Psalms 14:1 The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good.Psalms 53:1 The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. Corrupt are they, and have done abominable iniquity: there is none that doeth good.
Proverbs 19:3 The foolishness of man perverteth his way: and his heart fretteth against the LORD.
Proverbs 9:6 Forsake the foolish, and live; and go in the way of understanding.
1 Corinitains 2:14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.
QUESTION? If you found out right now God was real, and as you know him to be in the bible (assuming of course you have read the whole bible two or three times before rejecting God, otherwise you reject what you don't try understand.'SO' there is a God as you know him, you 'get down on your knees' and 'worship' Him, or reject Him?
Start this page with the understanding that this page and others to come, illustrate why you can't seem to find the Love of God by scriptural reasoning. But before we get into that, let me expound my reflections on the doctrine of 'There is no God'. Please let me assure you, my sentiments on atheism have no bearing on my faith in God at all, anymore the Islam does. In other words, I don't subscribe to the normal 'perceived' logical fallacies others try to perpetually use in discourse and disputations.
To me "atheism" is a very pessimistic doctrine, not much hope of anything, no hope in heaven, no hope in prayers, no hope for a life here after, nothing but gloom awaits them. Death, darkness, nothingness, even if they won't know it then, they believe it now. There is nothing to look forward to, and once more their love dies off with them. . . and they will never see the ones they love again. The wake up believing this. Now some claim it's not a doctrine, but it is call a doctrine by websters, and at least three other dictionaries, but that's just an attempt to divert from the subject at hand, that atheism as a whole is a very pessimistic view, there is nothing but death coming to atheist, darkness, nothingness, and they believe this, right now, that must have some kind of negative psychological effect on their everyday life whether they know it or not.
Christians on the other hand, have great things to look forward to! The Love of God! A renewed earth! The blessings of Christ, to eat from the tree of life! Streets of gold! No sorrow, no pain, no tears, the lion will play with the lamb. Manna! Glory awaits us! Our just rewards for fighting the good fight to love God and love man. Not a bad outlook, to say the least, and even "if" it "wasn't" true, not a bad way to start the day.
This is what I mean when I say, atheism has a pessimistic outlook on life and Christians have a optimistic outlook on life. With atheism there is nothing but death, nothingness, not anything but nothing, no love ones, nothing awaits them, that's pessimism at its best, unless their godless life has left them in a state where nothingness is better then life. Christians on the other hand, well hey you know our rewards
See the way I see it, atheism throws in the towel from get go, and has a bad "pessimistic" outlook on lifes end. Nothing to do but live to die, nothing else to it. Go for all in life that makes you happy, then die and past into nothingness if you're right, or Hell if Jesus is right. Well we go for all in life that makes us happy too, plus we have a good "optimistic" outlook on lifes end! I know many many happy Christians, to say there are none is a lie, and further more, we get blessings in the end, you guys get to die.
And this might explain why atheist and agnostics have a higher suicide rate.
According to a recent study published in The American Journal of Psychiatry, religious affiliation is associated with significantly lower levels of suicide compared to religiously unaffiliated people, atheists and agnostics. Source: Kanita Dervic, Maria A. Oquendo, Michael F. Grunebaum, Steve Ellis, Ainsley K. Burke, and J. John Mann. "Religious Affiliation and Suicide Attempt" (161:2303-2308, December 2004).That's a said thought, live your whole life just to died. And what's the point in all that if you're nothingness afterward. There is nothing but gloom and death to you guys, no life after, no Gods blessings, not GLORY, no peace, unless you call nothingness peace but then you don't know it. It seems a waste to live an atheist life, it's pessimism at its best!
Also a lot of atheist seem to side with ALL kinds of loose moral laws, abortion, homosexuality, self sexual satisfaction no matter what the cost, for the most part, adultery is okay, even beast-sexuality shouldn't be against the law "what a man does with his own chickens is his business" incest is ok if both are ok with it, it goes on and on and all seemingly negative by the worlds views, as most of these are against the laws of most lands
Now lets get to the evidence of there being an Almighty God Highest keeping in mind that God only grants evidence to each personal individual and will not have man usurp His authority, and prove His is to another man. When God wants you to believe in Him again, it will be His doing and not mankind's.Now see some say, "Because I haven't experienced it, or haven't felt the evidence, it can't be." Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. "If I don't have evidence of it, that means no one else can, and oh, also, evidence is only what I say evidence is, not what you say it is. Even if its your intellect we're talking about. You're not to describe what evidence is for you, I will, and you have no evidence of God, so you're nutz-o, or delusional at best!"
"SOME" people say, I haven't experienced God so He is false, because I haven't had the experience of Him. Therefore because I haven't, no one has. BECAUSE I have never had the pleasure of knowing God, God is false... and so therefore all you must be delusion or just plain out and out insane. Some of the great minds every, sane in everyway, until it comes to Christ, then they just went stupid! I don't bite that apple.
Christians = Martin Luther King, Jr., Sir Isaac Newton, John F. Kennedy, Joan of Arc, Mel Gibson, J.R.R Tolkien, Jimmy Carter, C. S. Lewis, Dr. Albert Schweitzer, Tom Hanks, Emmitt Smith, Alice Cooper, Samuel Morse, Christopher Columbus, Mr T, Franklin Roosevelt, Chuck Norris, J.C. Penney, Johnny Cash Elvis Presley, George Washington, and Rembrandt just to name a few.
Christians = William Shakespeare, Andy Griffith, Galileo Galilei, Jeff Foxworthy, Blaise Pascal, Tom Landry, John Adams, H.G. Heinz, George Washington Carver, Sam Walton, Theodore Roosevelt, Opah, Garey Busey, Robert Kennedy, Zig Ziggler, Dolly Parton, Hugh Ross, both Wright Brothers, Stonewall Jackson, Gen. Patton, Run DMC, Danielle Steele, George Foreman, William Wallace just to name a few more.
The very best an atheist could say about those people is "they were/are in a abnormal mental state characterized by the occurrence of psychotic delusionals of some sort, that make them believe there is a skydaddy up there to pray to." if there is no Almighty God in whom they worship and pray to.
Here goes the "Yeah check out these so called Christians", and you name off a list of blood thristy murdering dogs! People need to quit worrying about what Christians do and how "supposed Christians" act and start focusing more on seeking Christ. There will be no excuses, there will be no "well I just didn't like the ones that followed you, I didn't like their actions" Jesus wasn't a bad guy, nor are his teachings and there will be no excuses. Perhaps you haven't heard the turn the other cheek or do unto others or give a drink of water? Nor do you remember the 'bless them that curse you and or do good to them that hate you and pray for them will harm you?' You FORGOT the women that they wished to kill by the law and the begger at the gates. The teachng of the man laying in the ditch beat to a pulp? Jesus' teachings are not a burden to those that are of love. Is love a bad thing? Will you be against it? Will you be against Jesus or his teachings?
QUESTION? If you found out right now God was real, and as you know him to be in the bible (assuming of course you have read the whole bible two or three times before rejecting God, otherwise you reject what you don't try understand.'SO' there is a God as you know him, you 'get down on your knees' and 'worship' Him, or reject Him?Remember that question? This is who you would be worshipping
Kjv Ezekiel 1:1 Now it came to pass in the thirtieth year, in the fourth month, in the fifth day of the month, as I was among the captives by the river of Chebar, that the heavens were opened, and I saw visions of God.
1:2 In the fifth day of the month, which was the fifth year of king Jehoiachin's captivity,
1:3 The word of the LORD came expressly unto Ezekiel the priest, the son of Buzi, in the land of the Chaldeans by the river Chebar; and the hand of the LORD was there upon him.
1:4 And I looked, and, behold, a whirlwind came out of the north, a great cloud, and a fire infolding itself, and a brightness was about it, and out of the midst thereof as the colour of amber, out of the midst of the fire.
1:5 Also out of the midst thereof came the likeness of four living creatures. And this was their appearance; they had the likeness of a man.
1:6 And every one had four faces, and every one had four wings.
1:7 And their feet were straight feet; and the sole of their feet was like the sole of a calf's foot: and they sparkled like the colour of burnished brass.
1:8 And they had the hands of a man under their wings on their four sides; and they four had their faces and their wings.
1:9 Their wings were joined one to another; they turned not when they went; they went every one straight forward.
1:10 As for the likeness of their faces, they four had the face of a man, and the face of a lion, on the right side: and they four had the face of an ox on the left side; they four also had the face of an eagle.
1:11 Thus were their faces: and their wings were stretched upward; two wings of every one were joined one to another, and two covered their bodies.
1:12 And they went every one straight forward: whither the spirit was to go, they went; and they turned not when they went.
1:13 As for the likeness of the living creatures, their appearance was like burning coals of fire, and like the appearance of lamps: it went up and down among the living creatures; and the fire was bright, and out of the fire went forth lightning.
1:14 And the living creatures ran and returned as the appearance of a flash of lightning.
1:15 Now as I beheld the living creatures, behold one wheel upon the earth by the living creatures, with his four faces.
1:16 The appearance of the wheels and their work was like unto the colour of a beryl: and they four had one likeness: and their appearance and their work was as it were a wheel in the middle of a wheel.
1:17 When they went, they went upon their four sides: and they turned not when they went.
1:18 As for their rings, they were so high that they were dreadful; and their rings were full of eyes round about them four.
1:19 And when the living creatures went, the wheels went by them: and when the living creatures were lifted up from the earth, the wheels were lifted up.
1:20 Whithersoever the spirit was to go, they went, thither was their spirit to go; and the wheels were lifted up over against them: for the spirit of the living creature was in the wheels.
1:21 When those went, these went; and when those stood, these stood; and when those were lifted up from the earth, the wheels were lifted up over against them: for the spirit of the living creature was in the wheels.
1:22 And the likeness of the firmament upon the heads of the living creature was as the colour of the terrible crystal, stretched forth over their heads above.
1:23 And under the firmament were their wings straight, the one toward the other: every one had two, which covered on this side, and every one had two, which covered on that side, their bodies.
1:24 And when they went, I heard the noise of their wings, like the noise of great waters, as the voice of the Almighty, the voice of speech, as the noise of an host: when they stood, they let down their wings.
1:25-28 And there was a voice from the firmament that was over their heads, when they stood, and had let down their wings. And above the firmament that was over their heads was the likeness of a throne, as the appearance of a sapphire stone: and upon the likeness of the throne was the likeness as the appearance of a man above upon it. And I saw as the colour of amber, as the appearance of fire round about within it, from the appearance of his loins even upward, and from the appearance of his loins even downward, I saw as it were the appearance of fire, and it had brightness round about. As the appearance of the bow that is in the cloud in the day of rain, so was the appearance of the brightness round about. This was the appearance of the likeness of the glory of the LORD. And when I saw it, I fell upon my face, and I heard a voice of one that spake.Love, By the Bible God is love, and one cannot truely know love unless they know God. You think you love, so did Hitler.
1 John 4:7-12 Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God.
He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.
In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him.
Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.
Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another.
No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us.Now here comes the, well, this loving God sure has changed His tune from the OT and what about His wraths to come, how loving is that! Very Loving, For God is so loving toward those that love Him, He is willing to do what must be done. Lets talk about that tyrant god of the old testament. The un-righteously murderous beast of a monster that some claim God is... the Maker of your very soul. Lets talk about The Old Testament Killing God!
It makes no difference if YOU believe in the God of the bible or not, The bible says everything he does is just, He is the Almighty God and is the only one, therefor he acts and does just as The Almighty God should do, so if he is real, then what he tells people to do is just and right!.. If you don't believe he is real then why say God said to do anything at all? That's not logical thinking at all.
God by the bibles view is passionate, whether you believe in him matters not, the bible says he is the loftiest and above all mans laws and his morals are higher then mans, so whatever he does is just (By the bibles message, so it doesn't matter if you believe it or not, the same bible that say he is just tells people to do things, so they, knowing He is God do it!)
It matters not if you believe in God or not, the same bible that says he is Just is the same one that says he said to do these things. The earth is the Lords and all things in it. Shame! on you for trying to tell God Almighty how to run his world, if you would bite down on that pride-full tongue you seem unable to control and truely seek the Lord, you would know this
BUT APPARENTLY you cant comprehend the title God Almighty. He is the Just and Perfect God and I can see how it might frighten you to go up against such a awesome and powerful God such as Father in heaven. So . . . you come up with simplistic antidotes and insufficient theories of contrast opposed to Him, but that wont silence the whispers, the calling to your soul, so you shove them aside as well . . .
YET when you lay your head down at night and can't shake the sinking feeling that something is terribly wrong, a systematic awakening in your soul to the realization that there is a Father in heaven, you don't follow through with it then or in the morning. YOU don't seek after His will, you don't get down on your freaking knees and honestly seek him.
Sometimes talking to those not of Christ seems to get redundant and never furthers the name or the sake of Christ, unless one perceives a willingness in that person to conform in mind set to the actualization that there is Someone in heaven that knows your soul and loves you despite of all the harm and injustice you try to perpetrate against Him. There is nothing the Holy Spirit can't answer in your willingness to seek the truth. He, Father, knows you are reading this right now. He awaits.
God won't have man take away from His Glory with worldly impressiveness of ten dollar words. You're never going to find out if there is a God by mans wisdom... never.
1 Cor 2:1-2 And I, brethren, when I came to you, came not with excellency of speech or of wisdom, declaring unto you the testimony of God. For I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified.
2 Cor 3:12 Seeing then that we have such hope, we use great plainness of speech:
Besides God knows deep down you know, and thats scary, and once more, you deep down know that time you believed even for a second . . . and here is what He has to say about it.
Romans 1:20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:
(So see, no one is off the hook. God is saying, deep down all know He is. They can see this just in nature alone, yet they reject what I stand for, and my will, therefore I will blind them to the know knowledge of my existence, because they really don't want my will to be done anyway.
This is how I always looked at it. It is inconceivable to me that a person can look up into the night sky, taking in the awesome wonders, the unfathomable mysteries of awe, then thinks about the little amazon dung beetle and his little dung world of wonder thousands of miles away from him and billions away miles away from the nearest star, how it could have all happened by chance. I can't believe some would be so close minded to God? Its much more conceivable to believe that the First Energy to come into existence became knowledgeable and created all the wonders and mysteries of the vast universe then to think it all "poof" appeared. I don't even believe that, but a timeless being of infinity warps others minds, especially those that can't even fathom the first energy became the mightiest force.Look all I'm saying is it takes a pretty dogmatic mind-set to look at all the wonders and mysteries of this vast universe and not able to at least concede that it was possibly done by intelligent design and not a random act or uncontrolled chaos. This all is one giant mistake, a fluke, and it all started by a giant space toot! "POOF" "wa'laaaaaaa" and we're related to the Twinkie.
Just the wonders of a new born baby are miraculous to say the least. Not to mention the working mechanics of our bodies, the blood vessels, and vain system, the nerviest system, the eye and its workings, the brain and its complexity. How someone cannot examine these things and in truth not conceded to the realization that there "could" be a loving God that did it is beyond my grasp. I guess that's why God gave us Rom. 1:20 to reflect on.
God makes all the rules to this game, an Almighty God gets to do that, create things and make rules. You're going to play this game called "Save yourself from hell" and if you don't find Christ, on your own, then no pass go, no golden streets, no eating from the tree of life. You have to play, like it or not. No sitting this game of life out! You're forever, heaven or hell, smoking or non smoking? From more on this game of life please visit " WISEMEN & THE QUICKENING
Psalms 58:4 Their poison is like the poison of a serpent: they are like the deaf adder that stoppeth her ear;
2 Corinitains 11:3 But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.
If you found out right now God was real, and as you know him to be in the bible (assuming of course you have read the whole bible two or three times before rejecting God, otherwise you reject what you don't understand." SO there is a God as you know him, you "get down on your knees" and worship him, or reject him?
You would reject Him you say?
Well now you already have your answer as to why God doesn't show Himself to you in spirit, there is no need. You rejected Him already! Why should God come prove Himself to someone that already declares they do not what Him or His will to be done? Why should Almighty God come prove Himself to you! You have already rejected Him in your heart, it is not God that has made your choice, it is you.
The affirmations in the Word of God on the matter of. . .
