This is not an exercise to debunk religion.

Ancients, notably the Egyptians, sought to preserve their powers, which were encapsulated, in their very own names and in the names of their gods (words
of god). [The word ‘Logos’ (Reason/Logic) originates from the name of the Egyptian god of wisdom, Thoth (Thought). The Greek equivalent for Thoth was Hermes. "Logos", an hermetic device, is thus often substituted for "the word".] It was vitally important to protect power by concealment of these names. Though various systems were contrived for the purpose of concealment, these had to be accessible to the responsible few who could be called upon to access the powers of the ‘true gods’ when needed. Hence the importance of the high initiates and priests – and, on a need-to-know basis, the scribes, who rendered the names and words into cryptic or cipher form.
The Book of Genesis is said to be passed down from Moses, its "author". There would then have been an original version written in hieroglyphics as that is the only written language known to have existed in that region at that time. Another method of transference through the ages to the time it was first written down in Hebrew (at the time of King David) was the "oral tradition" – still practiced and revered by orthodox Judaism to the present day. (Esp. the Jewish Mystery Religion of Kabbalah). Blind persons were usefully employed in the community as "repeaters". As such they were the memory banks, letter for letter, or syllable for syllable, of all important information. Moses was a stutterer and the passing on of the vast laws of Moses was given over to his brother, Aaron. There are several clues contained in the Book of Genesis showing a direct link to Egyptian mystery origins. E.g. Gen 2:19-20 describes how God gave Adam (Man) dominion (power) over all the animals through the act of naming them. Also, the dimensions of the Ark of the Covenant are precisely the same as those of the empty sarcophagus discovered in the Great Pyramid of Egypt. Schooled in the art of "magic" (root of the word imagination) as he was, Moses sought to invoke a larger power (god) than all the Egyptian gods combined. The concept of the ONE GOD encompassing all others became the perfect answer. (This concept of unity, the interconnectedness of all things, is a truism. However, by anthropomorphising it into a ‘people’s god’, at least as far as most have been able to comprehend it, Moses unwittingly set the scene for religious one-upmanship, intolerance and murderous fanaticism – witnessed on Earth to the present day). Naturally the new name of God would have to be the most closely guarded secret of the emerging Hebrew nation. In his wandering during exile Moses came across a people (Midianites) who ritually sacrificed goats to their god "Yahweh" as a form of atonement for their sins. (Hence scapegoat). He was also aware of the astrological significance of the sign Aries the Ram – the "Age" in which he lived. Astrologically, the ruler of Aries, a zodiacal fire sign, is Mars, ‘god of war’ and therefore an extremely powerful ally. Animal sacrifice, though frowned upon by most
civilized peoples today, was actually a vast improvement on human sacrifice,
which had previously served to appease the gods of many ancient religions. The
name "Yahweh", YHVH, incorrectly translated as "Jehova", is
an onomatopoeia, being the sound a sheep or goat makes: "ya...ah...we
...eh" and suited as a perfect occult blind or substitute for the true character
of God which would be embedded in the mystery writings of the Law (Torah)
so that only the most trusted initiates and priests (the Holy of Holies) would
be in a position to invoke his powers. |
