Cosplay at the Anime Expo 2001!!

So I went to AX and I had a blast. There were so many people there dressed up as many different characters like Utena and Slayers. The Dragonslayers and Merle cosplay group showed up as the Mazoku from Violinist of Hamelin and they looked spectacular. They won Honorable Mention for their craftsmanship and there were many people who remembered their costumes while I was looking around for them. I was only able to go to the last two days but I still had lots of fun.

On Saturday I was Soul-Stealing Neko-Chan, my original costume of a random anime cat-girl. However I am not just an ordinary cat-girl, I am actually here to steal your soul in my magic box that captures an image of all I survay. See these are the souls I captured:

On Sunday I was Filia Ul Copt from Slayers Try. I think I had the most pictures taken of me as her and so I am in the process of finding them and putting them all here. Filia is a cool character who is stuck up about her race but still knows that when the time comes you don’t have to act as corrupted as they did. I wandered around with Amelia and also Zel for a while otherwise I had Random Boomer No. 7 following me around played by Phil, a good friend of mine.
