Since something so small
Could make our relationship end
My heart will never mend
I loved you, I gave you my heart
And you ripped it apart
I wanted and longed for you everyday
You didn’t give a shit either way
I trusted you
What a stupid thing to do
I kept my promises and stayed true
You broke yours and never had a clue
When you got sick of this game
Your excuses became lame
You picked a fight
And hurt me with all your might
I hope someday you’ll see
What you did to me
But I doubt you pay it any mind
You think its all behind
You tell me to move on like you
But its so hard to do
Cause I said I love you
I meant it and still do
