Carlsbad Caverns

When I was a child my parents always did what they could to promote my interests... especially in science. A telescope brought me closer to the stars and several trips to Colorado drove me to love geology. With geology comes cave formation.

There is something about being in a cool, dark, world that makes one feel as if they have transported to another world.

With our trips to Colorado, came stops at Carlsbad Caverns. I have not returned since I was a child...but I'm working on that:)

The photographs to the right were taken by me when I was about 14 years old, with an old 110 camera that Dad gave me for Christmas.

This is my all time favorite cave!!!
