 | The Naming Maerad, a girl who has lived as a slave for as long as she can remember, finds a traveler hiding in the barn as she is setting about her daily tasks. The traveler, Cadvan, quickly notices Bard talents in young Maerad and offers her the opportunity to escape her life as a slave and leave with him. The journey they undertake together is filled with new dangers, as dark forces are beginning to awaken in the world and Maerad realizes that she might have a very important part to play in the battles between good and evil to come. |
