| CHARACTER
HISTORY: Shadowmoon was born one of twins; both her mother and her father were high priests of Benethorm. Her parents were both captured and sacrificed by priests of Hades. The twins swore vengeance and tracked down and killed the priests that killed their parents. As Shadowmoon struck down the high priest he called to Hades who heard his prayer and he struck out at the young girl, but as she was on a holy quest the hand of Benethorm protected her. So only a small piece of the magic reached her rendering her mute, thus she could no longer practice the arcane arts, so she trained as an assassin. She became a member of a group lead by Cade Ironbeard that crusaded against the church of Hades. Her twin was killed on one of these excursions. She left the group when Cade fell during the return of the Dragons. She drifted for many years until she met the Haven Group. She fell in love and married Darcy, with whom she had twins. She was eventually captured by the forces of Hades and married to a Blood Duke. The Haven Group was unable to save her before the marriage, but did manage to retrieve her. However she was under the influence of Hades and on the new moon, when his influence was strongest, she would become diseased and insane. For her own safety and the safety of others she was taken to Ellylon under the protection of Elmerland, while she is there she lives as a faerie, but if she was ever to leave she would come once more under Hades' influence. |
