Harvest Moon is an RPG game for Super Nintendo, PlayStation, PS2, and N64. I was first introduced to this game when my pathetic Peg rather play a farming game than to talk on the phone with sweet me. I was wondering how a farming game can be so much fun. Lo and behold, Harvest Moon, Back to Nature for Playstation console became a necessity to me. I am a girl playing the role of Jack, a young farmer who not only has to farm, but he also has to try to win the heart of the girl of his dreams. The games often have five girls to choose from.
I guess the addictiveness of this game originates from the roleplaying fantasy it spins for the player. The player becomes Jack and interact with as many as 50 AI (artificial intelligent) characters.
You want to be their friend? Okay, bribe them with their favorite stuff. Mayor Thomas likes wine. Give the geezer some stinking booze. Rick likes booze, spend some money you cheapo.
The object of the game is to revive a dead farm your gramps left you to tend. A whole town judges your actions at the end of the game. Three years for BTN, PS HM. (Back to nature, playstation, Harvest moon, for you dumb@asses.
Each character you meet have their stories to tell. If you befriend them, then congrats, you have a friend you no-life. Better yet, try to win a girl's heart. Beware, you have love rivals for every girl. Befriend the rival and snatch the girl. The sorry loser will be alone and heartbroken and never know what went wrong.

The boy in the cap is the boy you control. WHAT A PLAYER!! Jack (I named my character Meis after a notorious, flirty, young pervert) can fish, water his crops, ride his horse, cook, flirt, bribe, chop wood, hack his hens, torture his cows, give garbage to his neighbors and much more in Harvest Moon Back to nature. Don't play if you are impatient. But if you want to have a unique game playing experience, give the Hm titles a chance. You might like it lots!
