The bible shows God command the Hebrews to kill those Father deemed as evil, to keep Israel from being polluted by their wicked ways. This was done for two reasons, alot believe.
The Divine God of Sovereignty
#1 it was to keep it fresh in the Hebrews mind, that what God says, is right, no matter what 'might' seem to be right to them. Father knows best. He knows if a people are evil or not, not man. He tells us not to judge, leave it up to Him. Then He judges and mankind gets mad.
#2 Father ordered the killing of the evil ones in the OT, to show us that killing them will not work, if you rely on it, trying to kill off the evil, your downfall will be as sure as Israel's was. One should be able to live among the evil, and still keep faith in God. . . This is the lesson from the so called, OT God of War vs the NT God of Love, I learned it, so have many others. . . you would do well to learn it yourself.
#3 Is this. God used them as an example of what could happen to you as well, if you follow the wicked ones ways.
Jude 1:7 Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.
2 Peter 2:6 And turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrha into ashes condemned them with an overthrow, making them an ensample unto those that after should live ungodly;(When talking "God Almighty did this", The Creator of all, The Highest, the maker of all and everything, one has to understand that He can not nor ever will understand "God's thoughts" There are just a few of many reasons, why this was done, the pointing being, if you believed in God, you would have faith His will to be done. . . is a good thing.)It makes no difference if YOU believe in the God of the bible or not, The bible says everything He does is just. He is the Almighty God and is the only one, therefor He acts and does just as The Almighty God should do, so if he is real, then what He tells people to do is just and right!
If you don't believe He is real then why say God said to do anything at all? That's not logical thinking at all.
God, by the words of the bibles is passionate and just, whether you believe in Him or not, matters not. The bible says He is the loftiest and above all mans laws and His morals are higher then mans, so whatever He does is just.
God to be a genocidal maniac, He ordered the killing of whole peoples and nations, and flooded the world, smote Sodom and Gomorrha etc. etc. etc." AND THEN omit the parts that declare God is just in all His actions and works. In other words, you can't have selective reading with the bible.
It matters not if you believe in God or not, the same bible that says he is Just is the same one that says he said to do these things... The earth is the Lords and all things in it. Shame shame on you for trying to tell God Almighty how to run his world, tisk tisk. . .

BUY APPARENTLY you cant comprehend the title God Almighty, He is a just and perfect God, and yes I can see how it might frighten you to go up against such a awesome and powerful God such as Father in heaven... so you come up with simplistic antidotes and insufficient theories of contrast opposed to Him, but that wont silence the whispers, the calling to your soul, so you shove them aside as well...
YET when you lay your head down at night and can't shake the sinking feeling that something is terribly wrong, a systematic awakening in your soul, to the realization that there is a Father in heaven, you don't follow through with it then or in the morning. YOU don't seek after his will, you don't get down on your freaking knees and honestly seek him. You know it and God knows it. (rom 1:20)
Some will say, well the Muslims believe they are doing Allah's work as prescribed by Mohammed, and this is true, but Christ had a different message, and said love all, so clearly they are NOT of the same Creator, so those of the Islam Nation better make sure they are following the One True God, and not some hate filled doctrine of the Devil!
You have to understand, by the bible, you are NOT worthy to serve Christ at this time, be you Muslim, Hindu, Buddhist, Atheist of any other doctrine of Christ. You are being PLAYED!
