Greek Mythology
»
This is only a section from a History assignment i had done this past year where my thoughts got a little interesting.
"Everybody has to go through life facing different trials and tests that can often be described as Charybdis, Circe etc. Or even the enchanting Sirens that seem too good to be true, until you realize that it is too good, but by that point its too late and you, ‘die’. Those monsters that bash at your head until your brain is a pile of useless mush. That beautiful flower inviting you to partake in the lovely aroma and then you bleed. While looking for the wretched thing that caused the pain, you realize that it was the thorns, now so evident. The blades reflect the light that has caused you to become blind. Looks can most certainly be deceiving…then again who ever thought that such pretty things like a flower could kill?" --Adrianne Kolano If you don't understand what the heck i was talking about, pick up a book on greek mythology or a copy of the Odyssey.
