The Lords of Bretonnia assemble in Couronne during the mid-winter feast to discuss matters of import to the Kingdom. King Louen listens to any disputes between the Dukes and their Barons and passes judement on them. Difficult political questions are often resolved by trial of combat with the King presiding. A special courtyard is reserved for this and there are permanent wooden balconies around it for the Dukes and other members of the Noble class to view the combat.
