Or, A Good Reason to Pollute
Imagine two roads running near each other. They seem to meet in the distance. You can only surmise two things -- either they meet at one point, or they run parallel, and their meeting is only a trick of the eyes. This is much like a relationship. You begin at the start of the road, not really knowing if your paths will ever truly cross.
Your ride down, you and your other going down the road, and you are always close... always looking for the point at which your two roads meet. Some can find this intersection quickly, others need to travel a long way. Some don't ever meet at all.
The scenarios are quite endless through this metaphor, and your fate all depends on how far you go on this road, or maybe you'll get off at the next exit. Many times, the roads you travel may become distant from the roads around you, sometimes they intersect only for a short while, only to break up again. There are even times when a construction crew comes in and merges your two paths together. The possibilities are truly endless.
There is one certainty I believe in though. Two roads will cross, and stay crossed. It may take months, it may take years, but the point in life is to keep on riding. Keep driving. Don't let the construction crew come in and make your road a dead end. Don't let them tear your road apart.
