The Dream Warrior
These are the books by D.J. Conway about a young woman named Corri Farblood. She grows up as a theif, but soons finds that she is a chosen one of the Goddess Frayma with an important mission.
In this first book, Corri finds out that the master theif, Grimmel has plans to have a child with her. He forces her into marriage, but before he gets a chance to . . .uhm . . .consummate the relationship, she is rescued by the sorcerer Imandolf.
And so the journey begins . . .
In this book we also meet Takra Wind-Rider, a warrior woman who is on a mission to avenge the death of her sister-friend.

Sooth Slayer
In book 2, Corri's adventures continue as she meets Dakhma, a young Tuonela girl with special gifts, and ponders her love for the Tuonela warrior Tirkil and the Green Man Gadavar.
This books introduces us to many interesting characters as Corri, Imandolf and Takra search to unravel the prophecy of the Soothsayer. And the Rissas are cool. (The cat in the picture.)

Warrior of Shadows
The battle that the journeys of the characters have been preparing them for throughout the series. Corri, Takra, Imandolf, etc. must find the sacred armor and other useful tools that will aid Corri in the battle against the cruel leaders of Frav. In the meantime, alliances are being made with certain groups of people under these leaders who are seeking the freedom to live as they chose. Corri's powers grow more as she undergoes another test, accidently. And she is aided by a Rissa and the beautiful singing serpant.
