Book 1: The Hollow Kingdom

Shortly after Kate and her younger sister Emily arrive to live with their aunts, Kate finds that she has been chosen for a bride by the goblin king, Marak, who rules an underground kingdom. At first, Kate wants nothing more than to escape is clutches, and she successful evades a few of his kidnap attempts. But when Emily dissappears, Kate enters the goblin kingdom willingly, planning to give herself to Marak for the return of her sister. But neither Marak nor Emily's dissapearance are as they seem, and soon Kate finds herself drawn into twisted plots and a world of magic that she never could have imagined.

Book 2: Close Kin

This story begins with the young elf woman Sable scarring herself as not to be attractive, meaning she will not have to marry and die in childbirth. She is one of the last members of a dying people, with no understand about why things are as they are or how they could be different.

After a misunderstanding between Emily and Seylin, Seylin leaves on a mission to find his elf kin. Soon after, the distressed Emily leaves to search for Seylin. What the two find on their seperate paths are pieces of elf history and knowledge about their own identities.

When Seylin finally does encounter a band of elves, they are not at all what he was expecting. Emily and Seyling discover that there is more to learn about the nature of the world, the people's who inhabit it, and the histories that lead up to current life.


Book 3: In The Coils of the Snake

Two young woman who thought they had their futures planned find themselves in situations they'd never imagined, and the futures of their peoples are at stake.
