The next few months were dreadful because she had to get used to her new powers. Every two hours of the day she would spend time with each person to help her use her powers. After a month she mastered them. She was ready. To get her powers to work she has to close her eyes and think of the person's power she wants. She can mix two at the same time.

Jubilation thought of her own power, fireworks. She aimed with her fingers at a big boulder and fired. Boom. The rock exploded into a million little pieces. Cool, she thought. She had also brought a deck of cards with her. Gambit's power. He has the power to give any object an energy charge that would cause it to explode on contact. She had and ace of spades in her right hand and she was flicking it. Then it was charged with a yellow glow and she threw it and hit a tree. Opps. She also brought ruby quartz glasses. She put them on. Cyclops's power. His power is energy beams which come from his eyes. Jubilee thought of a good thing to hit, trees. She took off the glasses and aimed at the tree. A bright red optic blast cut the tree in half. Beast's power. His is super human strength and agility. She ran and did a front handspring, front somersault, then did a two back hand springs and a back somersault. That was fun. Wolverine's power. His power is healing ability and enhanced senses. Three adamantium claws burst from her knuckles. She ran over to another tree and sliced through it. Rogue's Power. Her power is the ability to fly, enhanced strength and she can absorb peoples energy. She jumped in the air and flew around until she felt dizzy. Jean's power. Her's is to be able to move objects with her mind. Jubilee closed her eyes and focussed on the bench and opened them and a blue energy beam came from her forehead and at the bench. Then she moved her head up and the bench moved with her. Storm's power. Her power is to control the weather and fly. Jubilee jumped in the air again and flew high. It was summer. This will give 'em a jolt, she thought.
"Arctic winds I command you bring snow down upon us." she said.
It was snowing and -10 degrees. Better set things right.
"Heat come and warm us snow will leave."
Jubilee flew home before Matt got there. He wasn't there which was good. Tomorrow I'll show him. And she went to sleep.

It was nine pm the next evening and Jubilation was standing the tallest building in New York screaming for help. But no was coming to help her. Goddammit how the hell long does it take him to rescue someone?, she thought.
Five minutes later she heard a whoosh of air that was coming closer. She was on Wolverine's power. In the distance she could see a faint but noticeable siloutte, Spiderman. Five minutes later he arrived in his costume which was red and blue and it had spider webs all on it.
"Hi how'd you get up here?" he asked as he climbed up the wall.
"Well I don't really know." Jubilee said in her most frightened voice.
She then began to slip off the building. It was fake. She 'jumped' off the side and was falling.
Beautiful, my wife just fell of a building, Spiderman thought. He jumped off and webbing came out of his web shooter which is on his wrist and stuck to the side of a building. He was swinging down and could see her in his sights. He was going down and was almost at Summer.
"Got ya," Spiderman said as caught her. He swung out to the top of a building.
"Thank you," she said.
"Please don't do that again, and you're welcome."
"Spiderman please meet me in one hour near the fountain in the park."
He thought for a few seconds.
"Alright one hour."
He turned away for a second.
"Do you want me to sling you home?" he said and waited, he looked over his shoulder and saw that no one was there. What is she up to, he thought. And jumped off to his city.
Jubilee got home a few minutes later. She ran up stairs ripped off her clothes and jumped in the shower. After fifteen minutes she was doing her hair. It took twenty minutes to put make-up on. Another fifteen to get dressed. She wore her old outfit. A long bright yellow coat, jeans, and a pink baby-tee. She had five minutes to go.
She took a cab to the park, threw a ten over the seat and got out. She walked quickly to the fountain. And waited. There he is, she thought. Spiderman came and jumped down from his webbing.
"Hi what's this all about?"
"I'm glad you came. There's something I want to show you."
"How long will it take?"
"I don't know, maybe an hour."
"Alright let's get on with it."
Jean's power. She put her hands at the side of her head and concentrated. Jubilee aimed for the beam to hit Spiderman and it did. He was in the air and she was moving him back and forth.
"Hey put me down!" he yelled.
Jubilee put him down. She did all the powers she had and finally it was time for her last power. Jubilee's power. She aimed at a tree and fired. The tree splintered into tiny pieces.
"I'm not Summer Quinn, my real name is Jubilation Lee. And I know who you are."
"Who am I?"
"Matt Brody, my husband." she answered.
Damn how does she know, he thought. I'd better take off the mask. He took it off and revealed himself.
"I was right." she said.
"How did you get this power Summer um Jubilee?" he asked.
"I had amnesia as you already know and someone helped me remember my past."
"What does that mean for us? You're not the woman I married."
"I know and I think that we should get married again. To make it official."
"I like that idea." She fired her own power once more into the air for fun.
"I knew it weren't de fourth of July." said a voice that came from the bushes.
Jubilee turned around and looked for the man. He stepped out of the shadows and into the light. Matt put on his mask.
"Gambit!" she cried. She ran over and hugged him.
"You miss me petit?" he asked.
"Oh you. Ma..Spiderman get over here."
Gambit still wore the same thing, long brown trench coat, blue boats that went up to his knees, black pants and red body armour.
"Tis okay I saw who he is but Gambit won't say a ting."
"I hope not. Or else he'll kill you."
Spiderman came over.
"And you would be?" he asked.
Jean's power. Matt he knows that you're Spiderman. She told him mentally. Fine, he answered.
"Matt this is Remy LeBeau or as we call him Gambit. He's part of the X-Men team as I am."
"Okay, hello."
They shook hands.
"So what are you doing here?" Jubilee asked.
"Well, chere, I was just on vacation. And I was goin' to head back tonight."
"God it would feel so good to see everyone again. Especially Wolverine."
"Was she like in love with this Wolverine or something?" Spiderman whispered to Gambit.
"No, no Logan dat Wolverine he thought of her as his daughter. Though she wasn't. She tink of him de other way. Don't tell him I know. He got bad temper." he said.
Spiderman nodded.
"Petit why don't you come back wit me, non? He can come to, eh."
Jubilee thought for a minute before answering.
"Alright I will go home. You wanna come?"
She looked at Spiderman.
"I guess it's okay, but we gotta stop off and tell Aunt Maye."
"My car is parked around de block. Gambit'll drive you dere."
"I think I'll sling home. If you don't mind."
"We'll meet you there." she said.
Spiderman turned and stuck his arm in the air and webbing came out and he was gone.
"He always do that chere?"
"I just found out myself recently. But yes he does that."
They talked on the way to the car and on the way to Aunt Maye's house. "Tis is a nice place you got here." Gambit said as they walked toward the house.
"Thanks," Jubilee said.
She opened the door and walked upstairs to get her things.
"Hey you beat me." she said as she walked in her room.
"Yep," Matt said. "What should I pack?"
"What you always do. Jeans, sweat-shirt, tee-shirt, costumes."
"And why will I need my costume? Will their be a fight or somethin'?"
"Most likely. There always is over there. Come on we gotta get oughta here."
They walked down stairs and saw that Remy was talking to Aunt Maye.
"Good looking house." he said.
"Thank you," she replied.
"Oh Matt how long will you be gone, dear?"
"Um...a week, two maybe."
"Alright well you phone when your ready to come home."
"We will Aunt Maye. I promise."
"Gambit's a nice young lad, an odd name though." Maye said into Jubilee's ear.
She smiled.
They walked out the door and got in the car.
"Everyone ready? Good we should be dere in an hour and a bit." Remy said.
They pulled away and as soon as they were out of sight of people Jubilee asked: "Gambit can you stop here please?"
He did. "What wrong you forget somethin'?"
"No I just wanted to fly home. If that's okay?"
"Fine chere."
"I don't care if people see. Besides this ought to be cool."
"Alright see you,"
Jubilee got out of the car and jumped in the air. She flew away toward Salem Centre.
"So how long have you known Summ. . . Jubilee?" Matt asked as they pulled away from the curb. "I'm never gonna get used to this."
"I understand. You get through it, non. I know her ever since she was fifteen, dat's when she came to us."
"The Institute. What's it like there? What do you do?"
"Well it very quiet. We in remote area, no one else around. All of us work out in de Danger Room in order to fight off mutants who threaten humanity."
"Oh. Danger Room?? Explain."
"What it is, is a room that we can fight our enemies and practice our powers. Meaning that they are holographs. We can pick any program we want and then we fight. They aren't real."
"Oh. What was Jubilee like when she was a kid?"
"She was de rascal of de group. Always got herself in trouble." He paused. "She still like dat, non?" Gambit asked.
"A little," Matt replied.
They were silent the rest of the way.

The lights were on still at the mansion, someone must have been up.
"Stop here," Jubilee said from the back seat of the car.
"Petit you scare Gambit, don' do dat."
"Sorry, I'm getting out here. Matt you come too and get your costume."
"It's already on."
He got out and stood beside her.
"Gambit take the bags and leave them here, I'll take them in."
"Sure, but why?"
"I'm gonna make it a surprise, for him anyway." she said tilting her head toward Matt.
Remy smiled. And did as he was told and drove the car in the gate.
"You go around back and wait until I give the signal."
"Which is?"
"You'll hear my voice in your head."
"Okay,"
"And wear the costume."
"You got it."
Matt looked around to make sure no one was there. He took his shirt off and then his pants. His Spiderman costume was on underneath. He reached in his pocket and pulled out his mask then put it on. He stuffed the clothes into a bag.
Spiderman jumped on the fence and webbing came out as he made his way to the back of the mansion. God he's so hot, Jubilee thought as she watched him disappear into the darkness.
Well let's go. Rogue's power and Jean's power as one power. She jumped in the air again and used her mind to take the bags with her. She was at the front door step and looked up. The mansion was still the same, even after all those years.
Jubilee knocked on the door and waited for someone to answer.

Hank was walking toward his room when he heard a knock at the door. Who could be here at this hour, he thought. He walked to the door and opened it. He couldn't believe who was there.
"Jubilee is that you?"
"Hi Beast." she said.
He stepped outside and gave her a hug.
"My God its been a long time, to long."
"It has. Where's Logan?" she asked incentively.
"He's outside doing something, I don't know what though."
She nodded.
"Come inside and see everyone."
"I'd love to."
Jubilee stepped inside and took it all in. Nothing had changed, nothing. It was her home and it always will be.
"Place hasn't changed." she said as she walked in the foyer.
"Not at all," Hank said as he came in with all her bags.
"Thanks,"
"My pleasure,"
There was a few minutes of silence when someone came in the room.
"I thought I heard your voice McCoy, c'mon I need you to take a look at..." Scott Summers started to say but stopped because he saw Jubilee.
"Jubilation?"
"Yeah Scott,"
"About time you came back. It's nice to see you again." he said and smiled while govie her a big hug.
"Nice to see you as well. I'm goin' to my room. You didn't touch it or anything, did you?"
They shook their heads.
"Good because I might've hurt someone." she said and walked up the stairs with the bags using Jean's power.
"She sure has changed, Hank." Scott said.
"Indeed she has."
Scott left the room and Beast went to get Xavier to tell him of their surprise.

Wolverine was outside in the back of the mansion practising his moves. He was smelling around and smelled something different, he hadn't smelt it before. This is new, he thought. Logan walked silently as to where the smell was from. He crouched behind some bushes and saw what was different, a man wearing a bright red suit with spider webs all over it. Good thing the calvery's here. Wolverine waited for the right moment and he jumped the guy.
Spiderman sensed danger because of his spider sense. He turned around just in time to see a man jump at him from the bushes. The man landed on him and they began to fight.

Jubilee finished unpacking and went downstairs to the ready room. The doors opened with a hiss and she looked inside, the lights were turned off, when usually they aren't. Well it has been two years, she thought.
Then the lights came on and everyone of the X-Men were there except Wolverine. Jubilee was stunned.
"Hi," she said.
"Welcome back child," Storm said.
"What took you so long sugar?" Rogue said.
"It is good to have you back, Jubilation." the Professor said.
