|  This is my page for Trunks. I like Future Trunks the best, but I have some pics of Trunks from the present. They're all mixed in together. I've provided a lot of info about Trunks himself and the Trunks, Android, and Cell Sagas. Future Trunks is from the future (obviously) and he comes back in time to give Goku the antidote for a heart virus that Goku will eventually catch that in Trunks's time, killed him. In Trunks's time, after Goku died, everything went downhill. A pair of androids named 17 and 18 appeared and started destroying all the cities on Earth. That was around the time that Trunks was born. They held a tournament and all the Z Warriors (Krillin, Yamucha, Tien, Piccolo, and Prince Vegeta who was Trunks's dad) died except for Gohan. So throughout the years, Gohan battled the androids all by himself. Then Trunks wanted to become a Super Saijin and wanted Gohan to train him. Gohan did, but Trunks never became a Super Saijin. When Gohan died in a battle with the androids, Trunks became so angry that he finally became a Super Saijin.
For a couple years, Trunks took the androids on himself and almost died. His mom, Bulma, had been making a time machine to go back to give Goku the antidote. So after Trunks nearly died, he realized that he could not beat the androids and so wanted to at least change another time so that that Earth would not be in total destruction as the Earth in his time was.
He went back in time and killed Frieza, who was going to destroy Earth, gave Goku the antidote and came back three years later to help the Z Warriors kill the androids. Instead, he saw that his traveling back in time drastically changed the past, more than he had originally thought, because instead of the androids that he knew, there were two totally different androids. The Z Warriors fought with those androids and killed one, but one got away. Bulma told everyone that the android that had gotten away was Dr. Gero, who Trunks knew as the creator of androids 17 and 18.
Gero fled back to his lab to wake up 17 and 18 and when he did, they killed him. Then the real fighting began with the androids Trunks knew. Little did everyone know, that there was an even greater danger lurking about. His name was Cell and he traveled back in time to from the future also(way farther in the future than Trunks)to eat the androids so he could reach "ultimate perfection" as he liked to put it. With the androids' energy, he would become the most powerful being in the universe and he was also one of Gero's creations. So he ate both 17 and 18 and he held a martial arts tournament. Everyone trained in their own way for the tournament and Vegeta and Trunks trained together in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber (wasn't that fun? lol). that made them a lot stronger because it pushed them to the breaking point. It also pushed a whole year into a day in the chamber.
During the tournament, Gohan (at 11 years-old and who was slightly stronger than Cell, but didn't know it) hit Cell so hard that he threw up 18. Cell was mad so he was going to self destruct and blow himself and the whole planet up. Goku sacrificed himself and used a special technique called the Instant Transmission to take him to another planet to self destruct. Cell never died, and when he came back, he made a big dust cloud and shot an energy beam out and it killed Trunks. Gohan eventually killed Cell and the Z Warriors used the dragonballs to wish back everyone who had been killed by Cell so that they all could live. That means Trunks was alive again. :) So everything was okay after that and Trunks went back to his own time and killed the androids there since he was much stronger than he used to be. He also killed Cell from his time when Cell was going to steal his time machine. That's it for Future Trunks.
Confused about the different times part? So am I. Lol. But I think I have it figured out. I think there are three different times. The past that Trunks travels to, Trunks's time, and Cell's time we'll call it. Cell said that he stole the time machine from Trunks when Trunks was going to go to the past to tell everyone that he had killed the androids in his time. Cell had killed Trunks in order to get the time machine, so that means that Trunks is dead in some time. :'( So that means that Trunks had already been in the past and everything and that's why I think it's a different time altogether. Cell arrived in the past before Trunks ever did and he was in hiding and gathering energy. Then Trunks came from his time, when he was still battling the androids and gave the antidote to Goku. He came back and Cell had matured and was already killing people. Trunks and Krillin went and destroyed Gero's lab and made sure to destroy Cell that was growing in the laboratory. After Gohan killed the Cell that had traveled back in time, Trunks went back to his time and killed the androids. Remember how Cell said he stole the time machine from Trunks? Well the Cell from Trunks's time tries to steal it too, but Trunks is stronger and kills him. So at this point, all the Cells are dead. :)
