"The Fairy"



The fairies dance upon the lawn
Adorned in filmy azure gown
Bow to the little ones, extend my hand
A fairy ring, in it I stand



Violet petals surround my feet
As I dip and bow, call "Merry Meet!"
Tiny but wise beyond all expectation
Rise up voices of the little nation



Praise the Goddess, wisdom seek,
In two planes i plant my feet
Reaching skyward with my hands
My feet firmly anchored as I stand



A dream surrounds me, enchants
I waken from a dewy trance
The sunrise smiles across the sky
The little ones have gone.... I sigh



To this enchanted cheery place
When night and Moon align
Magick will once more replace
The shadows in the Glen
We will meet again
