Korlon's Gallery of Bryce 3D/4 Gallery

Best if viewed in 1024 x 768 Pixel Resolution or better

Welcome to a gallery of Bryce work. Bryce is a nice design program for designing 3d enviroments. These can be rendered as either flat images or you can work with camera elements within the program to show the three dimensional aspect of it through making movies. This combined with another program, Poser 2, you can add figures of people and animals. However I do not currently own a copy of Poser. Also due to the speed of my PC I have not yet attempted to render a 3d movie yet. It takes approximately ten minutes to even render one of these flat images. I shudder to think what amount of time it would take to render a movie. I learned alot about rendering and generating textures from using this particular program. There are other more elaborate and easier to use world builders out there but this one kind of grows on you. Enjoy!!!

All thumbnails were generated using Irfanview32. Irfanview is an excellent program and has relatively low system resources for what it is capable of. I often run this in the background to crop and copy images for pasting and manipulating within photoshop. As an added bonus the installer for this program fits neatly on a 3.5 floppy disk. There are plugins also available. Please download it and give it a shot. Thanks to Irfan Skiljan for writing and compiling such a nice program. I've been a fan of this one for many years.

Bryce 3D & 4 Gallery

Aegis Cove Project
These are based on written descriptions, topographical maps, and other material a friend created as a setting for a pen and paper roleplaying game. We sat down and tweaked the first one for about four hours on a rainy saturday afternoon.
Thumbnail Description
Clan Aegis Cove The Cove as described by my friend and based on his topographical map.
Aegis Cove 2 This is the same view as above. Except I added a sun effect within Photoshop
Dark Cliffs/Night Cliffs Series
Thumbnail Description
I wanted to do a spooky night shore like one I had a dream about and here are the results.
Dark Cliffs My first view of the dark cliffs.
Night Cliffs This is the same view as above. Except I added an almost full moon and more fog for effect.
Orbital Series
Thumbnail Description
Oribital 1 My first orbital design. This was done in Bryce 3d as a cover for a CD project I was working on.
Oribital 2 Another from my orbital series for cd covers. This time I worked in Bryce 4, notice more color and texture depth.
Pyramid Dream Wallpapers
Thumbnail Description
Pyramid Dream 1 My first surrealist wallpaper based on a pyramid and sphere theme. Done in Bryce 3d.
Pyramid Dream 2 Second edit of the Pyramid dream theme. I used this one on my machine at work for a bit in 2000.
Pyramid Dream 3 When I got Bryce 4 I decided to revisit my Pyramid Dream theme again. Again notice how much richer the textures and color depths are.
