Welcome to my gallery of photoshop edited images and other work I have done besides textures, which have their own page. Below you will find samples of some of my work and research into editing and manipulating photos within Photoshop. Be warned however that many of the images below conatain artistic nudity. This is due to the fact that most of the really high resolution images and scans on the internet being of that particular nature. At this moment I am searching for someone in my area to model for more artistic shots and do some pseudo commercial work. However I am not made of money. Lights, cameras, sets, and studios are not currently at my disposal. Hence I work with the best images I can garner currently. Hopefully soon I will be able to post work I have photographed and manipulated. I will however post the images conatining nudity in their own sections along with a warning.
All thumbnails were generated using Irfanview32. Irfanview is an excellent program and has relatively low system resources for what it is capable of. I often run this in the background to crop and copy images for pasting and manipulating within photoshop. As an added bonus the installer for this program fits neatly on a 3.5 floppy disk. There are plugins also available. Please download it and give it a shot. Thanks to Irfan Skiljan for writing and compiling such a nice program. I've been a fan of this one for many years.

Summer 2003 Images
Thumbnail Description One of my first experiements with scaling twirled textures. Also this was initially done as a black and white image then colorized. The texture was generated by use of noise, twirl, embossing, and bas relief filters. I love this image. A nice liquid metal. Very shiny! I did a series of Sun and celestial pattern images in late May/Early June in honor of my friend Amy, who love those type designs. God Bless you Amy. We miss you. My second favorite of my sun series from May/June. One of my favorite wallpapers. I created this in August when experimenting with Blacklight seeming textures. Groovy!!! I felt the need to put this one out here because it's very personal and I created this in one of those dark times of the soul. Another deep one I created in August generated from the same texture set I used with the previous image. This interesting but kind of nasty texture was an experiment. Building on the twirl and embossing experiences from previous projects and some creative use of artistic filters I achieved this old paint in the can or chewed gum look. Thus we have Goo! I created this image on 9/12/03. Based on some Mosaic tunneling filters applied to some previous textures I had generated. A nice Bday present from me to me. Enjoy!! I must've read too much Gibson recently while listening to some old Skool Underworld. Anyway the result has been some really great mosaic tunnels combined with other images. I consider this image the exact opposite of the "Eyes of Despair" image above. One of my original images working with the Radial Mosaic filter and some blurs. This image reminds me of the tunnels in cloud city from Empire Strikes back. The same image as above with an ink wash Sumi-E filter and another artistic filter applied which bring forth detail almost lost in the original image. Down we go!
My Nebula Images
Thumbnail Description This is a Solar Scene which I created totally using a combination of Photoshop's layering, masking, and filtering techniques. (800 x 600 Pixels) This is a larger view of the above image with a slightly higher resolution. (1024 x 768 pixels) Another of my nebula series. I decided to play about more with layering more smokey textures. I think I shall get exactly what I am looking for soon. 8-)
Crista Nicole
Crista Nicole graced the pages of Playboy. I did some work with several of the better scans I received.
Warning these images contain nudity!!!!!Thumbnail Description A nice effect done by layering progressions of a chrome filter in series and creative erasure of the orignal image over a fully chromed version of the original image. I created this oil painting effect purposefully without using the Oil Paint filter through creative use of adding noise and blur tools on the original image. This is a cropped version of the orignal Crista Nicole Image I used for the above images.
My "Polaroid" Period
One night I had the Idea for creating a series of wallpapers based around a series of images arranged to give the feel of scattered polaroids on a table or floor. For my subject I decided to use images of Brooke Richards who has graced the pages of Penthouse with her beauty. Sorry but due to the number of images involved I have not included the original images for comparison.
Warning these images contain no nudity. However they are suggestive.Thumbnail Description Alot went into acheiving the polaroid effect. It involved copying and pasting each image to a white background. Then cutting that and pasting it to the final background. Then a little fine rotation, add drop shadow for depth, a little noise on the white areas, and we have the nice little illusion of scattered polaroid photographs. This was my second attempt. My first isn't worth an honorable mention. LOL After acheiving my goal of the scattered photo effect I decided that I would attempt to place them on a non-flat backgroung to add some depth. Using techniques detailed in my texture section I first created a background and then recreated my polaroid effect. This is the result and I must say I am realitively pleased, but will revisit this theme again sometime in the future using photos of my own composition.
Lifts and Filtering Guest Starring Wiley Rey
Wiley Rey was featured as a centerfold in playboy. I was in the mood to experiment with lifts and creating the illusion of a virtual girl in cyberspace the day a friend sent me these scans.
Warning these images contain nudity!!!!!Thumbnail Description I started with a solid black background then added difference clouds applied a blur or three. Next I lifted Ms Rey from her lovely fireplace setting and added her lovely countenance to my virtual world. 8-) I started by using several glass effects and a few difference clouds to achieve the virtual world feel background. Then using the same lift technique as above I added Ms. Rey to this world. I also decided to use a color burn technique to add to the artificiality of it all. This was actually my first attempt. The one above was version 2.0 Here again is the original image I worked with to achieve the virtual girl effect.
Painting 101 Guest Starring Kylie Bax
Now here is pure simplicity unto itself. A friend sent me this striking image of Ms. Kylie Bax. I was going to do something completely different when I decided to apply a simple oil paint filter to the image and what do you know I achieved a very dramatic element with a very basic use of the photoshop software. I was drawn to use this image by it's very nature it is a very dramatic use of light and dark providing awesome contrast. Warning these images contain nudity!!!!! Thumbnail Description I could honestly see this as an oil painting on a wall in a gallery or over a fireplace somewhere. Then again maybe it's just me. 8-) The Original photo of Kylie Bax
Gretta
No one seems to know where the original image came from, but this image has been one of my personal favorites to experiment with. I have over a dozen finished edits of this particular picture. I think it has to do with the high resolution and the nice color depth, Warning these images contain nudity!!!!! Thumbnail Description One of my very first edits of Gretta. I later decided to go back and do a simpler version of my paint job from my original multivision concept. Here again is the original image I worked with to achieve the virtual girl effect.

Fractal Fun in Photoshop
Thumbnail Description Recently I began experimenting with a fractal filter in Photoshop. This is the first of several. I don't even remember which is my first anymore because I kept working from the same three sets to see what I could get. A second in the same series of fractals I think this was the first result in my third fractal series. I acutually incorporated this into a pyramid wallpaper design for a friend.

When relearning photoshop I again decided to do some work with the high quality scans I was receiving of playboy and penthouse models. these are the results.
