Other: Lady Une is an Oz Lieutenant Colonel and is the aide to Treize. She is deeply in love with Treize and this fact turns out to be the root of Une's...problem. The problem is, she has split personalities. While going to far during a battle with the Gundams and ordering Noin to blow up a colony, Noin refused and Lady Une slapped her. After she did, Treize called her up and told her to "be more elegant..." Because of this statement and her need to please him, Lady Une creates a second personality out of her own anxiety about not understanding his true intentions. The "other" Lady Une is almost the oppisite of the other one. She hates war, is a saintly figure, and has an attractive ideology. She also contributes to the bettering of Oz's image. While she kinda goes back and forth from personalities through the series, she eventually ends up sticking with the "nice one."
Une was attacked by Relena at one point because Lady Une killed her father and some of representitives that were with him. After that, Quinze shoots her and lands her in the hospital. She's in there for a while but gets out in order to save Treize in a battle. She is also the one who meets Zechs when he turns back into Milliardo Peacecraft and figures out who he is. When Treize has his last battle with WuFei, she surrenders Oz after he dies.
During the Endless Waltz, Une starts a group called the Preventers Intelligence Bureau which works to quell disturbances before they arise. She recruits Noin and Sally for her project and eventually lets Milliardo on as well. She sends her forces in to help the Gundams in the final battle against Mariemaia's forces. When Relena is trapped within Mariemaia's fortress and Dekim goes on his shooting rampage, Lady Une almost kills Dekim (but doesn't) and then "adopts" Mariemaia.
MY TAKE
Lady Une is creepy with a capital C! Plus, she's obviously obsessed with Treize which just adds to the creepiness. And, she SLAPS NOIN which pisses me off a lot. Anyway, when she's in "bad mode" she's kinda cool with all of the killing and coldness and everything. But I just think that in "nice mode," she's a total wuss and I really don't like her all that much. The fact that she kinda levels out in Endless Waltz is cool because she's still nice but stars something to stop disturbances by using force if necessary. Her character is deep and very loyal but, no matter which way you slice it, she's just weird!
