Hathor
Hathor is often shown as a woman with cow's horns, between which are a solar disc and two feathers.
She is an aspect of Isis, daughter of Ra and sometimes mother, sometimes wife of Horus.
She is the goddess of love and encloses the sun god in her bosom every evening.
Hathor is proctectress of women and mistress of song and dance.
Hathor is a mother figure, although Ra turned to her when he decided that he wanted to slay mankind. She performed such a terrible slaughter that Ra changed his mind and tricked her into getting drunk so that she could not carry on with her task.
