're an
anime fan and you don't know what seiyuu means, you should be
ashamed of yourself. ^^ As most fans know, seiyuu is the Japanese term
used to refer to voice actors/actresses. It is only used for the
original Japanese voice actors/actresses though, as dub actor/actresses
tend to simply be called VAs.
I've always been
a huge fan of seiyuu and feel that they bring out the best in anime. The
way they infuse each character which so much feeling and realistic
emotions never ceases to impress to me. So I decided to make some pages
for my absolute favorite seiyuu listing all their roles in anime (games,
CD dramas and live action are not included) and describing, with
pictures, a number of their most popular roles and my favorites. The
basic skeleton of the filmographies were initially sourced from Hitoshi
Doi, but over time I've added and corrected information for myself.
I like a lot of seiyuu, but I can't do pages for all of them. The seiyuu
below are just a few of my very favorites, and a small tribute to these
incredibly talented people.
