Knifes is truely merciless. His main goal is to destroy all human beings, because he believes they are parasites. This may be a *bit* easy to discredit, but he is in fact Vash's twin brother. Dispite his unpitying perception on the human race, he's can come off as a bit of and enviromentalist. If you consider taking random lifes as enviromentally-friendly, yes, he is. He never had much of an attachment to Rem at all, and it was mostly his fault she's dead. Or rather, died much before her time. His philosophy is that in order to save the butterfly, one must kill the spider. (How gruesome, ne?) Knifes seems to have picked up Legato on a whim.
