Nature Cure

The basic concept of Nature Cure is that healing comes from within the body itself. There are self-curative forces which are inherent in the human body working towards health and healing. Self control in diet and other aspects of lifestyle play a major role in the healing process.

Accumulation of waste products in the body by eating wrong types of food, over-eating or poor digestion and assimilation, is considered one of the major causes of ill-health and various diseases. The human body is a sophisticated tough machine. Most diseases can be treated by cleansing the body through natural, eliminative and physiological processes.

Treatment

Food - 

Nutrition and vitality of all organisms are dependant on what they eat. Live vegetarian positive food having Sattvik or cooling effect on the body is useful as an eliminative diet.

Fasting

In most acute and chronic diseases short or long fasts on water, vegetable juices, vegetable soups, fruit juices are quite effective. Fasting gives rest to the digestive system and the available energy is utilized for curing the disease.

Earth

dry or wet is used in various forms such as mud application, mud compresses.

Water - 

is extensively used for cleaning internal & external environment of the body. It is used in the form of enema, tub bath, steam bath, spinal and shower bath, hip bath, foot bath, arm bath for various ailments.

Sun - 

is the source of energy for all living plants and animals. It has a purification and stimulating effect on human body and mind. Sun bath is useful for improving body circulation and in various skin diseases.
