November 1775: Mr. Lorry and Lucie Manette take Dr. Manette to England.

March 1780: Charles Darnay is tried for treason; a resemblence between Charles Darnay and Sydney Carton is found

Summer 1780: Marquis St. Evremonde runs over child with carriage; Marquis is found murdered the next morning

Summer 1781: Carton promises Lucie that he will "embrace any sacrifice" for her

Summer 1781: Lucie Manette and Charles Darnay are married

1783: Little Lucie Darnay is born

July 1789: The start of the French Revolution, the Bastille is stormed

August 1792: Charles goes to Paris in order to help Gabelle; taken prisioner

September 1792: Lucie and her father go to Paris to try to help Charles
