 | Name: Erde Appearance: tall, black hair and dark eyes Gift: sometimes can communicate with animals, including the dragon Earth Story: Book of Earth Erde, a baron's daughter in a lonely mountain keep, has always dreamed of dragons. She heard dragon lore from her grandmother and her old nursemaid, and liked to daydream herself on adventures with the ancient creatures.
After her grandmother's death and the arrival of a corrupt priest, Erde's home falls apart. As a result of the priests accusations, Erde loses her two remaining companions and must flee for her own life.
Though the girl has somehow lost her voice, she is still able to communicate with the dragon, Earth, when she meets him, through mind pictures. Together they travel accross the kingdom in an attempt to avoid pursuit and find out what purpose has been set for them, something the dragon knows exists but can't remember.
The two are soon joined by a few move traveling companions, including a stubborn goat, a highly intelligent mule, and a former baron who was also forced to leave his home. From this man, Erde finds out that she must be a Dragon Guide, though she has no idea what this is. All she knows is that the dragon dreams they are summoned and they must find out by who before it is too late.
Along the way, Erde realizes that the horrors spread by the priest range for from her own former home and that there me even be a plot to destroy the king. For the rest of the story and new characters, read:
