Business Analyst 6/98-8/2000 Technology Consultants International - On Contract with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Florida - Virtual Office Release 2.3.1, 2.3.2, & 2.3.2.01 Maintenance Releases.

Navigation Test Lead: VO Release 2.3.2: 10/99 – 8/2000 A continuation of duties of Release 2.3.1, with direct reporting to CDF Management. Expanded testing and coordination of Navigation test duties to include Web Eligibility and Benefits, Medical Clearances, Medical Clearance Windows (Legacy), Practice Management System (PMS), Online Claims, Batch Claims and Institutional Claims, Data Mart Provider, Employee Data Mart, MSO, Quest, CCRR. Manage the integration and testing, coordination between development, testing, release engineering, and Corporate Integration test teams. Perform daily status meetings with development staff (Team Leads) Release Engineers and Management. Maintain and distribute daily Issue report, meet with development to review and prioritize bugs and manage service center requests between development, Navigation Test, and Corporate Integration Test. 

Navigation Test Analyst – VO Release 2.3.1 6/98-10/99. Navigation Test/Integration testing, Verify ability of software to operate across platforms from remote client (legacy and Web browsers), to UNIX Server, and then to mainframe and back. Responsible for Eligibility and Benefits via legacy system processing, and Eligibility and Benefits testing on Web platform, and Web Claims interfaces. Verified ability to communicate with server through any browser program, various email systems as well as legacy systems (EDI, Tuxedo, Diamond Health care systems). Utilize various tools such as: ABC Flowcharter, SQA testing tools, Oracle w/SQL+, CICS, Extra!, SQA Suite, KEA X! to test and verify functionality of the product. Developed, drafted and executed test plans for Navigation Test, Unit Test of EDI (online commerce pipeline) and verified the string and unit test coverage for assigned capabilities. Coordinated with Business Integration Management team, developers for Mainframe modules, UNIX Modules, NT and Web modules. Coordinated results/issues with development teams, Corporate Integration Testing team, and testing support teams. Executed and updated all test plans for release 2.3.1, 2.3.2 and maintenance releases. All test plans were utilized to develop official corporate training documentation. All test plans completed ahead of schedule. 


Testing Analyst, 5/97 - 6/98, Citibank Universal Card Services - Project “APOLLO” credit application processing system. Identified test criteria, test data, and designed test plans to be utilized in testing this new system. Performed Unit, System and regression testing. Integrated this software with existing legacy systems (X-Windows on UNIX platform running in window of a NT workstation) This was the company’s first exposure to an NT based product, and I assisted with the installation of systems and training of credit and risk control associates. 

Testing Analyst, 12/96 - 5/97, Citibank Universal Card Services - Project “APOLLO” GUI design Team. Designed the layout and functionality of the new software designed to replace TOTAL Systems Credit application processing. Designed how the Customer data, Credit Bureau data (TRW, Trans Union, and Equifax), address verification systems were integrated into the screens to be utilized by production associates. Was recruited by this group to participate on the testing phase.

Business Analyst, UAT Quality Assurance Testing Manager 5/95-7/96, AT&T Universal Card Services - Responsible for the Quality Assurance software integraton testing on various UWIN programs supporting the Credit, Risk Control, and Customer Service production areas. This was normally for changes to existing programs currently in use by production associates. However, there were some new initiatives and projects that I also supported such as the UCS Web Site, On-Line Statements, and Change in Terms projects. Wrote and executed test plans, set up Business Cases, requirements and set up test data for Unit testing, and regression testing. Jobs normally slotted for 30 days or less before wide release to production employees. Was trained and utilized Lotus Notes, ABC Flowcharter. Was officially trained by Mercury Interactive trainers in the use of Xrunner automated testing tool. The tool to be utilized in a Unix Xwindows environment. Good understanding of UNIX/X-windows, Expert user of TSYS (Total Systems) software /screens including native mode pass-thru screens (credit card).  Recognized as a fast learner of new software and office programs. 

TDH Enterprises 5/92-05/2001 (Home Based Business) Hardware technician and troubleshooting service provider. Design, build, install and service new PCs for private individuals and small businesses around the Jacksonville Florida area. Perform upgrades, troubleshoot hardware and provide training on Personal computers, their operation and maintenance. Knowledgeable in all areas of building and maintaining PC systems, printers, networks, LAN, internet and telephony systems attached. Expert on installation of CPUs, RAM, Hard drives, modems, network cards and routers, motherboard replacements, power supply replacements etc. 

Application testing 1991-1992 AT&T Universal Card Services, Participated on phase I and Phase II of the UWIN design and testing team (User Acceptance). This team took a half-completed application, and identified functionality required by production associates and assisted developers with the design of the application. Then performed Unit, String and Production testing of the product before delivering it to production in 1991. This was the primary program utilized by all production associates to handle customer data, account data and charge information for Credit, Risk Control, Customer Service, Claims, Fraud Investigators and Code 10 associates. After testing was completed in 1/92, we became trainers of the software to all production associates and acted as expert users on the production floor to support the software.

Gamma Tester: Mustang Software’s Wildcat 5 Net Server, 1995-1996 software. The first software on the market to combine BBS functionality with Internet/Web management. For 12 months I ran a BBS using this software with 6 access lines and the ability to access the service through the web. Performed all set up, design and hardware configuration. Also managed the site, designed and coded HTML pages to be used on the BBS using HotMetal Pro, HotDog HTML, FrontPage 97, and numerous other products to design and improve system functionality. Managed the user databases, user security profiles, file download areas and multi-user gaming. Integrated a Kali Multiplayer Game Server with the Mustang 5 to allow users to play games such as doom and descent on my server.  

Beta 0 Tester for Microsoft’s Asheron’s Call online Role Playing game. This completed testing in November 99 and is in wide release at this time.


Other Experience

Senior Credit Analyst 4/90 - 5/97 - AT&T Universal Card, Citibank Universal Card, (Citibank bought AT&T UCS in 1997). Highly developed oral and written communication skills. Highly trained in all phases of Credit Operations, including application processing, telephones, correspondence, credit queues (incomplete applications), Credit line increases, Supervisory level callbacks and referrals, Risk management, and call center management and staffing. Trained new and existing associates on new systems , wrote methods and procedures utilized by the production floor. 

Employee Suggestion Evaluator and investigator- 10/94-5/95: Reviewed and evaluated employee suggestions for improvements to processes, feasibility, cost to implement and cost savings to company over a 12 month period. Accepted ideas were implemented and employee awarded a 10 percent of 1 years savings up to a maximum of 10K. Reviewed an average of 30 suggestions per week, responding to each in writing or interview. 

Risk Analyst 9/93 - 2/95 - AT&T Universal Card Services Process fraud analysis and closure of accounts showing fraudulent activity. Closed accounts, and reissued new plastics to affected cardholders, Experienced in transactions, draft retrievals, can calls (card activation calls) Risk Analysis/Credit continuous Improvement team, Designed, drafted and published the Methods and procedures utilized by this specialized team. Participated on the Project development team to join the Credit and Risk Analyst positions. 

Fraud Investigator 3/93 - 6/93 - AT&T Universal Card Services. Performed the daily review, identification and tracking of suspected fraud on identified high risk accounts and high risk transactions. Investigated and identified the initial and subsequent fraud transactions, processed daily fraud report, and referred findings to Code 10 and other investigators for prosecution. 

Credit Manager 1989-1990 - Norwest Consumer Financial Services, Jacksonville, Florida. Managed sales, credit and collection of new and existing accounts, set up and trained new vendors on credit processing, managed the cash desk. This position involved loan processing for consumer loans, 1st and 2nd mortgages, and dealer contracts. Performed loan closings and all documentation for all loans closed. Familiar with all processes involved with FHA and VA mortgage loans. Had the highest sales volume of 1st and 2nd mortgages of all 6 local Norwest Offices in Jacksonville. (1M+). Oversaw branch Bankruptcy accounts, and performed collections and repossessions. Managed staff of 6 customer service, administrative and collections associates.

Executive Officer/Administration Officer - USAF - 1986 - 1988 Second in command of 290 military police missile security personnel. Managed administration office, human resources, quality and audits. Direct reporting on 9 technical managers and their teams (SSgt through MSgt). Project manager of : Awards and decorations, counseling, information security officer, disciplinary actions (administrative and punitive). Liaison with base legal counsel. Instrumented change from paper files to computer based administration system. All programs rated excellent by IG and HQ inspector teams two years in a row. My office became a major resource pool for higher admin offices to hire experienced personnel from. 

Deputy Combat Crew Commander, Squadron Command Post USAF 1984-1986- 66th Strategic Missile Squadron, Ellsworth AFB SD. Managed the daily operation, maintenance and security of between 10 and 150 Minuteman II Inter-Continental Ballistic Missiles (Nuclear Missiles), their security teams, and maintenance crews. Trained and drilled for quick response to threats of nuclear attack. Managed flight security, maintenance and support staff. Squadron Command Post position involved leading the other 5 Launch Control Centers in daily status, targeting data, and coordination between other squadrons.  Rated Highly Qualified by Inspector General evaluation team, SMES evaluation team and 44th missile group inspectors. Top 10 line crew member for 18 of 24 straight months starting in 12/84,. TOP SECRET ESI security clearance (Nuclear Launch) and full 10 year background check. Endured incredible levels of Stress in this position.
