The Marching Band Season has ended, and now the Raider concert band is doing an awesome job with Christmas and Spring concerts. Unfortunately, I don't have any pictures of the concert band, and I haven't yet figured out how to add music to this page, but I recently got a digital video camera, so hopefully next season I will be able to put video of the band's field show online. For now, the pictures and my enthusiasm will have to do. I miss being a part of this band so much!
Anyway, the band went to Boyertown on Saturday, September 27th. They competed against some very large, very accomplished high school bands, and they were awesome. The band was rated Superior (the highest rating) in all categories, and received the Marching an Maneuvering award. They lost the Best Overall Band award by only 2 points to Neshaminy. As always, they were absolutely awesome and I am sooooo proud of them.
The band also performed at the William Tennent band adjudication, where I believe the received the highest ratings. They also performed at their own Land of the Running Water Band Adjudication, at which they were not competing, but after the show were given their scores (Superior across the board, of course!).
Congratulations Raider Band on an outstanding season!
