Rating: PG
Notes: Just saw the movie again today, and well...I was inspired. It's
amazing how much more you see the second time around. The touches and so
forth. This is technically another 30-Word story, double length in penance for
missing last night. However, I'm working on a longer piece. Again, Ana
selflessly went over this and turned it from just passable into comprehensible.
She is my light. And massive thanks to Kayte/Kerby, without whom *none* of
this would've been possible. And yeah, the notes are longer than the fic. :)
Breath rasped in and out of Alan's lungs as he raced up the metal stairs. "No,
Billy! Stop!"
Alan's panic twisted reality; the air felt heavy, thick like water or mud. He
couldn't run fast enough, yell loud enough. 'God, not you! Please, not you!'
he begged in his mind the way he couldn't out loud.
"Billy!" A look, he knew that look, and Billy was gone. Alan stood still, but
his stomach and heart had just been dashed down onto the rocks beneath them.
