You Know You're A Wren Fan When . . .
by Ven - January 2003
*during a class on birds you hear "Wren" and start jumping up and down and clapping
*you carry around a "scrying stone" and try to find your friends with it. when someone asks what you're doing, you cover it quickly and scold "shh, they'll catch us."
*when the teacher tells you to introduce yourself, you say you don't have a last name and don't know your age
*you ask your male friends if they can talk to animals. you wonder why they're in denial.
*you ask your female friends if they are secretly princesses and say you understand if they're not able to tell you yet.
*when someone talks about draining the water from somewhere, you shout "No! What will happen to the fish people?!"
*you beg your friends to go on walks and roadtrips with you and refer to them as "quests" and "journeys"
*every person you know knows to look for the Wren books at yard sales . . . even people you only see once a year
*you've actually convinced your best friend that she is a princess and she keeps asking people when she'll get to go home
*you catch your boyfriend holding onto a stray cat and chatting to it while it claws him to pieces. when he sees you approaching, he releases the cat and tells you "i think i made a friend. you were right," as he wipes at the scratches on his face and neck.
*you smile happily when your friends tell you you have stripes in your hair
*you often wonder what you'd look like as a dog and frequently ask others
*when someone says they're going to fly somewhere, you automaticly picture them on a giant bird . . . what's an airplane?
*you find a way to freeze the water pipes at your house so that you have to stay at a friend's house. when she's still sleeping in the morning, you take off with Wren's Quest . . . (no, Cienna, i didn't really freeze that water on purpose.)
*you go half with a friend on Wren's Quest . you know she'll be fair because she's a princess
*when you go to pick up a friend, you tell everyone that you're rescuing her from the wicked king Andreus
*often, you find yourself asking "What would Eren Beyond-Stars do?" - credit Cienna
