Story:

When she is 12, Gwenore must flee her home after her mother accuses her of and imprisons her for the murder of a nobleman. This flight begins a journey in which Gwenore must continuously change her name and appearance to stay hidden. When she winds up at a place called Blessingwood, she begins to learn more about her birthmark and the destiny it may symbolize.
She stays with the women of Blessingwood for about two years, learning how to expand her talents and working with the healers to help sick and injured villagers. During her stay she has dreams and visions of swans and four children calling to her for help, and in her final days at Blessingwood, she recieves a tapestry showing the same vision.
When she has to leave her new home, it is for Ireland, and she knows she must somehow discover why she has the birthmark of enchantment, why her hair is turning white, and what the significance is of the four children and the swans.
