A Graphic Adoption Ring

I am Lady of the Lamp, mistress of the ring.

This is a webring for all those websites who (amongst other things) create free, original graphics some of which are placed up for adoption for use on personal homepages. These might include globes, shadow boxes, friendship gifts, gifts for birthday pages and secret friend activities, virtual jewelery and virtual pets (not just backgrounds!). You don't have to have pages and pages of adoptables, just one will qualify you for the ring!

Subscription is open to anyone over the age of 16 but you must comply with the rules below.

  • First and foremost, the Graphic Genie Webring is a ring for sites that offer out adoptable graphics of any description providing they are in accordance with the ring rules. You do not have to have a site that relates only to graphics. If your site is graphic orientated, you must offer some of these out as adoptions. The graphics must be in some way made by you, not just clipart images. Any level of graphic ability is accepted. Sites that offer adoptable graphics with an awarness raising theme are especially welcome.

  • You must have a personal website, no business sites please.

  • You must submit the exact url that you place the ring fragment on. Sites have two weeks to add their fragments. After two weeks your site will be automatically removed from the queue.

  • You must be over 16 years old and your site MUST be family/child safe, this includes, but is not limited to references to or depictions of child abuse, pornography, racial intolerance, sites depicting or condoning any type of violence or criminal activity.

  • When you have found the adoptable graphic you are looking for, you MUST link it back to the creators site if they have asked for you to do so. Don't just grab the graphic and run!

    By law, we cannot collect personal information on anyone under the age of 13. Because of this we do not allow anyone 13 or under to Join a RingSurf Net Ring, or become a Ringmaster, and thus we are forced to ask you to specify your birthdate.
