The Catalan flag in the current Franja de Ponent (West Strip)
In the Castle of Alcanyis exist some frescoes where appear some flags. They are dated in the 14th century. The first two flags or pennons contain three bars or red stripes in yellow background. One of them is totally triangular but not the other.

In these paintings also appears a flag very similar to the senyera of the conquest of Valencia.
