Major League Baseball 9/9/07: Local boy, Tim Wakefield, pitcher for the Boston Red Sox, was born in Melbourne, Florida attended Eau Gallie High School and the Florida Institute of Technology (FIT). He arguably will go down as one of the greatest knuckleball pitchers in history. He currently has a win-loss record of 16-10 with an ERA of 4.68. I met him at Mike Cowart's home back in the '80's. They went to school together and grew up in the same neighborhood. It's great to see a local boy make good. Congrats! |

Orlando Predators The Preds finished the 2007 regular season 8-8 placing 3rd of 5 in the Southern Division and 5th of 9 in the National Conference. They made the playoffs for the 16th consecutive year (AFL record) but were eliminated Friday 6/29/07 in the Wild Card (first) Round by the Philadelphia Soul by a score of 26-41. |

9/7/07 Unfortunately I had to pull all my designs
because of infringement rights. Though I never used a logo or the font
used by the teams, I was informed I can't even implicate a team. I am
currently working on generalized sports designs.
